Also, if you had enough maelstroms, could you alpha God? If yes, how many would it take?

Fleets formed up (on both sides for once), shit happened, ships exploded, most of us went home happy.
Lolol that fit is fantastic.
And I love the reasoning -A- provided with that forum post "CFC slowed us down, and helped xdeath in one system, this is a threat!"
Anywho that brdoc report of Q1U-IU looked great for both sides, wished 'I was there'

My response to -FA-:
This is me giving a fuck.
-A- is shit.
I've known about this for the greater part of the last two weeks. I've not cared and want you all focusing on getting to branch. They are horrible and delusional if they actually think they'll have an impact on us or this coalition.
They seriously are coming up here to waste their time. Their member base should be quite upset with their leadership for making them go 50 jumps across the galaxy just to get shit on. They have 3 tactics, 1. Nano Oracles (lol ez kills) 2. Tech 3 ships (we've raped em before, we'll rape them again), 3. Supers, with PL in low sec and us in welp canes, do you see -A- having much effect on us at all?
I hope they field their supers.
I hope they bring another 2 titans worth of Tech 3 Cruisers for us to blow up.
I hope they fly their oracles as horribly as they did in the south.
BR:
this was a long day
started at like 15:00, rf'd an ihub while we tried to unsuccessfully gank some NC. carriers repping pos mods
took an hour break
formed again, killed the v7 cynojammer pos, i had thought it was a tech, i raged a little bit.
burned back to titans, NC. RDN. ev0ke, init etc. are now formed to defend the 4 tech moons coming out, and thus begins a delicate back and forth battle of manuevering, while the hostiles are getting setup to defend an ihub we quickly RF'd before they even get into position. We sneak RZR drakefleet in to kill a neo moon in 92d while hostiles are out of position, we get a small anchored and online before they could reposition back to next door in n-5. We then zip back to under our jammer in MA- and bridge back northwards to kill the v7- tech moon before they see that coming. (+1 neo +1 tech +2 ihubs)
throughout most of this rzr has had 4 dudes shooting the NC. small that came out in o-by and i even sent some Reinforements to help, but while we were doing the above paragraph NC. moves into position kills their own small and starts anchoring a large. So fuck son, time to burn back to pure blind, someone got greedy and didn't use a small. we make it back to o-by at 24 minutes left to online on the large tower. Nc. wisely chooses to not oppose us (600 vs. 120) [their allies all stood down] and let the tech moon go, although had they tidi thrown some interdiciton our way they likely would have saved it. (+1 tech)
so we now have to burn all the fucking way back to tenal to get two more ihubs. i ask boat to form and kill the raiden. guys shooting our sbu's. they had like 80 to start which before boat could get there turned into 375. lucky for boat. so now our exhausted and battleworn troops have returned. with the fire of death in our eyes we got onto titans, we wrote our wills and bridged into the 400 spartans in jsi. sadly the 450 ran from our 700 (we are in 2/3 drakes wtf) ok then....
so we take our 700 and we put them on the gate. 450 dudes on the other side. we jump.
grid takes about 2minutes load, we decloak and we brawl. being that the hostiles are 4 seperate fleets we treat them as such. We are 4 different fleets too (1 alpha 2 drake 1 boatcanes and boatrakes) we start by primarying ev0ke as they were the most dangerous damage wise, followed by init. at some point OH warps their tornado fleet within 70km of the maelstroms and gets blapped pretty hard. test bombers throw a couple runs down and at some point get a good run in on boat and the abaddons.
we continue chewing through ev0ke and init as i try to pull range with my maelstrom fleet. we take losses pretty good to start but once range stabilizes a bit we hit the critical point and almost all alphafleet losses stop. the drakefleets throughout take some losses but like ballers they just laugh and keep firing.
once init and ev0ke have been nuetered all to hell, we start alternating between destroying reps and destroying BS of NC. raiden still has 7 carriers on the field at this point so we generally ignore them. All of a sudden NC.'s 3 triage carriers are down and we begin pushing them in pretty hard. we then realize the fight is all but won and start cleaning down tech3's and carriers.
NC. bails first followed shortly by ev0ke and init. Raiden. takes their time trying valiantly to save their carriers, but invarialby ends up just losing more.
with the field cleared and the wrecks looted we RF the ihub and the remaining carriers who had tried to rep the ihub throughout the fight.
and then smug was had by all
I don't know limits or boundaries, but others do..so I push em till I get what I desire
goons are dumb for helping in c-j, -a- is dumb for retaliating. pl has been running a shadow empire between you at both your expense for two years (with goons taking the place of the nc), and you've both been too dumb to realize it
the fact that you're fighting each other at the very time you could be striking the killing blow is just the paragon of your stupidity
So how many more regions until CFC resets for goodfights?
If you kill enough of them they stop fighting - Gen. Curtis Lemay
Fear the KKM
It's not a matter of space, it's a matter of existential threats. That's the main issue with the super blob, it isn't a matter of x hundred people planning ans scheming for months to annihilate you from the game, it can be as simple as fifty dudes with nothing to do that week but smash somebody's space empire. The only reason the entire CFC from Branch to Fountain is alive right now is because they can pack 1200 faggots under a cynojammer in us prime; if it wasn't for that, they'd have been in syndicate for 6 months now.
I personally quit the CFC a little after the titan nerf announcement because I believe that existential threat to casual gamers in nullsec is passing, but I fully expect the coalition to stay together until it has actually passed. Until it's a very remote possibility that one or more "elite pvp" alliances can casually decide to roll you out of your space in the span of a week, then they are justified in maintaining what is still in essence a defensive coalition, despite its offensive actions.
NCdot please continue showing us your mastery of elite PvP in tribute.

I also question 1x invuln and 3x LSE+2 points, but that's just me.

I'm glad -A- is heading on up.Hell with the invasion in tenal in full swing, and NC. deciding to step in I should be able to stay in fleet pretty much all the time.Who cares why -A- has decided to grace us with their company.More shit to shoot. As for the whole not shooting structures thing...LOL they will set timers or we will ignore them.Honestly if they just want fights they should have deployed to Venal.then we could get some sexy three way action.

An additional note on the Q1U fight.
Tidi worked really well. We jumped 700 duders through a gate at once into a grid with 400+ bad guys waiting. There were no mass crashes and most people loaded grid. It did take 5 minutes real time but after that we had a good fight without too much problems. A lot of people desynced during the fight but that is to be expected. I really prefer the slower fights to the unpredictable lag that we used to have.
Definitly agree here. To put that fight alongside fights of a year ago (PNQY for example), there is just no comparison. The more TiDi fights I've gone through, the more confident and pleased I've felt with the system. I'm no longer finding myself spamming commands in the hope that something works; no having to cycle guns, no permanently stuck on modules, no spamming lock. Sure, we all wish it was going a bit faster than 10-15%, but at least everything feels like its working.
There were literally only two things I had issue with yesterday.
1) For some reason, the instant I were supposed to load grid in Q1U, the entire machine locked up hard. It'd been up for a month straight without rebooting, and this seems to just be something that happens from time to time. Oh well, etc.
2) I think CCP Afro needs to just take a look at the module cycling time, I wasn't fully able to reliably time the firing because the timer isn't accurate, and when travelling back after the fight, the MWD cycling trick to initiate warp earlier didn't work because it just wouldn't disengage until I hit 75% speed anyways.
Other than that, yes. We can actually reliably jump in to another system now and expect to not die horribly in a fire. Literally the best change CCP has done the last year for just making 0.0 warfare not suck complete dick.
The low slots actually aren't too terrible since he was in a muninn gang and gallente ships have less agility and are slower than muninns. The neut in the highs is kind of useless, but then it doesn't matter what lachesises put in the high slots. The real issue there is the 3x LSE. But then, I guess it makes sense for him and only him because I'm imagining Twinkey flying that ship and saying something much like he would say in any other fleet:
"REP ME, MOTHERFUCKERS, IF YOU'RE NOT FUCKING REPPING MY ENORMOUS AND UNNECESSARY BUFFER, YOU ARE FUCKING WRONG"

I like how noone noticed the fucking gaping EM hole in that fit. And no smartbomb.
Lows are p shitty too but w/e
It's not unnecessary when the people you're fighting field arty maelstroms 7 times out of 10. Any lack of resist can be overcome by fielding more logistics, but even if twinky made all of the inmates show up in scimis it wouldn't make a difference if he's blown out of the water before he can key up and threaten them all with solitary confinement if he doesn't get repped.
Although that doesn't explain why he decided to fit 2 points.
I was going to write something sarcastic about how fighting maelstroms with a bunch of muninns is yet another example of retardedness. Then I looked closer at the battlereport and I'm really not sure what the fuck that fleet comp was at all. Tornados mixed with muninns mixed with drakes?
