We weren't sure that PL and NCdot were gonna drop 35 super capitals on Nulli Secunda + 25 vera cruz. So we timed for good US tz timer and picked a fleet comp for a good fight.

When they bridged in we immediately warped to the cyno, and as soon as we landed they dropped supers, 18 titans and 17 SC's. We stuck around a bit to see if what we could do, alphaed a few tengu's that were retarded and never moved off our geddon fleet. Then we ship scanned what was reported as a tracking fit titan. He took some decent damage at first, but the difference in damage was noticeable when he refit, and with super cap reps being applied, we had to start looking to exit. Luckily they didn't have many dictors or hictors, so we were able to clear bubbles off of us and warp it with 75~ geddons remaining.

Later Goons came in a 200 man whelp cane fleet with tornados and eventually warped in on us. They did a good job of being quick with their fleet warps, and warped on us as we were warping on them, and naturally because we were double plated armor bs and they were shield bc's, bubbled a small portion of geddons and guardians that didn't warp with the rest. We warped back the rest of the fleet, and after the initial clusterfuck of resorting logi chains after a 1/3 of them had been caught and separated, we started to catch reps and finished off the goons. As goons were essentially dead, PL/NCdot bridged back in their tengu fleet and landed on grid, but weren't able to catch us as we warped out to safe pos. By that time we had only 8 logi and 50 geddons left and no loki's or other support tackle, to their 70 tengu's and 18 scimitars, so we could no longer take the fight.

The goon kills helped a bit, but overall disappointing night. Guess we will have to use drakes now vov.

I think a bombing run would cause more people to spam broadcast for reps than tracking titans but that's just my thought....

It's more that you see that orange damage indicator and think you're either getting ready to take a tengu volley or that a titan has a hard on for you. Either way, the panicked thought is to hit your broadcast button til it's resting flushly against the desk. Most people don't care to look and see if the damage was from a bomb or not. Hell... most of the damage the fleet took was from smartbombs taking out tengu missile volleys as best they could.

It was really odd shooting at the welpcanes. I must have locked and seen 30 or more get blapped, but there were always more canes on scan.

When you get to 200+ in a fleet you should name them "zergcanes."
