Things like this happen when you get too comfortable. Hats off to the FW guys for no fucks given about their dreads they knew they were gonna loose.
If only shadoo were more like them then there would have been a massive super fight already.

The fit and the circumstances of the crash are. Dudes have been gatecamping for 2 weeks now in Amamake which in itself hasn't been fun to me since 2006 so the whole thing is
to me. TBH I'm glad im not a CEO anymore because even though this was bound to happen I think I would still purge on the principal. It is however Ironic that this scenario is exactly what Grath and others have been trying to relate to people in Eve who cry about Titans.
Simple fact some dreads + crashed / separated Titan/SC = Dead Titan/SC for the cost of insurable easy to replace dreads. Herocats could illicit the same result as well in more numbers. For someone like Goons this seems pretty simple when every strat op you can put up 500+ easy. 400 dudes in your main fleet concepts 100 dudes in a "DEATH2ALLSUPERS" concept (dread/herocats lots of dic/hic). The reason why Team Tech always brings titans is " CFC has shown little to no application of counters". This Titan nerf changes nothing we will still be there blapping every time until you figure out how to adapt and do what you say is impossible. Funny that lil FW guys can make it happen but its beyond the reach of 25000 man coalition laden in tech moons controlled by the "King of Space".
As always this is the reason why people like Grath call "Bullshit" when claims are made that Titans can't be killed within a blob of supers. Every time supers are used there will always be a crashed/misfit/separated Titan/Titans. Instead of taking advantage of that fact removing the hubris in which we "Team Tech" have in spades you simply march forward to your death over and over. Expecting that your superiority in shear mass of numbers will win the day. Numbers aren't everything and they shouldn't be that why Titans are awesome. However Titans aren't instant win buttons either as illlustrated over and over everytime things like the last incident clearly illustrates.
What, that killmail comes as a surprise to you?
For anybody interested contact Tweetybird in game.
According to EVENews 24, a reliable reporting source, Tweetybird ...well, let me put in print exactly what he said:
Certainly sounds legit to me.The forums are an outdated version of vBulletin with many known and 0-day vulnerabilites. I am a penetration tester for a large banking corporation and know my way around. I got myself into their IRC channel #minusten and was able to view any forum I chose.
I would like to caution potential buyers, his intel seems to be a bit spotty, things like
That he alleges came from our IRC never actually happened, perhaps, since he's such an elite spymaster and programing wiz he must be confusing us with one of the countless other groups he's probably spying on./notice #minusten ALL ?UPER AND TITAN PILOTS GET ON COMMS FOR A MEETING
Then theres this...
I can't tell how to spend your money, and I know some people have been asking for the next PL forum mirror, so, heres the guy you talk to evidently if you want to read our forums and IRC.[00:53:18] Tweety Bird > tell Captain Thunk to update vBulletin to 4.1.11 and stop displaying version numbers on the forums. Don't use nulled vb mods either and stop running ircd on a windows machine.
He's, uh, getting into an irc channel, and through that, is able to read the forums.
Interesting setup.

There are a lot of people trying to claim credit on why we did this op, but the real story is actually quite simple. Last time PL was in Amamake camping gates we got annoyed with them constantly screwing around, there was little we could do without them showing up. After brainstorming and reading various bits of theorycrafting we initiated the old PL plan of dreads, tempests and basilisks for super killing. PL moved out before we got the chance to test it, so we waited until another opportunity - which came now as PL moved back in. ~10 days ago we started getting trusted people in order for something big, only a few people knew what we were aiming for, but most knew it would be big and were very enthusiastic about it all. It's only so much shooting Thrashers in plexes you can take until you want to do something big again. So dreads were readied and insured, we knew it would be a 1 way trip for most of them, but we wanted to show that no one is safe when they become too predictable. We didn't expect the fishing fleet, we had calculated with 5-10 minutes before their blob would hit us, instead of the 2, but things worked out as planned even with it on field.
That said - we do respect PL and we know they are masters of this game, but we wanted to do a bold move, punch beyond our weight class and wake people up to the power of dreadnaughts in numbers
Props to the old PL forum dump that got posted on kugu, which got us thinking in these lines last year, and of course our close friends in SOTF, without which this would not have worked!
You can read a BR here.
It was a good plan, I can't tell you the number of FC's and non shit players who have said "We're going to lose a super on the Ossugur gate" over the past week.
Good play though, was a solid win and yes, this is how you start to curtail titans in your area of operation.
Oh and tell that man in the Nag that you don't put LSE's on dreads.
Dude, you should totally repost that whole thing, its actually a good read.
We try and have discipline on fits, but there is always someone who slips through with a shit fit sadly - just trying to limit the amount of moronsOh and tell that man in the Nag that you don't put LSE's on dreads.![]()
The BR reposted here. FG is good at writing it up, and if you want to give props give it to him not me- though i could need the R/P

Let me start off with : WOW!
http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12761765
A combined SOTF/W-BR fleet sprinkled with [0000] guys and SOTF familiars from Gallente militia just vaporized a Pandemic Legion Erebus.
Pandemic Legion had recently moved into Amamake in-between 0.0 stints to take some down time and recharge batteries for the next big deployment. This recharging involved, just as it did last year when they were in Amamake, shooting anything that moves – in true PL fashion – with Supercarriers and Titans.
We had, as had several other entities as well, observed that they had a strong tendency to put tracking Titans onto gates for those camps. Being good friends with SOTF, and especially Lock Out, we decided that we should together do something about those cheeky gatecamping Titans.
Fits for the Dreads were cooked up, those indeed so very juicy Dreads which since the buff have become a formidable weapon, with Moros’ doing close to 15k dps at peak overheat and an overall plan of action was worked out.
The pre-drop composition was as follows:
40 Dreads
8 HICS
6 Smartbomb Battleships
20 Neuting Battleships
and various cyno-recons/covert cyno’s & scouts.
As we formed up we kept eyes in Amamake and saw a Ragnarok camping the Ossogur gate for quite a while along with 2 Nyx’s, 5 carriers at peak time and several subcaps. After getting our troops in position in 5 different systems to keep dots on the evemap as small as possible, they PL gatecamping crew warped off and took a break. During their break we had eyes on a fishing fleet of theirs which was only 1 cyno away from Amamake and decided that if a Titan returned to the gate we’d go “all-in”.
We had 3 cyno recons as well as a 750k covert cyno proteus at our disposal to get us and our subcaps into system. After a little over an hour of waiting after being formed up PL resume their gatecamping and after not too long we get a second Erebus on scan in system. We didn’t have to wait very long for it to warp to the gate.
The 3 cyno recons were instructed to position themselves 10-20 k around the Titan to allow for the 40 Dreads to jump in (pre-designated) on the different cyno’s in order to keep the bumping to a minimum and get a maximum of DPS onto the Titan straight away. The proteus on the other hand got a warp-in from the direction of the warp-out of the Titan so that the subcaps who’d be bridging in could MWD forward and bump the Titan enough to allow the HICS to get points and to keep it from aligning when the Supercarriers would start ECM Bursting.
When the Erebus was reported at 0 speed we took a deep breath, undocked all ships and got ready to jump/bridge.
When the moment came 15 seconds after undocking it happened excessively quick as one would imagine:
“CYNO UP” – “BRIDGE UP” – “DREADS JUMP JUMP JUMP” – “SUICIDE TRIAGE JUMP JUMP JUMP” – “GET ME POINTS ON THAT TITAN”
A first PL carrier is called primary and another one secondary – all neuts are spread between the carriers – points are called on the Titan and the primaried carrier just evaporates. As we lock the second carrier the PL fishing fleet, which had been 1 cyno out, cyno’ed in a first wave of 15 PL Supercarriers/Titan/Carriers and the call was made to go full bore on the Titan since it was then or never. Despite starting to be under fire of the PL counterdrop our Dreads, which were gradually going down, thundered through the shields & armor of the PL Erebus just as we had expected them to.
After the PL Erebus goes down, having decided that friday was a good a day as any to dine in hell, we proceeded to calling and melting more PL carriers. Siege was ordered red on 2nd cycle and the pilots who had a chance to escape to the out cyno had their cap boosters running full bore to get to 75% capacitor. Despite having over 100 PL Supercarriers/Titans/support in their system within 6 minutes 6 or 7 Dreads managed to cyno out before being killed. The subcaps also evacced as well as they could.
Oh and we managed to snag the Titan loot as well, props to our ninjalooters.
Victory!
Only after being docked and pilots either safe or dead did we realise what we had just done: We’d just headbutted half-gods, multiple weight classes above our own straight in the face.
What a rush! This is what makes Eve exciting!
Shout out to Lock Out and Tekitha!
Shoutout to SOTF!
Shout out to the other amarr pilots in fleet for their support!
Mad props to PL for lightning quick response time and for being superb sports about the engagement and giving out congratulations!
Please tell me there's lots of cheering as the titan goes pop. While I've been part of sufficient amounts of titan or supercarrier kills that I'm vOv about getting on a titan/supercarrier killmail, listening to people who are still actually enthusiastic about such things is still pretty![]()
I don't think it was just the titan kill which on its own is fun, but more of whos titan it is. We dropped 40 tempests on a cfc dread fleet out of bridge range of their subcaps, which killing dreads is generally fun, but sometimes, when how your doing it and who your doing it to just makes it all that much better. Props to these fw guys.
Sidenote: Sweet BR.
Muhadin/Mordeth Aridhol - Origin. - Black Legion.
A kill well deserved indeed. We've been the small guy hitting the big bad alliances for so long, we've forgotten that small groups can do amazing when they want to.
The irony is that there are quite a few alliances that advertise on forums how good, smart and organized they are, but the unfair supercap blobbers ruin their game, and yet in the end retribution comes from seemingly random assemble of lowsec corps and small alliances, who have never been stomped by the "big unstoppable blob". EVE is exciting only if you have the balls to play it right.
Mad props again for this kill. Reminds me of poor ol' Degn and PL In Delve '10![]()
First vid of the action -
As for the comments so far: We know we cannot take a full on, alert and able PL, but 1 supercap that was lazy, predictable and sub-optimal fit was believed to be a good prey. We didn't expect the fantastic response time from PL, we knew we'd lose the dreads, but believed it would be 1-2 cycles before they where on the field. On the other hand we didn't expect the fit to be so sub-optimal on the primary foe, so that evened it out somewhat![]()
I can't tell you how awesome that was, or put enough emphasis on what you just did.
Long term 0.0 residents that have bitched and moaned about what we do and how we do it haven't had the balls to even try shit like this, the last time anybody tried it, it was a huge coalition of alliances, in ROIR, but no group your size has ever made a play for it like this, and even those guys wouldn't nut up and use dreads they tried with a trillion hurricanes instead.
Mad fucking respect man, mad respect.
I wish goons would do this sort of thing more often![]()
There's nothing worse than having a good idea for a post not being good enough to pull it off :negative:
What do you think would happen when even 5 goon or -A-, or whomever isn't some nobody FW corp, dreads log in? The only reason they got away with this is because they're completely off the radar.
The only thing funnier than PL spinning their loss of a titan into a reason why other people are bad (durr vfk headshot was cool, we killed an aeon, we basically won) is the retards who lap it up.
So dumb.
so FAIL just lost most of their supers http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=12775118
Edit: two self-destructed
someone -rep him for me, I gave the +rep

I didn't say they had them watchlisted, nice strawman.
The idea that a major player can coordinate enough dreads and get them in position to take advantage of a random occurence without you guys, and numerous other alliances, knowing about it is silly.
It's ok though, you guys have probably spent the last 24 hours circle-jerking your sad spaceship egos back into place with this deluded crap, so I don't expect you to agree. In fact I expect you to be really internet indignant, so by all means carry on with your sad circlejerk crap.
I can confirm that part - as I said earlier during our initial theorycrafting we ended up on the old PL plan of dreads, tempests and basilisks, which then evolved into pure dreads and a little support after the buff. The initial op back in november/december was called "Für Elise", because of the most likely titan target and the plan itself, lifted straight off from PL
I think we made it pretty clear, this wasn't a random occurrence. It worked because it was predictable...Originally Posted by Some Market Dude

The idea is, that most people have a sandy vagina, just like yours, that speaks for them. And they are so good at tealling us why suiciding dreads would not work, they do not feel the need to backup their claims with facts from reality. The fact is that the suide dreads have been fielded 2 times that I know of en masse, both times against the two probably largest single-alliance supercapital fleets in the game, and both times were a success. But please, tell us why they do not work again.
If the CFC had pushed for poeple to get into dreads, and the pilots have personal dreads (reimbursed by alliance when lost) ready to go, how hard would it be to fill a fleet with dreads once pings goes out saying hostile titans are tackled?
Either way, spies are a metagame problem people just have to work around. Like not telling people what the dreadfleet is for, or handpicking trusted pilots for it. If faction warfare can do it, surely so can you?
Are goons really trying to say they 'could have done this, but just never wanted to'?
Anyway I like the video respect Wolfsbrigade respect. Best part is the local ammake village idiot AKA tweety brid spouting his idiotic blabbering. Then again somehow he made reverni believe he was the maker and shaker of that plan. I guess burds of a feather.....
Anyway this is a day FW pilots deserve to kickback smoke a cigar and enjoy the limelight. they earned it. Bottom line on why this worked......BALLS.

Besides. If team supers hears that a suicide dread fleet is turgid and ready, and chooses not to deploy, wouldn't that kind of be a victory? Like better dead but not used aint bad
K(awaii)ugu(u)tsumen
nice comparison there garth
PL is equal to raiden in terms of bad and if one doesnt know the other surely wont
