Did you get any of them? That camp was garbage.
Let me tell you about that IRC camp in M-O...
Well let me start at the proper point in the story. When I logged in today I was in Cobalt Edge. I had clone jumped the night before in the hopes that I could fire sale the metric shit ton of crap I still have down there. Even at OMG prices, nothing has come off the market. I'm cursing my bad luck and lack of market activity as my dog looks up at me, tilting his head hoping that hears the words "Treat" "Ball" or "Park"
And then I notice that Local is empty. Odd for these parts. Usually at this time of day there are at least half a dozen dudes carebearing away. So I pull my cloaky hauler off the market along with everything else and figure I'll just take it out myself.
Fail. I forgot I wasn't welcome in these parts anymore. "Fuck it." I say to myself, and load all the good stuff into the hold along with a full fit for the hauler if I happen to make it to NCP space. I can't count the number of times a ship has slipped right though an IRC fleet due toOriginally Posted by Aura

Seventeen jumps later I'm in Venal docked and putting a cloak on my ship. So far I hadn't seen a soul. And lucky for me I made it to the NPC station because just a few gates later I managed to avoid a small camp who had failed to bring a dictor. Cloaky Hauler 1, Gate Camp 0.
And then I hit M-O and find ~90 in local. Scattered about the gate I just jumped into are about 20 ships. None of them are dictors/hictors and no bubble goes up. I warp to a bookmark off the Taisy gate and see that they have used no less than 15 mobile bubbles on it. Here sits the rest of the fleet. I'm surprised to find that it's IRC.
No wonder Cobalt Edge was empty.
But then when I look at the way things are set up, I should have known it was IRC all along. The fleet composition couldn't be more random. The only ship present in any majority are drakes. Most of the fleet is inside thier own mess of bubbles so if suddenly a, say Goon fleet, jumps in their going to be fucked trying to get out. And as I watch all 20 guys from the other gate trickle in like retards that heard the word "cookie."
Looking at the names in fleet I know who the FC is and the good money says I don't see him on the overview because he's in a steath bomber. None the less I type some friendly banter into Local. And, true to IRC, there is no response. "What, not even a wave for your old mate?" I get one o/ and I figure that's all I'm going to get. I try to convo the FC to see what they are up to but no response. Either he was afk or just too good to talk to someone who left the fold. Slowly I putter my way 230km to the gate. Weaving around the fleet my closest call is 8km.
My parting shot in local: "You all realize that a bunch of reds are going to show up and ruin your day, right?"
In the end the trip was worth just under 300 mil.
Skip the spoiler, TL;DR: With the loss of 4 FC's in as many months and without the guiding hand of Phreeze, IRC is slipping. Hard. And to think that they had almost been on the same calibre as TEST.

so I figure I'll just waltz on out of here.
