I agree. It may seem that CCP's 'War on LagTM' has hit the NC hardest. The old NC tactic of "lagging out a system" obviously doesn't work as good as earlier. Or so it seems at the moment at least. If NC wants to survive they have to adapt and evolve with their new situation. If I were the NC I would try to hire a proven fleet FC. It's amazing what a difference an inspiring FC with a good tactical head can make. It's the same in EVE as it is in corporate real-life or sports. Everybody has their price. He could re-organize their entire fleet organization in a month or two. Made their PvP'ers train for the correct ships/skills and made them used to following commands in the heat of battle. NC needs a new mindset. They need to learn how to think differently more than anything. The old thoughts doesn't work for them anymore obviously. If NC could bring their pilots up to only a sub-par level their numerical superiority would crush pretty much anything.

However:
1. It's too late for NC to overhaul their organization in the middle of a cascade.
2. NC leadership is too arrogant to admit or give up leadership of their fleet. I suspect they think they're good at this game.

I know of several candidates which could've worked wonders with the amount of resources the NC got. Luckily the NC is way too arrogant to listen to my advice. My payment will be in massive negreps I assume. Besides if NC dies EVE will be a better place anyway.

The DRF should consider this as the basis for their next propaganda about the takeover of NC space. The video's a near-parallel of the whole campaign. Just replace "Highway Division" with DRF and "Dead whale" with NC and it all makes sense.
