I don't see that happening either. :3

RDN are only +5, and they mostly do their own thing at the moment. I don't know how much BFFing there is at the leadership level.
As for Gents I don't think they're really on the radar of the average INIT. member as either good or bad. Again, leadership attitudes might be different, but I don't see why it's impossible that we might temp-blue them for a specific op or campaign. Historically, we've never been above dealing with previous opponents; really it's pretty much only RA and XiX who are on our foreverwar list.
It's also possible that RDN might blue them for some campaign that we're not really involved in, I suppose; at the moment we're mostly focused on a desperate attempt to bring down Dramiel & Cynabal prices.
Foreverwar on RA would be going a bit far imho. They backstabbed us and took ibiza when we were busy with Tek Enetheru and his pets who kicked us out of catch eventually. We returned the favour and taught them to call the batphone faster next time if they want to keep their big toys.
It seems like they were bad students.
Initiative. are faggots, JUST SO YOU KNOW.
If you're in ED:
It's not our fault you let us trap you in a station.
It's not our fault you keep undocking your fleet into us and letting us massacre you.
If you're in THORN:
I'm sorry you guys keep getting shot at as you're on your way to reinforce the fleet. For what it's worth, it's probably grunt pilots not paying attention to the larger picture.
Yeah, basically INIT. is being gay and not setting 401K's ~bros~ blue, because they like to get cheap kills as they're moving towards our fleets.
Anyway, Battle Report for the night so far:
BR Docta
We've anchored SBU's across Scalding Pass, and they were getting shot by IMPERIAL REGION. We were forming up when the IMP-L SBU-shooting Drake fleet was attacked by SONE, who promptly got raped. We jumped in on IMP-L, and killed a bunch of stuff. Our only Dictor died pretty quick, and our Lach pilots could only keep so many things on the field at once. We had some range problems again, as AlphaNerd couldn't keep us in range of the Drakes. Anyway, so they warped off to station after round one.
We set up a bubble, and began a camp. They mass-undocked, and we scored some more kills as they burned away. Again, we couldn't keep them bubbled or pointed, and they warped off after suffering heavy losses.
We camped the station a bit more, and almost shat our pants when what we thought to be a TEST Cyno Rapier warped into us. He was just a normal Rapier, however, so we popped him and smacked in local.
Good job to Imperial Legion for bringing fights while still getting owned repeatedly.
init is gay b/c they won't blue people?
Ron Mexxico - Broski North
Helios Black > not mad ron
Whelp. Sorry. I don't speak for INIT leadership or anything, so I don't know why TJA and Thorn aren't being blued. But the fact that INIT was in that fleet, but other INIT pilots were shooting the reinforcements for that fleet seems pretty uncool. I'm sure they didn't know the situation though.
All in all, it was a helluva fun fleet. Alpha's voice doesn't make my ears bleed anymore, which is another plus.
Hi NC. Was nice to see you in local again. We now have an over/under going on when we see BL down here.
hot damn
dat op
Good job m8
Why Curse anyway?

I don't quite understand why Eve Uni thought this was a good idea.
As if eve uni has a reputation for good ideas.

Can someone explain to me what's happening with this clusterfuck of standings in Curse?
401K resetting INIT. I, for one, am excited.
Basically, we moved down to Curse with Raiden. and INIT. blue so that they could give our EU'ers stuff to do. Long story short, they're both inactive as fuck (though apparently planning to restart activity by deploying North alongside Solar), so all we saw of them were a few gatecamps and some self-starters joining our Muninn fleets. INIT. refused to blue THORN/Jagged, who are working with us, and they would gatecamp between our fleet and our staging system to pick off THORN/Jagged reinforcements. This was extra gay, because we had INIT in fleet with THORN/Jagged dudes. Apparently they didn't let up on picking off our friends, so they're getting the boot.
I relish the opportunity to solo-pwn their gatecamps in my battle Deimos.

P.S I'm in your irc sapping your dispensers![]()
Except that's not quite the case; let me clear something up here: A few weeks ago INIT. started getting bombarded with convoes requesting blues, informing that Jagged, Retirement and Thorn were coming to Curse to join the campaign with INIT./RDN. Of course this was complete news to us as we are currently chilling for the most part and have no campaign running with RDN. Speaking to RDN it became evidently clear that they too had no secret campaign either, and whomever you guys had spoken to in RDN were not representing RDN leadership whatsoever.
I took great pains to explain this to multiple reps from Thorn, Retirement and Jagged on multiple occasions, advising not to deploy to Curse on this basis until this whole misunderstanding had been sorted out (and until then, no standings would be given). As things stood, standings had already been given to Retirement when they switched from BANE (who were already blue as part of the Northern RDN contract). Those standings were not intended to be kept unless we were going to be working jointly on a campaign.
INIT. policy to blues is the same as it has always been; unless we are doing a joint campaign, or have a strategic relationship (whatever the fuck that is), then we will not set blues (it's nothing personal). The move of Retirement Club, Jagged and Thorn to Curse to 'join the campaign with INIT./Raiden' on this basis was ill advised and some people have gotten a bit butthurt about the standings issues. This has also been confused as RDN are chilling in Curse and have temp blue from ourselves, whose standings with you guys are not aligned with ours causing more issues.
Not being blue does not prohibit doing joint ops and having good pvp either with or against each other; this is how we operated all through 2011 with bros Gypsy whilst fighting each other and teaming up to shoot RA. Given that the campaign pretext turned out to be a hoax, we spoke with Zeroniss (who was very cool about it all) and agreed a reset for tonight at midnight.
That's all there is to it.
great this already dumb thread has descended into an essay writing contest between Evolution and Sister Bliss over trivial shit no one cares about
It's pretty clear that we need some Harvey posts to bring this thread back on track.
Evolution/Shiva vampire crew went bot huntin' in Insomother this morning/night. We saw a couple ratting carriers and 10 hulk characters named HULK001, HULK002, HULK003...HULK010, so we pretty much reported everyone for botting.
After checking out one particularly dead-end system, however, we found our way back camped by SOLAR spacevikings. They had Drakes on the gate plus a Broadsword who had bubbled up. We only had one Scimi with us, as the other was cloaked in a Sanctum awaiting the return of a Thanatos. My coward instincts kicked in, and I was preparing to flee (after all, everything I read on Kugu talks about how good SOLAR is), but I was told to man up, so we began the engagement with our second Scimi in warp. Our first Scimi was almost through shields when help arrived to rep him up. The first primary I had called ('Cane to keep neuts off of Scimis) had died, and we began to switch to a nearby Drake, when suddenly, an all Minny-jammer Falcon uncloaked and began to jam out our Scimis. His strategy might have proven successful had he not begun to MWD towards us.
After dispatching him, we finished off the Drakes and continued home.
Battle Report
Two jumps out of home, our scout reported an INIT Loki and Scorpion Navy Issue about to crossjump us. We let the Loki go, cuz crazytank, but we were able to tackle the now Navy Scorp and kill him before he could return to gate. I didn't get on the killmail, because I was on the other side of the gate watching for INIT reinforcements (and to tackle him if he made it back).
Navy Scorp
If you ever want to stop by, Curse is alive with small-gang, as GENTS has been mostly off the radar. So yeah, good times.
Some short scraps have happened so far today. Our EUTZ was harrassing IMP-L to keep them off of our SBU's, but they finally undocked a fleet our bombers couldn't safely harass, so we pinged Jabber and formed up a 15-Muninn + Support fleet. We cyno'd onto them, and caught a respectable number due to pr0 bubbling. In this first engagement, we actually only lost Heretic to a late bombing run.
http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=8269
With IMP-L hiding in their POS, we worked to whittle down the IHUB a bit with some heavy support. A GYPSY Cyno Rapier uncloaked and blew his load, however, forcing the heavies to warp off We leeroyed onto the cyno at 0 to clear dictors, which proved to be a not-so-great idea, as the caps warped off just fine. Gypsy Band had much more support than we did, so after clearing dictors, we worked to extricate ourselves, though at the loss of 3 Muninns, AlphaNerd's Huginn, and a Scimi.
http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=8271
After Gypsy Band left system, we returned to the IHUB, but ended up having a Chimera drive-by DD'ed by an Avatar.
http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=13772347
Gypsy can hold us at bay during our weak timezone, but I'm sure the coming USTZ will bring us success.
PS- I got to use Channel Command for the first time, being the Scimi anchor, and it was exciting, because I felt really cool saying "local niner-niner this is Stevie-2-4, do you copy, over?" Are there any MilSim clans in Eve?
Hrmmm We have been active. I guess what you haven't seen in the last 24h is us hot dropping destroyers
Shagpo - at least link your killboard not Dotlan kill stats - i mean wtf is that?
USTZ started picking up around 2230. I arrived late but missed little as the hostiles were already quite demoralized. We managed a handful of kills including 8 of various frigs (mostly hounds), Naga, drake, rook, blackbird...and oh my those fits.
A 20-something NEXUS? rifter/blackbird gang popped into RYC and was heading for us until their scout landed and died horribly. Then they ran.
We left when everything was rf'd, again.
On the way home we got well and truly bombed by True Reign. They dropped a dictor bubble on our out gate about 30 off, inline with in-gate and were all perched ready to drop. Admittedly, I was headset off, occasionally turning from Breaking Bad (wife and I are trying to catch up before new season starts), warping and jumping. Didn't want that bomber anyway.
PS:Also won a free bomber in a raffle during fleet so \o/
kzf station should be coming out of reinforce soon...curious to see how that goes
I did feel for the 20 bombers that were reffing the TCU. That's shitty stuff in a full alpha fleet, could only imagine doing it with 20 bombers
Need more Scimis and less shitty shit in those Mewwnin fleets bro. I heard Elo is in the market to give lessons.
Oh yeah more mewwins brah. Can never have too many.
Really just needs more dudes in general tbh.
It's called EUTZ in a mostly USTZ set of alliances guise.
So yesterday during EUTZ seemed a bit rough. Apparently all the SP/WC pets came down along with Gypsy and fought the [necessary] fight. I got on early USTZ to find the last of the SBUs in KZF being attacked ~160 in local. Alpha took a bomber fleet up and we bombed killing 14 BC and losing 4 bombers in process. Sadly, being so early USTZ and with Euros kinda tired that sapped the necessary numbers from our bomz.
Can't link a BR as it's cluttered to hell and gone. We killed a bunch of pointless drakes. Some active drakes, some SPR drakes, and an occasional actual sorta PVP fit drake. Coupla bitch fit tornadoes which I can only assume were meant to try and counter bombers.
They actually had the means to counter us very effectively on grid but were apparently too ill-informed, inexperienced, or afraid to use it.
In RYC I'm not sure what happened after logging for some TV and manly domestic duties but, in any case, RYC has also had it's SBUs downed.
Oh well, here's to hoping for better fights in the coming week! Just think of us in the same terms governments do terrorists. You (SP residents) have to be right every time, we only have to be right once![]()
