Heh... Didn't know kugu was mittens' website. Regardless, it's intriguing to see k.com cited as a source.

The facts have a strong anti-A- bias.
I was actually really excited about the collaboration because she's genuinely awesome at her work. Unfortunately CCP is a bunch of uncreative faggots and they ended up doing like zilch instead of having an internationally recognized fashion pr0 design the whole wardrobe.
I mean, as someone who likes a nice set of clothing IRL, this would be baller as hell.
I bolded the part that made me drop all roles in every alliance/corp/etc in every game. Creating content takes fuckloads of le efforte, and it burns me right the fuck out. I just want to gouge a motherfucker's eye out, preferably while looking sexy as hell. Why is that such a fucking problem?
[Arrador] possesses a considerable understanding of ship configurations, strengths and weakness. He gives clear and purposeful instructions, is good at taking advantage of the fleet-composition he's dealt, and never loses sight of the main goal: fun. This, paired with an excellent tolerance for strong drink gives him an almost Churchillian capability to win, despite being completely pissed on booze most of the fleet operation.
I agree, it is a terrible fucking game. It needs to be less of a pain in the dick to do everything so that content generating madmen don't burn out and die.
Well, it's not just that doing things sucks dicks. It's also the constant fucking naggity nagging from corp mates. "We want an op!!! OMG WHY U NO ON 2 RUN OP?!"
Fuck yourselves, run your own fucking op you lazy cunts.
You have to have a little bit of give a fuck mixed with cool dudes to log in that motivate you to put in the effort. I don't have an alliance full of drama queens who create headaches for me. If any sprout up I head shot their asses.
I personally hate EVE the game itself. Everything from Role Management to POS's, I really fucking hate it. I used to love putting a fleet up and getting a bunch of drunk dudes in it for kicks. These days, after setting up over 10 pos's in the past week, I can't be fucked.
However, the people I fly with remind me every day why I log in and surrounding yourself with some half decent people will keep your motivation up to continue to put up with the horrible shit that CCP has fed us in this atrocious game we call EVE.
I've literally delegated everything I possibly can that is small and mundane to people I have faith in. I do my best to take on the shittiest tasks so that the soap opera that is EVE can be enjoyed by the majority of the duders who fleet up and chill in comms with. When you have the chance to take a break on a friday night to throw a drunken frig roam, all your shit stuff you hate doing in this game is sorted, people can genuinely enjoy the aspects of this game. You're then reminded why you do it.

Sooooooo ship spinning will be back, and a bunch of un-fuck-that-ups seem to be coming soon.

I like how this devblog sounds like sane person made it.Oh, and we have a new cyno effect. It is scheduled to be out on within a week, in WIP state, without sound. We‘re looking forward to getting your feedback on it. We‘re hoping that you‘ll be spending liquid ozone like there‘s no tomorrow for the pure joy of seeing and hearing that effect.
It is funny that they wasted so much time to only give back what we had before.

calling it now that new cyno effect generates more lag

I'm not a bittervet at all, but to me these "changes" are bullshit. It's once again them assigning someone to do 15 minutes of work on their lunch break or something before they get back cracking on WoD. They've said that they have been working on a new cyno effect for YEARS and it's still a WIP? Everything else is giving us back existing functionality. Not to mention that they managed to miss the fact that people don't care about the turret models because they look like ass and are hard to distinguish from one another, but that it's nearly impossible to see various shades of DARK BROWN AGAINST A BLACK BACKGROUND.
I hope they plan on changes more than this to try to stave off the negative publicity.
What will the new cyno effect do? (non-intended effects)
1) A bug will make it possible to jump to non-fleet cynos!
2) 10-to-1 that it will screw up the overview.
3) No all cyno-ships will have the new effect, just mods built after the update (in fact, this would actually make sense, scratch that)
4) High-Sec cynos! For the first few hours after client update, expect a lot of hotdrops in high sec, till CCP takes the client down for a week to fix it.
5) Jumping supercaps for a fight, all supercaps end anywhere but the intended destination. Expect supers trapped in wh's (this would actually fix the game).
You'd get fewer negreps if you stopped using "poast" instead of "post", for starters.
Please.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
When has the overview worked?
I'm honestly trying to remember a time when the overview wasn't borked in one way or another.
Sort of like the "normal" setting on the terrorist alert chart. We've never been on normal. We've been somewhere between "HOLY FUCK GET A HELMET ON AND TAKE COVER" to "That guy over there... he's got a bomb in his bellybutton."
Really, what is "normal" anymore?
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

By the way, as long as CCP is doing the absolute bare minimum of work to keep it's playerbase from destroying their corporate reputation. Can someone get them to change logistics' warp speed from 3.00 to 3.75 in this next patch too?
