You have to respect how AAA will just grind a opponents will to play to bits. With what everyone says is subpar fleet comps. Will be fun to watch as the tables turn against DRF when the grind becomes tedious.

This first battle went heavily into our favor. Most distinctive parameter was the complete lack of lag.
I cycled through the targets with my mighty killmail-whoring sentries with absolutely no problem.
Quite impressive!

HED-GP's iHub doesn't come out of reinforced before another 1:45h, so there's plenty of time for engagement #2.
It's unfortunate, but I have to go to bed now, half of the DRF isn't gonna feed itself alone!
Daroh > I've bought a telescope, watching you guys fly in eve from my place )))
Can someone from the -A- crew explain why you're going with Armageddons? Is it because they are half the price of a Abbadon and makes it easier to lose then it's big brother?
Armageddons work fine when there's not 20 titans eating through the fleet.
Daroh > I've bought a telescope, watching you guys fly in eve from my place )))
lmao yeah that would have been me \o/ Fight needed moar titans imo. I nearly had that Levi.
So 12 titans and 20 superz in the fight for HED-GP 10 August Edition for DRF.
Perhaps FC Maka can fork over some Aurum to buy some luck, lost another Loki. Either that or he forgot his had a cloak on that thing.
Either AAA will be praying to the EvE gods that DRF falls asleep/logs or they will reship to valiantly charge their subcaps into the teeth of the DRF super fleet.
Rumor has it the bat phone in Delve, Period Basis and Omist is ringing....
Let me tell you about hiring black legion

Goons have the ability to hit-especially with Raiiden deploying next week. That means NC. and Raiiden both deployed with supers to hold DRF hands in T-R.
Goons will not hit DRF space, as they "don't want to get on the bad side of DRF" - that is word for word, not just my own speculation
So, to those who are talking about -A- not deploying supers because they are "faggots and anuchs"-at least they had the stones to hit DRF with the full expectation of retaliation in the future. Mittani is pro at playing the fence and staying alive, this time its no exception. CCP can nerf supers all they want-it won't matter, whatever is the strongest shiptype/formation/tactic in the game next the DRF will have more than enough isk to afford it and buy the shit out if it.
“Isn't it funny how the mood can be ruined so quickly by just one busted condom”
Maybe the next FOTM will require skill.
ohwait
Either Mittens "knows" DRF wont' hit him and he won't hit them, and once -A- is dealt with the whole 0.0 block is DFR and Friends already...
Or
Mittens "thinks" DRF won't hit him BFF or something, but after DFR are done with -A- they will deal with Goons and friends and then the whole 0.0 block will be DFR friendly..
You decide
It's not DRF that goons are afraid to hit, you are afraid to hit WN. Everybody does. Even DRF are afraid. We got unique situation, half of the eve side with WN cause they are afraid of them, another half of eve side vs WN for very same reason. Mittani too, he has no choice but to stay aside of it. He just won't get enough allies to deal with WN, especially in long term.
-A- didn't seem to afraid of hitting WN, albeit they did it while they were deployed but they knew damn well what that meant when they were done up North.
TojanMan made a good point in that DRF will be able to buy out the next "I win button" after they nerf supers with all the tech income they receive.
We can play some time. I'm Dental FIoss in game. Note the I instead of L.
Key to Lux is staying at the back of team fights, leading people with your snare, and never being afraid to KS as much as possible. Once you get down to 1-3 deaths per game, just go total glass cannon and get Mejai's. It's usually a toss up between Mejai's and Rod of Ages, but honestly, if I'm getting killed enough to not be able to justify my Mejai's, we're probably going to lose anyway considering how defensive I play.
Oh, also, with Lux's combo, I used to snare, auto attack for proc, light ball, auto attack for proc again, then try to hit with ult, but I'd miss half the time as they ran at angles. I realized that once you get good at predicting their movements, best way to go is just snare and drop the light ball immediately before the snare has even reached them. Then drop ult and pop the light ball once the red line appears but before the laser actually goes off. Works much better, and if they're not dead, they'll probably die to the auto attack proc, so just flash in and finish that fucker off if you need to.
Edit: Sorry forff-topic: but then again, this is kugu where any thread can turn into Game of Thrones references, discussion on super caps, or why Goons/Test/PL/NC/Tri/DRF are terrible at a moment's notice.

I am still a little bummed though. I was on comms and BL was getting ready to roll... and I had to go to work. (Clearly, I am a spy. No clue who for, but I'm taking damn good notes.)
I really doubt anyone in this game is afraid to do anything. Starting a [S]war[/S] mess is less about fear and more about timing and convenience. And speaking of convenience, since Raiden will be away that means less reds between Goons and an IRC punching bag.

-A- did attack WN when NC was alive, Venal coalition didn't exist yet and it didn't look like NC gonna fall at all. -A- and NC made an agreement, -A- help NC now and NC help -A- later when WN turn their wraith to -A-. Didn't work out and now there is nobody to open a second front vs WN.
And then -A- leadership was blinded by possibility to extend their botting empire and to destroy WN supers in build, thus augmenting isk value and increasing their RMT income.
Third reason is -A- didn't expect DRF alliances to stay together for long time. When DRF was formed as it is now, XIX/Solar/RED + WN, there have been many talks that leaders of those alliances won't be able to tolerate each other for long time. Russian alliances have long history of shitting among themselves. It's enough to say that most of existing russian alliances were once part of RED and separated unsatisfied with current leadership. But I think -A- underestimated how much DRF leaders are afraid of Psihozz.
You forget that for many people in eve it's not about game, it's about real money. All major alliances in eve starting with DRF to -A-, goons and dead NC are/were corrupted with RMT. Believe me people get afraid when it goes about their money. And while macrobotters don't have much to be afraid of, they'll reach agreement with any alliance that currently holds claim, alliance leaders depend strongly on claim to get profit.
When you mean -A- and their botting empire, surely you mean ROL, right right, nudge nudge.
Every big alliance, DRF-goons-A-whatever have botters and macrobotters operating on its territory. Those are very rich in eve terms people able to influence political situation, finance wars etc. Rumors tell -A- comeback from NPS regions was financed by macrobotters, same there are rumors RED attack on Atlas was also financed by macrobotters (other version xDeath financed it). Leading a war costs shitton of money, all those ship compensations, claim structures/POSes and supercap fuel easily make 50+bln in month for mediocre alliance, and this doesn't include supercap development programs and supercap compensations. The only difference between alliances is how close are those macrobotters to taking decisions in alliance, how much control does alliance leadership has over botters operating on its territory. ROL is just an example of alliance where alliance leadership and macrobotters have merged very close together.
I'm confused, who are the evil botters in this war?
I think the only evil side in these wars are CCP - the tech balance, the good space/bad space sanctum nerf, the JB nerf...all this 'rebalancing for conflict creation' is good if we started from a blank slate, but what they really did was put more power into the hands of the few powerful coalitions.
And then one of those coalitions ate the other one, and so now any rebalance will still favour the current regime, because as previously stated, DRF will have enough isk to buy whatever the next i-win button is. You could nerf supers back to zero, but that won't nerf their wallets or their sov, bots and rental empires.
Thats why CCP are bringing out the new Winter Expansion : EvE - Black Monday. Evil sansha incursions invade the SSC's bank vaults. Patch notes include:
- Wallet rebalance - all wallets get reset to zero
- Super Rebalance - Fighterbomber pilots demand regular wages or they revolt and shoot their own carrier.
- Drone Region rebalance - rogue drone AIs learn how to finally deal with that single ratting carrier and all spawn at once.
- Agent rebalance! - Several commit suicide after being 'downsized' from their failing corporations
- Corporation Fees New Feature! - Alliances must now file 10 page per 100 member tax returns every quarter, larger the alliance, larger the tax from concord.
Even if the NC held the line it wouldn't have mattered, they would have stopped their advance after Geminate and DRF still would have deployed down south. All this talk about whats going on in -a- leadership makes me laugh, as most people in -a- leadership have no idea whats going on anyways![]()
“Isn't it funny how the mood can be ruined so quickly by just one busted condom”
Clearly you've never been ratting for drone poo in a carrier. We spawn as many as possible because, unless you have no skills at all, you can tank a shit ton of drones. It's killing them all that takes so damn long.
Easy, buddy. Put the tinfoil down. The men with the nice white jacket are your friends.
