I must also ad that i was not in this fight, so the original BR is from one of my allymates.
8h00 AM - Form up 404 in a lo-sec of Lonetrek, 2 jumps from Pure Blind.
A large POS of technetium belonging to Widly Inappropriate came out of reinforced at 8h30 AM
Not Found is definitely going to take it, despite the hour.
8h30 - Not so much unemployed nor students being found, we are 9 in fleet, all in BS. The POS has a wrong setup, it doesn't shot. We are as close as we can from the forcefield, believing we'll be there to at least 12h00. We'r told on coms that evoke and NC. aren't coming because it's very early in the morning, so we settle down and shot.
9h -First reds in local, some WIdots came to setup the POS and a gunner takes place.Our dozen of Bs's warps out to reship, and bring with them 2 guardians . The pos gunner died, god knows why. http://killboard.notfound.fr/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=7628 . We go back to the POS and start shooting again.
- Around 9h30, a 15-ish WI. gang enters local with BC/CS/HAS. They ends warp at 45 km from our gang of 10, at the same time 4 carriers jumps in and starts repping the POS. Following FC orders, we align station and dock up.
- 9h40 - The WI. gang is camping outside the station, we decide to teach them a lesson, even if we are outnumbered. The order is set to undock, and primaries are being called. Our guardians are soon forced to dock up under the heavy rain of fire our foes unleashes on us, but the enemy gang suffers heavy losses and is forced to disengage. 2 hurricanes, 1 drake, one vagabond are now dead, a sleipnir and a zealot barely escaping. On our side, a megathron ended on hull before being able to dock, so no losses.
- 9h 42 - A NC./Evoke gang came to help us. It was formed of 10 bs, 4 guardians, a devoter, and a zealot. We warp back on the carriers. A thanathos barely makes it into the forcefield, ending half hull. More WI. ships died during this escarmouche.
We starts again the shooting, the WI. carriers jumps out, we thought it was over for the morning.
- 10h05 -25 WI. enters system .A dozen of maelstroms , 2 scimi, support, and some cloakers. Then warp @ 100 from us, and start trying to snipe us. A cyno is lit near our 20 BS's and 9 carriers WI jumps over our small gang. we starts rushing the maelfleet, which warps out, lose the zealot, but the RR on the BS is OK despite the 50 fighters launched by the carriers on our FC. We'll kill a few fighters and warp out.
We'll be back two minutes later on close of the carriers, the mael snipe gang in position. three carriers are a bit far from the FF, once heavily pointed and webbed, a Evoke/NC. cyno opens showing 2 nix's and a aeon, + one naglfar. 2 of them dies, the others got back in the forcefield in time.

The WI. leaves the field, letting us shot down the tower and putting a new one.
Cerise sur le gâteau, there were approximately still for 3 B in loot in the tower, wich is always good to take.
This is the first 404 tech moon up north, we hope that there will be more.
This fight was pretty fun for the extremely low numbers, and the typical escalation

Now, the region is very empty, it may be because of the anom change but i doubt it, there is no more fleets to fight us nor carebears in the region, we got to do 20+ jumps yesterday, and go to deklein to find some targets. Even there, no proper formup was set and we kept roaming the region, killing (a lot of) carebears, but we ain't go no fights, this is gonna be boring...

As to PB being a very rich region, I wouldn't be so quick to discount the anom change. I'm not going to read the whine thread on eve-o, but I wouldn't be surprised if it has more of an impact than you're giving it credit for. Having said that, having hostiles pretty close to you is going to put a dampener on how enthusiastic people are about logging in, when the end result is more likely to end in them losing their ship. This is especially effective when combined with the anom nerf, in particular if most of the inhabitants were there specifically because of the jewing they could do.

I don't have numbers, but having done a "seed markets" run through some of the major mission hubs over the past days I've seen more PB residents there than I used to.
I have often had to eat my words, and ... I have always found it a wholesome diet.
Considering they came to hostile space and not the other way around, it's somewhat counter productive of them to not fight and occasionally shoot a tower or two. It's ironic that they're beating on the war drums when they refuse to fight the people they came to fuck with in the first place.

I have not seen any beating of the war drums on the Ev0ke/NCdot side but i have heard some distant drums echoing from Deklein/Fountain/Tenal.
