Lol i wish that was seen as an actual tactic. But to be honest the Chimera jumping into that Fleet was a complete accident on both end. I was in the alliance "reinforcement fleet" that was on the way to help save our trapped bros in the station. We were proceeding to through the system and had just jumped in when we saw the cyno pilot in a Manticore on the gate. We popped him immediately and thought it was just a bait cyno. Running into him was a complete accident. There was a slight delay when all of a sudden a lone damn chimera appears in front of us. We see this is a mistake on MM part and that maybe we were quick and lucky enough to pop the cyno pilot soon. Being just a small reinforcement gang we know we maybe don't have the firepower to kill him but this is a very lucky opportunity. We overheat everything trying to kill him until we hear the entire MM fleet in 1DH is coming for us. We get the Carrier into 20% armor when the MM fleet warps in right on top of us. We warp to the opposite gate when the trapped fleet arrives to reinforce and then we and MM duke it out on the gates. Damn messy fight as I had 5 ships shot under me in the 20 something hours of fighting MM and Initiative over 2 day straight days. As for our guardians Iw ould say its part good tactics and fighters on the MM side, not just error on our part. MM brought the fights and it nice to duke it out with good opponents. Thanks for coming down MM and welcome to the neighborhood. Stay Red and I'll be sure to send your corpses back to ya on contracts. :P. Good fight. Battles are pretty good draws and we actually respect those damn NC demons.

LOL! If you start what ever you are saying with Lol it is unlikely to be given much positive attention. I DID however battle through.

I was also there on that fleet you describe, it was a mishap on our side but luckily we cleaned up just in time. From the MM side, i have noticed a significant improvement in MM fleet participation and moral, mostly from the fact we are actually winning fights.

But the two issues still remain, one being the ability to make money, how deep are people wallets and can ratting without sov maintain us. Secondly the blueing of Br1ck and Col. worries me, when Br1ck absorb those Majesta Empire corps (23/7 etc..) they will grown is size and this whole Thunderdome joy might slip from us. Maybe PL coming to Delve might counter balance this though.
