I want to know, will PL defend their EVE Playground and employ their l33t hax0rs to shut down lulzsec?

As long as WoT is still up.
Tinfoil time - CCP contracted lulzsec to hit their own server to give them a whole week to install Incarna on Tranquility.
Ok maybe not.
Out of all the targets the only one apart from EvE that i use is league of legends and that is back up functional, though its easier to mitigate such when you use amazon and cloudfront than something like eve that uses static hosting

Man, the shitposting level of this thread shows that we're protected from a lot of idiots by the fact that they are too stupid to play Eve and post at the same time.
(Check the number of my posts to see which group I am in.)
Skill gap is BS TBH unless you are talking Capitols. I do a lot of low sec piracy and I have started noob alts more than once in order to get fights easier. TBH I prefer flying a noob toon just for that reason. You can spec out a competent Frig (faction or t2) pilot with-in 2 months or can go for T2/Faction cruisers or a BC in about 5 to 6 and have a toon capable of winning solo engagements.
If 2 to 6 months is too long of a time commitment then EVE isn't the game for them anyway.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

I hope we get free skillpoints out of this. Then it would go from funny to awesome.
Also, if they were smart internet terrorists, they would have waited until the AT finals.
In case anyone was wondering or if any of you didn't know:

If they really wanted to show how good they are they should go after some Russian government site...of course then they would probably end up in some dark, dank basement under the Kremlin with nothing but Putin, a car battery, some jumper cables and their testicles.

Well they've already crossed one line, going after the FBI's networks. Someone's door is going to be turned into toothpicks in a few weeks... when they finally track them down.
I'm suprised eve going down actually made any difference to kugu denizens - I thought we never logged on?
I think that's scrapheap's shtick of being bitter vets that don't login anymore but continue to follow eve
I'm led to believe that kugu are bitter vets that still login and play but still continue to bitch about eve
If the government could find them, the AF just needs a pilot and a drone remote to finish the job. Stop thinking 20th century.
MpozoY, this thread stands as a testament to your failure as a moderator.
More likely , if the government finds them they will be signing contracts as 6 figure salary security consultants - amazing how peoples desire to fight the system wilts when exposed to the fierce flame of financial gain......
well eve-o forums are back up, slower then shit, but back. cluster is getting warmed up and tested with showing 4 members online.
I didn't do it, and even if I did, you will never prove it in court.
A conviction needs a trial before it, and a trial is moot without charges pressed by a DA office. And sometimes charges can only be brought up if the involved organization actually brings them up.
A pretty way of messing up the idea of justice, but there you have it.
Very good point but I doubt the very people they put to shame will be so quick to hire them knowing who they are. Which means they aren't going to get a job under the premise that they pulled off these attacks. Of course I'm taking into account the probability that the people who they made look like schoolkids with calculators are going to want them locked up instead of working to secure the nets.
TQ is online btw, not taking connections.
