they're comparable to the fancy web based ones, with the whole "training queue" + market + jitamarket stuff
i don't think any do full dotlan yet.

having said that, i don't use any of them really, i wrote a perl script that makes an RSS feed of my character states and most recent markets, and then read that through Lockscreen for iphone

There were some complaints about EVEUniverse getting a link on the EVE FaceBook page because a lot of people assumed it was made by CCP, and because it uses ads or something.
Capsuleer is back? Awesome!
E: Damnit. 4.0 software is required. I'm not sure it's worth the loss of performance on my phone.

iClone isn't bad, but I really don't use any of those apps much at all.

I've only used capsuleer. I would not use it as a replacement for something like EVEMON or the like. It is pretty much only useful for seeing your current training queue. No ads and fairly easy to copy / paste your api into.
I used to love capsuleer and since it folded i used Iclone which was not very good and buggy as hell to boot. EveUniverse is definitely the app of choice for Iphone at the moment, the new update which added even more useability to it made it even more so, the meagre 0.79 Euro is cheap as chips also.
ps. yeah EveUniverse has ads but once you pay its adfree

I downloaded iclone since I don't want to put the 4.X software on my 3G phone. It seems to do most of what I want, save the nifty blogpack download that Capsuleer had. Some nice bells and whistled are being able to view my wallet transactions and corp info. Pretty nice overall.
Do any of those apps work on the iPad, or are they iPhone only?

If you "jail broke" your Ipad, you can use fullforce to get full rez on certain apps. It works and doesn't work with different apps.
I use this as well. Great app. The ship fitting tool is pretty handy when your bored.
+1 for Leaky Capsule.
It's super basic right now, but I really like the clean and simple look of it. The creator has a list of features he has planned, but right now it's little more than a skill queue monitor (and really I don't need a whole lot more on an app).
He has a mail reader in the pipe and you can currently read eveonline.com blog posts, I guess that's kinda nifty.
Actually Leaky Capsule has the full Eve Block Pack accessible through its reader. So it has all the functionality that Capsuleer did, plus Capsuleer's clean interface and update speed.
Probably worth linking iClone Lite as well which is better if you just want things like skill training, or if you specifically want to sit on iOS 3.

Wait, you can play EVE on your iPhone then? I'm not familiar with this sort of program, but I take it your PC is running the game (I think that's obvious) and the iPhone serves as a remote, eh, monitor I assume? Pro is $99 (for the app) and free for the, uh... free one. Huh. I don't know, but that actually MIGHT be worth the $99.
