There should be some kind of agreement that when an alliance was left with nothing to be connected with its creators or ends up being ran by morons unrelated to the morons who created it and it resembles nothing similar to that, it would be renamed or disbanded.

Fatal Ascension and Fidelas constans are legitimately nothing like the original alliances when they first started, basically they carry the name the original founders decided on and nothing else.

I lost three drakes today. Thousands are bought and sold daily in Jita; my determination is slowed but not stopped.

I lost my cool and shat the bed multiple times. I also wasn't informed of the -A-/RED gang next door until they were on top of the fleet.

However I've regrouped myself. Next time you won't be so fortunate, Canaris. I can absolutely assure you this.

Just to address a few points in the BR you posted on the TEST forums, my 100 man fleet was not baiting for any -A-/RA fleet. The 20 -A- dudes were in my fleet, and the 15ish? RA fleet actually showed up... and shot us. We lost 4-5 guys due to "blue" fire from them, and after warning them both in local and FC channels, we exchanged a bit of fire. One of their 'nado pilots thought it would be cute to fire a volley into my Gila. Hope he has alliance SRP.

As for our actual fight, you kept reshipping and undocking at optimal for *all* of our sentries. With drakes dying as fast as they did, there literally wasn't any thought process behind the "Sort by range, kill top to bottom". Watching one of our videos post-fight, I did see a moment where you got sentry primaried, saved by reps in deep structure, then after 1-2 more quick kills reprimaried and alphaed. First play through didn't even pay attention to the name, but second time I watched it I got a big smile out of it.

Anyways, all the hurf blurff aside, I look forward to our next fight. And my fanfest ticket.

PL lately kills alliances by working for them / with them. I unironically say they do indeed play a major role in fixing the game by showing its broken, as well as rid the game of alliances who aren't able to stand alone...just not the way you'd expect.

-A- seems to be a conundrum to many here.

We're poor and have a shitty reimbursement plan- but still manage to field sizeable t3 fleets and change doctrines as needed.
We're not tied to sov, but will make the most of it when we have it.
We are constantly called shit (and many times- we deserve it) but instead of being insulted, we've made it part of our personna.
Invading our space has often resulted in the "winner" being left in such a weakened state that they failscade shortly thereafter. And we simply get stronger and move back in.

IMO -A- is farther away from the "end game" than Goons or PL are - and because of this, it's more fun to be here. I actually think being mega rich, or having the "I win" button always available actually takes away the enjoyment of the game for some.

That's why -A- chugs along.
