This campaign has been one the best I've lead or been part of for a VERY long time. Perhaps it's because it's RUS TZ with us against 4 RUS TZ alliances, or maybe it's because SOLAR are fucking vikings and make the usual cowards also fight like little baby vikings.
Whatever it is -- strategically it's been fairly stalemate(ish). We stopped all forward progress last week, but were unable to reverse it until this week when the edges started to crumble. Currently SOLAR is unable to defend against PL/NCDOT even in RUS TZ, but luckily GYPSY/SE is always around to swing it to the defenders unless RA/XIX join in -- at which point A/ROL is needed to once again balance it out. At that point, it's been a question of who coordinates better.
We utterly raped A/ROL/GYPSY Tengus few days ago, since they didn't wait for SOLAR -- and by the time SOLAR joined A/ROL was running with remaining 20 tengus out of 70 and GYPSY was down most their scimmies. Thus SOLAR lost their BS fleet. Subsequently RA/XIX failed to communicate to PL/NCDOT in similar manner and we ended up going one fleet at a time against now coordinated SOLAR/A/ROL/GYPSY/SE fleets and got raped one fleet at a time.
Strategically perhaps the most important timer of the whole drone war so far was yesterday. Both 9iz (ie. SOLAR PRIME) ihub and station were coming out of RF 1 and loosing the fight meant they would be put into RF2 and come out on a weekend.
In a RUS TZ war against PL/NCDOT EURO/US/AUS alliances means we are able to pull max 100 at DT on a weekday. But if that should be a weekend, you can make it 200 just in supercaps. I'm not sure how, why or what the fuck -- but Makalu of Against All Allies decided it was a good idea to STANDOWN their defence CTA and instead tell people to pod back to LGK (south) to deal with SBUs under attack in an incursion jammed system.
So, here we are -- on the day before the storm, what promises to be the largest fight in drones to date. Who knows how it will end up, but I sincerily thank -A- for giving us the chance to assault SOLAR's HOME system RF2 timers on a weekend. It was about time our EU work & US crew got in on the action.

Question is, what will you do when you contract expires? In their current form, XIX/RA won't be able to stand up to SOLAR alone. Will you babysit XIX? (Again, that's if they don't become at least average). Will you take another contract, a more permanent one?

Delve has broken truesec, so its got a weird spawn rate for things like faction and officer spawns, the Drone regions collectively have a very high average sec status, meaning that anomaly farming is off the chain.

Spot on, was a great war of attrition (good few months of pwe pwe) until PL/NC.dot/Evoke/WN/Raiden all joined the affray and removed us eventually for Solar and pets to move in... The -R- (Rebellion/Gypsy) sov drop didn't help but speed our eviction.
Nevertheless still routing for Solar, so some nostalgia reason.
I offered my elite BF3 services to NC. when they fought PL. I am still offering my services @ 1 round of play time for 2,000 Tech.

I nominated him for the best poster on Kugu, he has reported thousands of PL fights over the years. He has really good zingers sometimes. More importantly he usually gives links of the fights, so it does not really matter what he says. The intel is right there in front of you.
Plus, I had a granite like hard on for him when he was in IAC.
We are on contract we don't need more isk but there are other in game things that can be provided as compensation.
