Yeah, for some reason Not Found. <404> has gotten it through their heads to do some actual serious business sov warfare against us. 5BKT and Y-O stations and ihubs are in RF with good USTZ timers for us.
We've had some great fights with them today, so props to them for that. They've killed more ships; we're winning the isk war, as we've been running a massive BC blob and they brought Tempests, Abaddons and triage carriers.
Many thanks to our friends in TEST, FA, BDEAL and c0nvicted, who leapt enthusiastically to our defense.

Wasn't on the 1st fight coz i'm too lazy for that. You know.. gates.
The 2nd fight, happenned when the ConvicTESTlemen decided to hit our freshly installed POS when we were heading home after having lost our suicide-triage-carriers and killing a bit of BCs.
So we heard they liked carriers, so we dropped carriers on a carrier, but our cyno was probably mildly drunk and he mistook a blackbird for a carrier.
Whatever, shit happens.
We were at ~500km from our POS, so we warped on it, you know.. to defend it, but one of our carriers logged off, coz he likes to do retarded stuff with his carrier, and had the marvelous idea to log back with 150 BCs on his ass.
Well, his stupidity got us quite a nice fight, we warped back on him, repped him to max armor ( those pesky drakes managed to scratch a lil' bit of structure out of him ) and engaged fight there.
The BC fleet quickly disengaged after losing a few ships, carrier was now saved, we then started to align out but before we could warpout, BCs came back to us at around 50km. We had to return fighters, and switch to sentries, while the ConvicTESTlemen fleet primaried our support. Sadly, RRcarriers don't lock as fast as Triage Carriers or Guardians, so we lost a lot of BS on this, not being able to lock them quickly enough. On the dps side though, obviously their scimitars couldn't hold our dps, and they lost a lot of stuff before they got to a point where the only remaining targets they had were T3s and Abaddons, and with the cut in dps they suffered, we could finally hold the reps on some of our support.
In the end, their fleet disengaged and we got the caps out safely.
The RF timings will probably be really hard for us to deal with, obviously, but whatever, if we can have nice fights like this(these?) one(s), I gotta say i'm ok with that.

Actually after the first fight we reshipped and went back on our pos wich was being shot by CFC, they warped out and waited for back up. As we were losing people in fleet (getting late) and the CFC was getting backup we left the pos to die and went home.
As a logi pilot on the TEST side I can confirm: a fun time was had. Thanks to both side's FCs. Made for a fun couple of hours.

Oh hey look, this thread is getting interesting again.
We didn't consider the tower an important objective, and nobody from GENTS was going to be around to FC it and turnout was a huge uncertainty given that it was a US holiday. Sometimes you get massive turnout because everyone has the day off, other times you get nothing because people are doing something with their day off.
The conclusion was "well, S&L can rally a fleet, and come down to harass if he gets enough but do not welp the fleet". The coin toss turned up "good turnout" so they came down and accidentally the objective, along with apparently 40+ of the EU Gents.
As for KB stats: It wasn't a welp, but test do have a tendency to only look at their KB and overlook allied losses. I wasn't there and I'm still not sure how it played out but it looks like there was plenty of fail to go around.
Case in point: Dual LSE, single Invuln, Cap injected, triple trimarked Tempest dies to a fleet of nearly 200 with only 28 ship on the mail. And only 26 of them hostile ships. I can't decide what side looks worse.
As for USTZ
So that hub 404 Reffed in 5BTK came out today in, predictably, USTZ.
We formed ~180 in fleet (~120 of it alphafleet). Oh and to answer the troll earlier 40-50 of it USTZ GENTS (hey look at that, we can run fleets in more than one TZ, how about you? Note: Good natured ribbing, you guys can get more numbers in your peak tz, it's all a tradeoff).
The 404 scouts logged about when we were forming so I'm not sure if they called it off when they saw the formup (I'm assuming spies here) or never even considered showing up in the first place.
With no resistance the priority changed to making it as quick and painless as possible. Our most significant issue of the night was TEST actually having to use gates in Fountain with the since-cleared incursion shutting down the bridges.

we were'nt going to do an alarm clock OP for this, it was 4 am in the morning and we were all tired. The actual sov warfare is totally imbalanced when you are a single-TZ alliance only. (and you don't blue 60 k avatars, too.)
