Just my opinion... but I thought it was funny when they jumped in, expecting us to rescue them, and they QQing about it as we passed on. Honestly I just wanted to see how well they would do, obviously against the heavily outdated baddy fleet with prelocked reps (and the ability to locked rep requiring ships in under a second) they didn't do so well.
Also, it fuels my tear tank to listen to Nulli cry and whine, then retort with what a few of the half-witted followers on their comms believe they understand to be a fair assessment of BL, that being "OH BCOZ IF THEY DIE IN MUNNINs THEY WOULD HAF 2 BUY A THIRD SHIP, etc etc, what have you". And to that I state that, where we may have come up with a very good fleet comp, and have decided to not suicide it over a fleet that takes a less then a third of the skill (not skill points mind you) to pilot and/or FC such a an unskillful and highly outdated fleet (in regards to being grossly obese in a measure of EHP). You see, we have the balls to mix our fleets up, shield BCs (that many of mocked fittings of, yet please, look at the results.), fleets in which we have put serious money into in hopes of attaining good fights, and more. Sure, we really like muninns, and you lot can cry everytime you go against our muninns, but atleast we aren't crying that YOU wont go against the only fleet we vaguely seem to understand, in your case this being baddy (abaddon) fleets. No you see, we took the time to evolve, and discover ways to countering fleets in productive, creative and fun ways.

MM could be rolling back into Tribute right now if they hadn't collapsed like a house of cards and run away crying while blaming everyone but themselves. I think they are doing exactly that, looking inward and cleaning house. almost 1000+ players have been cleansed. Corps have been cleansed. Individual corps are cleaning house. New fleet doctrines are being developed. The alliance is focusing on pvp and avoiding dropping super caps for the most part. Taking a few systems to satisfy the ratters to run sanctums for isk. MM didn't have the cohesion or fleet discipline to win against the DRF forces + PL/NCdot/evoke/etc. It was outnumbered, outgunned, outmaneuvered, and outskilled. It's sure fun to hurf blurf, but I think if you take a real look at what is going on, you will see that MM is doing exactly what you say they aren't.
There's a subtle difference between j4g types leaving for greener pastures and actual cleansing. Just sayin'.
I've noticed the pvp focus for a while and I have been a defender of MM assuming that this also included a rethink of the deluded entitlement that was the ultimate cause of their downturn and then downfall. How exactly can MM take any sort of responsibility for helping Goons get Deklein? The NC's idea of giving Goons space was to install them into Cloud Ring, because of course, a shattered alliance would do well being placed directly beneath the guns of some of the most dedicated PVP alliances in EVE. Goons ascension to where it is now is because of smart politicking and diplomacy which led to them absorbing what remained of TCF and taking their space. It's been said before that MM and Razor were there to oversee the transfer and were there to sign off on it, but if that's your idea of "taking the Goons in" then you've got your head pretty far up your ass. The only thing the NC did was replace a dying ally with a fresher, more robust one. The fact that MM didn't heed any of Goons' warnings, literally none of them at all, is your own fault and after they maintained blue standings with you as a token of friendship despite your complete and utter disorganization and retardedness throughout the entirety of their campaign with you, you repaid them by awoxing one of their supers.
