We where going to a most honourable Threeway-Thunderdome in Fountain after we got intel that MM was trying to SBU shit on TEST-Turf with a SACRILEGE-Fleet.
Unfortunately the unhonourable subhumans from TEST did Batphone the Dirty Dutch Vee so our 100 Tengus had to face 150 Tests and 180 Goons in Hurrcanes after MM melted in like 10 seconds before we even got a chance to shoot at them.
It didn't turn out so good obviously. Even the trusty Evoke-Cheetah couldn't help.

Buggered if i know. I did work out a capstable dual drop fit once. Aka, burn in close with the MWD's then AB around like your armour hacs. Though i sort of realised it was an insane idea before actually trying to get people to fly it.
This though.. i dunno. I'm guessing? it's supposed to fight hellcat fleets? Given the wealth of tracking disruptors it's running around with.
MM apparently wanted to screw with test abit in their shiny new fleet doctrine (and yes whoever came up with it was most likely smoking something funny), Brick formed up to assist em and got 60 people in an LRKA fleet.
Anyways what happened was MM moving over to Y-2 and only then realising there is an absolutely massive (250-300) man CFC blob moving their way, with a 120 man Evoke thundercat fleet coming up behind them. Brick bridged in behind Evoke, but by then MM was already busy getting themselves welped. From the sound of it they melted really fast to the CFC fleet, and things didnt exactly get better when Evoke came in for the sandwich, so our glorious fc Alphastarpilot decided to give the signal for a hasty retreat in the form of Benny Hill music playing on comms, with some Shadoo soundboard thrown in for added flavor.

Kinda sad that MM got blobbed so horribly tho. After all, since this doesn't really count as a battletest for the HML Sac doctrine (anything would've died to that blob - Evoke pretty much proved that), they might decide to give it another try.
In all honesty, an armor drake fleet with a fuckton of ecm is a pretty nice idea - or it would be if the sac had bonuses to heavy missiles. Without those it just gets out-dpsed by a kestrel fleet.

lol is that for real? Fleet wide ecm does not work for scrubs, you need a good spread and scrubs are too retarded. Hell, it was hard enough to get spec ops ecm specialists to not retardedly jam the same targets, the average mouth breather is going to fuck it up.
I would have gone in with a HAM, close range painter/web/booster with a mwd setup which would put out at least double the dps output with cheaper rage missiles, that is if I had a burning desire to fly a Sac and as much as I love Amar ships, this isn't one I would choose to fly by choice.

Yeah, it doesn't really need the sensor booster, can fit in a AB for when you are in HAM range although you wont have the pg to put anything fancy in the last high slot if you pack a big plate and go twin prop.
I guess the goal is to use a combination of signature, range and damps/TDs to fuck long range fleets (like alpha fleet) and otherwise work like ahacs versus close range stuff. But with around 200dps per Sac and suboptimal ewar spread, this will either not kill anything and warp out or die horribly. Yours and that other person's HAM idea at least has the merit of being realistic, because this kiting sacrilege thing is retarded, even if EFT. At least the cfc duders probably made bank with all that t2 salvage

Was this recently? When jamming had extreme range it was very potent even in large fleets and we used to field tons of falcons but because of the range now they are extremely vulnerable to snipe fleets. Most ecm ships aren't the most durable ships going around either, crappy ravens could dual volley a falcon at 250km. With jamming now it is a balance between coverage and how much dps you leave exposed against you.
I'd be interested in the types of setups they used.
I think the problem nowadays is there is a lot of rock/paper/scissor fleets commonly used like a drake fleet or armour hac, these either do brilliantly well or are totally useless. Rather than make asinine ship layouts like the Sac one take some really nice balanced fleets that perform a role well, ie take a good long-range or short-range setup and take a good balance of ecm or reps or whatever the fuck you want to do just don't turn every ship into a crappy try to perform every role shitly clone type of setup.
Sacs are great solo/small gang but WITH HAMS and not IN FLEETS
Well, if you're going to dual prop fit them may as well take full advantage of it and stuff a scrambler and a web in the mids. That last high slot is a bit of an irritation then again, as you are trying to burn in close you can fairly easily stick a small neut in there. Not so great as a medium of course but a trillion times easier to make use of when your fleets fit with it rather than a few hundred tracking disruptors.
Yeah, MM should have a point mandatory on any close range setup given how terrible we historically were at stopping anything from running off, the more practice the merrier.
The one i thought about had a web in it, I didn't have a scrambler though. If you dropped from a 1600mm t1 plate to a 800mm t2 plate you would have the pg to go nuts and not have to fit expensive t1 mods. Would lose a bit of ehp which is the only negative. You would feel it more in smaller scale fights.
I am not sure it needs an AB though, given the distance you will be at to have the web/scramb going I am not sure the AB will add a lot. If you ditch the AB and drop from an 1600mm to 800mm t2 you can fit a medium t2 neut and run it with the tp, web and scramb at 70% capacitor (without the mwd running). Would put out about 540ish dps with dps damage drones.
That could be quite fun to fly around although the user skill level to execute a close range setup is much higher though.

Well it's not so much for the pointing exactly as stopping them from MWDing away from you and letting you AB around to your hearts content while you slaughter every logistics ship they have due to webs for everyone. The AB is, basically, there to give you more tank ala the armor Hac ideal. It's not as if the Sac has a gigantic sig radius. It's 15 higher than the zealot while being generally a little bit faster than the same AHAC fit with hopefully better resists and more ehp generally.
Fitting wise what i worked out was hilariously tightly fit. Something like .5 grid left over but the bigger issue i actually found was CPU rather than PG.
Anyway, before we start efting more. Point is a Sac fleet isn't entirely insane and could, in fact, work. Just.. not with those freaky weird fits.

As you have seen Test and Goons want to play around in Delve. So make sure in the pocket we have, Do not have anything major expensive in them systems. Ratting ships fine, However when we took them, We wernt bound by them stations. This hasnt changed.
So to be clear. No major expensive assets in the MM constellation in Delve. Move anything needed into NPC stations. This doesnt mean we will lose them or not fight for them, Fun times ahead is what I say!!!

Armour hacs are as dead as the 100km fleet bs they were initially created to counter.
Never fit an 800mm plate. Always fit 1600mm and find a way to compensate. You will get volleyed before you have a chance to receive an armour rep cycle.
