I think its less about BDeal and more about how regardless of who's in charge, if you take the Rupture/Posprey fleet on 1:1 you'll lose most or all of your fleet before killing it.
It's a solid doctrine, i'd suggest it to Kula and Imperian but I don't know what channels to find them on

Sov is boring and annoying it just turns the game into a job, makes you run around fueling all kinds of shit or emptying silos or getting crap into your space for legions of J4G's. After the sov nerf (anom nerf) you can even make more isk doing missions now I can't see any reason to hold space anymore unless you want to moon mine and RMT isk or want to build supers/titans.
