Shit.
Shit.
EVE ONLINE NO-CONSEQUENCE PVP ONLY
I think losing 49- is more of a pain than losing delve allies, also -A- have a history with that system. I think on average every second of my ships was lost there. (fucking AOE dd)
It will be a fun meatgrinder for the regional players. Also I think it was discussed that this 319- deployment wasn't communicated as a "THIS IS THE LINE! THIS IS WHERE WE STAND" thing to the grunts since everyone was gearing up for a possible catch invasion. Yes it is not the nicest thing to do an ally (to say the least) but the general member of -A- is attached to catch and surrounding regions and not to delve or nulli.
This might be because delve housed more than one of our "archenemies" (first bob and MC, then goons) and AAA never had big, everlasting strategic partnerships (bar ROL and SE) like Goons or the late NC. Allies comes and goes (atlas, bob, goons, ra, etc) but your alliance culture can be broken only once, and since AAA's culture is highly based upon the image of enduring the storms and always coming back and retaking what is "ours" (read: lgk then back to ge-) it is vital to not rile up the troops to defend a region that is probably lost, because when the enemy comes knocking on your very own doorstep everyone's burned out defending a region perceived as worthless.
So I guess what I was about to write is that we are coming out to fight at our borders BEFORE the space is lost. (from our perspective)

I'm assuming this is a troll or you are deliberately missing the point or maybe just coloured outside the lines as a kid.
-a- give access to near constant PVP. When a pilot logs in there are generally active pvp gangs usually several and its usually not long to wait before a large fleet is formed for a strat objective or just a roam.
This is NOT provided by every alliance in eve.
Someone asked why pilots would be in -a- at all despite the obvious flaws and I answered objectively as an -a- pilot. Being on the massive bluefest on the other side does not appeal to me at all for several reasons. Personally I'd rather fight and lose than have to rely on supers or massive numbers advantage to win. I totally get why dropping supers and winning is fun, it's just not my kind of fun.
I'd assume that anyone asking why we are fighting more often now is just trolling.
Right now we've a good chance of getting a fairly even number fleet fight for objectives which is a LOT of fun. Recently the fights we've had have been pretty close and a blast for both sides.
That's a lot more fun than undocking to meet 800+ cfcers
We did fight in delve during the last war (some nice fights) but anyone who thinks fighting massively outnumbered is sustainable is just stupid or trolling.
Worst times for AAA was when we were part of the Goon Nap block and later allied with Atlas.
Back then you could afk a freighter from the bottom of Faythabolis to Keberz with 99% certainty of surviving the trip.
Shadow of xxdeathxx was a renter alliance. They had to follow rules and shit. Legion of xxdeathdx certainly PVPed.
Actually, rules like the one you posted are one of many reasons TEST and HBC have that drive our goal of eliminating the renter model. All those slaves suffering under the will of an alliance that ~gives access to pvp~ should be emancipated.
The renter corps are there by choice and not by coercion. They do not aspire to take part in coalition level operations and they are content with the little slice of the universe they have their name on it. Also I think the AAA C corps do not have any restrictions regarding their pvp activity (beyond the nbsi rules). Drawing parallels between renter constellations and ghettos are very appealing, but it's very far from the truth imo.

Thanks for stepping up and goodposting for your alliance.
As an older member of -A- (and I'm assuming Rus?) what's your opinion of the newer former NC corps like MV and hirr and of the overall UStz contingent in -A- that has risen in more recent years?
I don't understand why you keep hammering this point as if it sets you apart from the rest of eve, fighting a lot is not culture. Contrary to popular opinion CFC pilots do roam quite a bit especially in TEST. I see at least half a dozen roams go out in a day and usually more. Heck there are probably 200 man alliances in Syndicate that roam more than -A- and TEST combined. Try again.
There's nothing worse than having a good idea for a post not being good enough to pull it off :negative:
Every major coalition leading alliance, almost ever?
LV in the south way way back, lets KOS, - M - and ERA get rolled, then wakes up as -V - is losing most of it's space.
D2 in the north way back, lets FLA, IRON and sub alliances get rolled, defends after most are destroyed.
BoB in the West, throws it's allies and pets in Fountain to the dogs, PL comes in and gets MASSIVE.
MM in the north, R.A.G.E. and ME aren't even really defended Tribute comes under assault, oops.
AAA in the south, Nulli, VC and RA all thrown out of space, wake up now start treating it serious after last sov is gone.
This isn't a new trend, the new trend might be someone thinking it's okay to let it happen and that THIS time, the 5th time, it won't lead to their coalition being destroyed. Ignore my tag for a minute, the hardest thing to gain in this game is morale, and the easiest thing to lose is morale.
These wars have almost all been won by one side starting a winning streak and keeping it going. As one side gets 'used to' winning more people log on, and on the other side the other side has the reverse. People log off, play other games, alliance leaders suddenly 'have some problems in real life' or 'someone is suddenly sicker then normal and I must hold their hand while they break through this furious case of the common cold for the next 4 weeks....'. We've all been there and in those positions, and a few of us have even been the alliance leaders that gave those excuses of why we didn't want to be someone else's punching bag for weeks if not months on end.
The problem with that comes from neither side liking that result, the losers lose space, members and items, the winners take space (oh wow, how awesome space), maybe a few moons, and have to grind structures for weeks if not months. No one fucking wants that, they BOTH want a brawl where both sides are losing ships left and right and up until the last fucking SECOND no one knows who is going to win. Hero pilots pull off amazing tricks, FC's lead in ways they never thought, mistakes are made, and each side jumps and counters hard. THAT is fun, THAT is what both want.
But the hidden factor of Morale is this cumulative drain or gain that destroys those battles from happening. There is always a turning point in a war, when the defenders either rally and win a massive battle or they say 'fuck it, wolfpax time'. I don't think any of us are even close to either point, and to top it all off the tech nerf and moon re balance has everyone saying 'um wtf is going on' and not really wanting to make major moves.
Outpost Update guy, DTHI lifer, (retired) alliance leadership guy <--- read also whipping boy, and Bitter VET asshole who can't give up EVE.
Twitter - Banlish , more media shit coming as I get the cash together for outpost update type things.
Well I really liked the family style AAA, before the opening to USTZ begin. Of course COL and DKOD were mostly english speaking corps (PPN was german) but we had no USTZ present to speak of. When the goon war came BDCI tagged along and became the first of many USTZ offering corps in -A-. I think that was the best composition of the alliance, but after ET and the other rus old guarde went riding bikes more english corps got in.
And thanks to this process in the current -A- huge chunks of the alliance is USTZ (back in the days every big cta was timed to 1600-1700 evetime, because of the +3 hour difference between gmt and moscow). For me it means that AAA stopped being a family business and switched to a more efficient business model (we had to, since we are not very good at managing relations with allies, so at one point or another we will be facing bigger numbers than we have).
I particularly don't have any problem with the ex-mm corps, they provide solid numbers and time will tell if they'll fit in (I don't know, nor want to know any of the leadership stuff that's going behind the curtains so I can't speak for their directors and CEOs). But I think the best addition to our alliance is Old Hroft's bomber corps, since then our RUS bomberwing is being more and more effective.

Truth is that almost all of old school AAA members since the "family style" days are gone and those who are left are inactive as fuck.
AAA will never be the same as in the old days nor will any alliance of similar age for that matter, so asking the bitter old vets about whether new corps fit in or not doesn´t really produce any meaningful answers .. would the MM corps fit in AAA of 2007? most likely not .. are they fitting in today .. yea I´d say they are doin pretty well for them selves.
[05:28:32] Damienwhat Solette > friend said, if only they didn't have those 2 falcons there, i said they have 3, and he said that just says they don't want to do anything fair, just want to be dicks about it like not normal dicks but big black huge cocks
Hey, remember when the CFC was going to evict -A- and there was a big SotG about it? Those were good times.
Hey remember that one time I got super drunk and came on Kugu and there were turdbutts bleating about shooting Internet Pixels better than other turdbutts?
You mean every single time?

We were in KOS back then, I actually feel nostalgic about visiting the first systems we put up towers in. It's almost the same feeling I get when I drive by the house I lived in as a kid.
I remember that -V- was going to help us against the Red Menace, that V was going to come to our aid, that LV wasn't going to let us die....
Then 2 months later we were living in Deklein, with FLA, and MC was coming, but D2 was going to come to our aid...
If you ever find yourself in this position, ask yourself why you're waiting/hoping for someone else to come help you.
The more anti- aaa propaganda that circulates, the easier to see how butthurt cfc/PL really are. God i love being in triple shit, we are gentting so much attention <3
I don't really know if what they are feeling can be considered butt-hurt. Possibly, just possibly, they may have a case of the shit-dick for excessive anal sex upon your group.
It's really bad form not to wash your ass -A-.

I'm making a Post. What have you done lately?
If I had a unit of Thulium for every time someone rose to a half-hearted -A- troll's posts, I'd be a millionaire from you alone Fix Lag![]()
Well, I was giving him the benefit of the doubt by saying it's a gimmick account. Because if it's not a gimmick account, he is certifiably mentally retarded. How else can you explain the smug posting from an alliance whose various member corps, over the last several months, have been publicly shamed, penetrated more times than Makalu's mother on a Saturday night, robbed, camped into a single NPC station, led by idiots, and kicked out of several regions?
And really Jack if this is your "best month ever" I can't even imagine what a bad one would be like![]()
