Three Titan killmails.
Aaaaaaand
A shrubbery.
Some stains don't come out no matter how hard you scrub.
Our maelstrom fit doesn't have any less ehp then the PL abaddon, unless you changed fits away from two heat sinks recently. I'm really curious about how time dilation will affect maelstroms vs abaddons, because while pulses benefit the most from lagfree situations, logistics will benefit the most in slowmotion. There isn't much repping possible against maels, while scimis gain a ton of power vs abaddons. We'll see!
I feel like I've read this before multiple times over the past four to five months. I guess you know better than someone that has been in the alliance for years, and so I'll stop posting perfectly reasonable replies and just let you carry on fantasizing about your most hated alliance failcascading because a single corp and a scammer that always intended on leaving are no longer with us.
I'm curious to know what your damage control will look like if we're still around over the next two months.
Should we revisit the NOL Damage Control?
While we talk about stains... what's the penance for a stint in IRC?![]()
And, what will us TESTies have to do to clean ourselves, now that we're at it?

"Every rifter counts friend" - VR
I just wasted over an hour of my life catching up, I will never get that time back. Everybody stop whining and post some battle reports already FFS
Thank you in advance!
This is the exact point I was trying to make the other day to a few of our guys. Right now, assuming the fight stays lag free, the larger the fight gets, the harder it is for logistics to catch reps on targets (against pulse abaddon fleets and other non alpha fleets etc.). Their is just so little margin for error due to the speed of which targets die, that human reaction speed and client lag generally means scimmys do not lock the targets fast enough. In time dilation, the delay caused by human reaction speeds is diminished the slower the game gets. If it took you 2 seconds to react and click on a shield broadcast, but time is dilated to be 4x slower, then that translates to only a half a second of actual game time. Meaning that many more of the logistics have time to lock and rep the target.
However Vee, this works in the exact opposite direction as well for DPS battleships, especially in large fights. Consider lock times and alpha for pulse abaddons, and for the sake of the arguement we will consider scorch volley. A 2 heatsink abaddon with solid skills volleys for 2,800 damage with scorch, and a goon maelstrom with all lvl 5 mindlinked vulture bonus's has 162k ehp vs. scorch. In theory, it takes around 60 abaddons to volley a goon maelstrom with scorch. We actually know that this is doable, its the exact concept behind our geddons, and if enough abaddons lock the target fast enough (the reason our geddons use a sebo), they will volley the target just like alpha maels volley targets. Our geddons lock battleships in 3 seconds to make up for human error and allow us to maintain pace with our rate of fire, but Abaddons actually lock battleships in 8 seconds, which means if a pilot is slow on locking the target, or falls a little behind the FC's pace, he will end up being late with his volley, and logi will be on the maelstrom already.
But, in time dilation, just like with logistics, the human reaction speed for DPS pilots will also be reduced. In normal speed fights, you will often find killmails that feature, at best, 50-60% of the enemy fleets DPS pilots on the killmail (with the other 40% either not locking the target fast enough or being to slow to activate their guns). But with the game slowed down, Players will have a much larger time window in which to lock the target and activate their guns, just like logistics will have more time to lock the broadcast, leading to a lot more alpha'ing of ships by fleet concepts that you wouldn't usually associate with being able to alpha targets.
Basically, time dilation is a buff to shitty slow pilots with poor reflex's![]()
TiDi is a boost to shitty pilots, but more-so it's a boost to shitty FCs. There's what, less than 25 decent, active FCs in this game? Looking forward to unleashing the fury of pubbie FCs
True, I have raped history, but it has produced some beautiful offspring
Correct me if I'm wrong, but regardless of time dilation, the outcome of an Alphamael vs. Hellcat battle would depend largely on the quality of the warp-ins? Hellcats shine at close range, but Alphamaels with their 1400s (even with tracking enhancers) struggle to track targets at close ranges. They may still hit their target, but is the full damage of the fleet going to hit?
To me it seems that Hellcats will always win close range, Alphamaels will always win long range.
That's actually not how you do that. There's a reason we have, you know, a ticker. *sigh* It's like calling Goonswarm Federation oonsw or something.
e: Seriously what's your problem though?. Anytime some goon poster needs defending you appear out of the blue leaving us with naught but a negrep and a harsh word before you leave again. Are you working like 3 jobs again?

I just rang my mum she said she didn't know your ticker either
She knew my tickler though
You and me both
god that bitch is crazy
Could a Goon please explain to me why Zungen is still trying to trick people into getting hotdropped by his Nyx? Last time he did it, people temp-blued and took it down.
I thought about checking if you were actually tankborn Caldari ingame, but I'll settle for trueborn insults and see if anyone here still gets BattleTech references.
I was sort of hoping that quoting and bolding the comments about Tounsi would send Mfume into a half hour long rage-typing session about him the way it used to (complete with extra-long gaps of time inbetween lines where he didn't realize he hit the character limit until he pressed enter and had to start typing again from the middle).
I can't recall most of the specifics, but a few instances stand out.
Once was when I was in TVN running an escalation in my Oneiros when a Tounsi HD went up for a few PL running around doing "stuff". I hope on comms and warp to the station. There is a bubble with a SB camping inline with the station that just so happens to catch me. Tounsi explodes into a rage saying "YOU SEE I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU DO NOT WARP TO THE STATION! YOU SEE THAT ONEIROS?! HE'S DEAD! DON'T HELP HIM! DO. NOT. WARP. TO. THE. STATION. I SAID IT!" (or words to that effect) while I calmly aligned to an asteroid belt, put out ECM drones, and waited to get a cycle before I collected my drones and warped off safely. Me extracting myself however had no effect on his disposition as he continued screaming about it for 10-15 more minutes.
Or another time where out of the blue he started screaming at the fleet while we sat on a titan. It was basically him, a captive audience, and a Bruce Banner-like rage about people not listening to commands in fleet. This was before we had even seen a hostile or crossed a single gate. If you have been in one of those MAGE titan sitting ops you'd know how bad it can be to sit there for hours listening to nothing except the occasional cough followed by someone declaring "BATTLE COMMS" and sometimes punctuated by the FC telling everyone to STFU because he can't hear all his other channels.
Yeah that kinda summarises the Tounsi experience for me and a lot of other people in RAGE (once you turn it into a twice a week thing).
I don't know anymore why I hate Tounsi. I just know that I do and at some point it was well justified.
I've noticed that there's a pretty big disconnect between the general consensus of kugu and what's actually happening. It seems enough people have said it in this thread that people are taking it as fact.
Think it had something to do with warping away and leaving our drones behind perhaps?
Was either him or Tokimi.
I don't know limits or boundaries, but others do..so I push em till I get what I desire
i still get mad, but not mad enough to max out the in-game character limit without realizing it
(it was probably the 4th time i had to hear the "ABSOLUTE FLEET DISCIPLINE!" speech before going on to lose the fight that did it for me)

If I forget thee, O Goonfleet dot com, let my right hand forget her typing.
now you are just trying to ruin a perfectly good discussion mr goon.
One fleet of 200 bs will always beat 3 fleets of 66 bs simply due to human error, communications etc etc.
This has been proven about 500 times so nobody really argues about that v0v
Im not saying you guys are useless blobbers, although i do think dbrb is, im just saying there are beter fleet setups then the maelstrom fleet, hellcat fleet being one of them. Rokh fleet being another. Dont get so offended, its just a fleet m8.
