One side had 6 guardians + 1 triage, other side had 15 guardians~
To recap with detail on the fights so far today;
Most of them centered around a neo moon coming out that belonged to Gents. We originally formed early euro TZ which it first came out hoping to drop the Borg dreads that had been reinforcing it. Enemies didn't show up however so fleet disbanded.
Fast forward an hour later and MM/BORG/Br1ck had formed up a nice 120 or man shield BC fleet to go attack it. We saw them form up and immediatly began forming our geddon fleet wanting to test it against them. We had around 80 in fleet, 10 or so guardians, nice T3 numbers, and two triage on standby. We bridged on the outgate and after a few ganks and a bit of a wait- the hostiles warped to 70km off of us. Fight begins and we load scorch and begin fighting. Cyno up, carriers come in. We take down four or so BC's before the hostiles warp off since we couldn't get a bubble on them :/. We wait out our archon timers and follow 2 jumps. They wait for us off gate again at 70 and we jump in. To our FC's dismay, they originally all begin warping random directions for no conceivable reason. Turns out they had intended to fight again but had all disconnected. So we wait there, probe down a tengu, gank it, and kill some more. MM forms bombers and comes into system. After 15 minutes, their ships went bye-bye and with no sign of them logging in, bombers setting up around our gate, we left. We lost a few tackle and ganked around 10 ships in all, including a vulture.
A couple hours later Refugee Coalition forms again for the neo moon, this time choosing baddon concept. We get intel they have about 70 in all, 40 or so baddons, 16 guardians and a smattering of other ships. We form up Panic fleet and form while they work on the POS. We get around 70 in fleet, 30 geddons, 7 guardians, triage archon and supporting cast. After we're ready, we bridge 200km from them and they warp to the outagte, where we had a hero dictor ready. We arrive on the gate with them, shoot one and they agress back and fight begins. We cyno in triage, reps begin and we burn one of their abbadons every 10 seconds or so. With 7 lokis, we web them to hell and back and a hero devoter keep a bubble on them almost the entire fight. A lulz moment was when our FC primaried their lone scorpion jamming him. We loose a few guardians and scorpions, for some reason they always primary our logistics pilots. For me personally, this was by no means a guaranteed win. If you look at MM Abbadon fittings, they are once again special snowflakes with a multitude of different fittings. One dude had 4x cap recharger II, one dude had a point, etc.
So to answer Market Dude's question, S2N's victories was probably due to a variety of factors, triage included.
Good fights all around today though, and I doubt its over with the myriad of timers coming out this evening.
From the looks of it, they had plenty enough abaddons to ignore our triage reps with proper target calling, I guess they just didn't coordinate the firing well enough.
A triage archon is worth around 6-8 guardians worth of rep power depending on what guardian fit you are using, so if we had 7 and they had 15, then it sounds like all we did was even it out.
You should be asking how we are able to kill an abaddon every 10 seconds, when they have 15 guardians (which is a 2.5:1 geddon:enemy guardian ration). They easily could have saved every battleship, they had the rep power to do so.
Replying with complimentary *SMUG* Post. Yeah I was pretty damn excited we won that fight. Going in with equal numbers, an untested fleet concept, and with much fewer logi numbers (though we did have a single triage carrier to balance it out), I was pretty confident going in that it would be a very bloody fight. Our BS's were powering through their reps at an impressive rate, while it seemed the MM FC chose to go for our guardians/ECM support first. Overall our pilots were following broadcasts very efficiently, and the supporting FCs/scouts were one of the biggest reasons for positioning the fight and ensuring the win.

Nulli/CHAOT/Vera/OV formed up to bash the Brick tower in O-I, then had plans to bash the 1-SMEB ihub for a bit. We successfully took down Brick's pos (no stront ftw), then made our way to the Delve entrance system. As we were at a warp-in above the 1-SMEB ihub, Brick brought in their bomber wing. Like an absolute dumbass a CHAOT hictor threw up his bubble (wrong scripts ftl), trapping the entire fleet at the pounce, allowing a bombing raep to commence.
Welp.

I guess approximately the time you were shooting the pos we were putting NOL into it's next rf time, and wondering why lots of hostile fleets had formed up but not come to fight us. After that we figured you'd go 1-S next so RAWR bombers got in there and waited. Br1ck had a Cerb/tackler fleet with some bombers more focused on moving about mopping up stragglers I think
-A- formed up too and arrived first.. knowing we were there they jumped into 1-S a squad at a time. We bombed them 3-4 times as they arrived on grid at the IHUB and then turned right back around. But between overkilling our own bombs, -A-'s heavy shield tanks vs our Shrapnel, them keeping smaller ships off grid, and eventually spreading out well barely anything died. Then Nulli/Chaos Theory/Vera Cruz/few others then arrived with a BS/BC armour fleet. We hit them as they arrived on grid also, and killed a nice load. Then went back in for a second even better run while they were still nicely bunched, which was when the Chaos T. HIC helped us out. After that the remaining hostiles got their act together a bit, spread out and a had a lot of fast tacklers ontop of our bombers everytime we went in. We kept tossing bombs in for another 40 minutes until the IHUB went down and killed a bit more but lost plenty too. Black Legion also showed up at some point and were sniping stuff at the IHUB
Then we got ready to do bombing at the TCU, but hostiles left the system without touching itSo we chased the remains of the armour fleet for 5-6 jumps trying to catch stragglers and trying to bomb them while agressed on their out gates but got nothing. So then we had to shoot the SBUs, and Br1ck onlined a new IHUB
I like to think we bombed all the guys in fleet that know how sov worksbut probably there was some other explanation for the strategic welp. It was late. I dunno

Cripplefight. Is nobody in that ghetto of a Region able to put up decent fleets? From the numbers on paper, both sides should be able to field fleets of at least 200 People in any given Timezone, with decent composition and fits.

So did I when we had 300 and were fielding 60 man fleets - but like you we could only do it in one TZ. participation rates typically don;t scale very well in sov holding Alliance Elo as you well know.
