CCP have been waiting for the free market to balance the tech out, assuming that the market will find a ceiling for T2 and thus find a ceiling for tech. Either their math was wrong on how high tech would rise before reaching that ceiling, or their assumptions about what people would pay for T2 were wrong. Having tech king is not necessarily bad, having one moon produce 400+ mil a day is probably not wanted nor predicted by CCP.

Until there is any news of either a manufacturing or moon resource change, Tech will stay high with the current manipulation.

Regardless of whatever advantage Infinite Space Bux would give you, unless you kept actively replacing ye olde guarde with new blood you'd fall to someone new and hungry as older players become apathetic. The hungry new guys who used to live in ALL THE REST OF 0.0 THAT IS NOT A GLIMMERING MOONGOLD EMPIRE aka the space not worth holding. The idea is in it's essence what we have now, but compressed and sped up creating the kind of environment that p.much everyone has been asking for in 0.0. well Shadoo's drake army outnumbered -A- pretty well (around 2,5:1, but not sure), but at least 1 goon drake got sacrificed for the cause of the holy tech. The eve-kill br is pretty fucked up, because i think most of the guys couldn't even get to shoot the enemy, but there was 110ish -A- and local was around 350ish (give or take 20).

But seriously, re-balance moons. Don't need to get rid of tech, but balance the others up a bit so there is some ISK to be had by owning the middle ground, so that the middle-ground alliances have some reward form their efforts of claiming sov other than just renting it back out.

Lol @ the guy who said AAA should get gem/vale moons. They are all held by OTEC (or whatever its called) didn't you know.
