I don't like the increasing prevalence of magic in the books. It was much better when it was mostly political machinations and gritty-fantistorical stuff with just some mysterious unexplained stuff going on. I also don't like 'chosen one' characters such as Danerys. I do like Jaime's arc, though. He's developing into a very interesting character and becoming almost likable.

Since no one is talking about anything relevant anyway, I just want to say that HoN is vastly superior to LoL. You get very little latitude for mistakes in Hon, and making them will get you obliterated. When I tried LoL (I had been playing HoN since the free beta, having come directly from DotA), I was raping everyone pretty easy, which despite being fun, gets old really fast.

The only problem I find with HoN, is that if you're like me, and you can't find anyone you know to play with you as a team, there is no way to avoid being destroyed in quite a few of the games. You play with randoms, and most of the times, a single weak link will leave your team unable to win real fast.

I didn't get that vibe from him at all when watching the Wire, he seemed like the underdog politician trying to uproot corruption in the local government.

I dunno, maybe it's just that he wreaked of politician, a quality I hate. He was cheating on the wife, trying to backstab friends, and actively wanted political power to boot. Either way, he's an excellent actor.

What makes you think she'll die though? The HBO series looks alright, some of the casts are 'eh?' worthy. I think they should have had a proper long pilot to introduce all the characters, the first episode wasn't long enough tbh.
