Quick BR on how that aeon kill came to be: We noticed him drifting 70km outside the pos shields. Cyno up, aeon tackled, we start melting him when a lightbulb goes off at 70-80% armor and he turns around and starts slowboating back to the pos. A few seconds later, he logs off and once he was at about 50% armor with still another 12-13 minutes remaining on his timer, Chaot and Nulli start flooding in. He went down pretty quick after that.

nulli/VCA/chaot abbadon fleet had just knocked off a brick SBU in M5- then reffed the ihub in 1-SMEB and survived a lolbomb run by brick in the process. During the slow boat back home someone came on coms and said there was a brick aeon tackled in sahkt. orders were given for HICs to burn and tackle and to strictly not shoot Black Legion as there was no time to sort temporary blue.

As a new alliance we need to slam our fist down on the diplomacy table so others in this internet fucking spaceship game know we are the real deal and a force to be reckoned with. Today I saw BORG roll over like a female dog (bitch) in the presence of an alpha male if only by reputation (MM). This shit needs to stop quickly as we are our own entity making our own decisions and hopefully doing what we need to do to have fun playing this game. I understand that diplomacy and discretion come into play, but we are not part of a coalition or any space holding group of alliances. We need to let EVE hear us roar!! That roar is fucking standing up for what is right in the face of a larger entity. If dudes tread on our toes let them be warned once and then be the focus of our intentions anytime after. Please do not let BORG start out as pets to MM or any of the fail NC alliances. Let us make our own plans and decisions and work together if we need to for a common goal. MM thinks they will get all the spoils because they are MM. If we do the work we should by all means enjoy the spoils of our labor. All I am asking is to please not sell this alliance short. We CAN and we WILL make shit happen as BORG, but it starts with leadership and setting our boundaries within the sandbox we call EVE.

I've 0 clue what happened in this case but actually a lot of the time when we were north it worked like: If you could be there and tower a moon when it died, saving the FC time and effort then it was yours at least til the diplos sorted stuff out. Noone can be arsed shooting a tower then hanging around for an hour with a 100 man fleet waiting for the right guy from the right corp to get his shit together and bring a rorqual from wherever with a tower
And if an alliance isn't mature enough to solve dramas later between diplos then noone really wants them as BFF. For better or worse. (That's the short story of how Init left the north fwiw, though it's water under the bridge now)
In any case it sounds more like overblown internal propoganda post, if it's anything at all
