KRUTOJ , meanmachine bros we need your BRs
Ya, I have to admit that most of my pleasure from this comes from the DRF gloating here over a marginal month-long holding action on 2 stations. However, Krutoj has been quite pleasant throughout; it's the 3-4 guys who registered just for this offensive who've been not-so-subtly smugposting.
all enemy titans on field are dead except one. Saying that, my overview is fucked by "Soul-crushing lag".
I'm in DRF superfleet, still didn't load grid since the begin of the fight, dunno if I'm alive.
Uemon shall be avenged!
FakeeditRF titans have begun logging off about 3 min ago.
Realedit: Nc support is headed to uemon to kill the DRF exit cyno's haha, or at least whoever is with skaarl is going
i wonder if ccp boosted o2o this time...few days ago it was manageble to control ship in 1200+ local...today its gonna be Uemon part 2 i guess...ccp win anyway
[Arrador] possesses a considerable understanding of ship configurations, strengths and weakness. He gives clear and purposeful instructions, is good at taking advantage of the fleet-composition he's dealt, and never loses sight of the main goal: fun. This, paired with an excellent tolerance for strong drink gives him an almost Churchillian capability to win, despite being completely pissed on booze most of the fleet operation.

its a long story... but i think fcs hoped that o2o was at least somehow boosted - this time they were wrong![]()
Anyone available for an ISD interview?
I tried to jump an alt into O2O. I get the feeling it hasn't worked when I get a popup from CCP saying 'Soul Crushing Lag!'
6-8 titans down for DRF , we started working on motherships
MM is also a good poster; to be sure we have no business in the NC putting down others for smug or shitposting in general. One of the pure joys of posting here is the ability to smugpost after a victory. Enjoy it. Enjoy when others do it at your expense.
If someone, (or many people) would like to PM/evemail me an account of the battle and the events leading up to it I'd be more than happy to propagandize the matter for the side of goodness and virtue.
With respect to ancient Rome, dignitas was regarded as the sum of the personal clout and influence that a male citizen acquired throughout his life. When weighing the dignitas of a particular individual, factors such as personal reputation, moral standing, and ethical worth had to be considered, along with the man's entitlement to respect and proper treatment.
soul-crushing LLLLLLLLLAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
wtf ccp :S
from support point of view - ROF 30min for the first shot, 10-15min for next.
gfgf
2 red titans have logged back in so far, both tackled.
This guy should have stayed home...

I must say, these fits are pretty nice.....
....after a good overdose of crack.
No troll: Why would you use passive logoff fits when none of us ever have neuts?
[23:07:57] CCP Veritas > On a serious note, got some real good data out of this.
[23:27:44] CCP Veritas > Brut: Just have hunches at this point as to the difference. It's clear there is one not only from your experience but from the data I collected tonight.
[23:28:04] CCP Veritas > Dark: So very much not my department dude. I fix lag and stuff.
[23:30:34] CCP Veritas > Brut - Of course it added a little bit. Compared to what you guys are up to though it's a piss in the ocean.
[23:28:18] CCP Veritas > Kanus - some profiling data on the server.
so. guinea titanspigs?
I remember CCP mentioning before that the reason they didn't use logging for large fleet battle on tranquility because it adds lag.![]()
More titan ave died in geminate and surrounds than any other region :V
Sigged himself retarded.
is there some way to total capital losses in a region elo?
DRF should ninja-kill an sbu so they can claim a strategic victory.
ah no i meant since tranq went live, would be interesting to see.
So.....
We "jumped out" via comms, and where told in our chat to stay. A few idiots indeed jumped, which probably added to the welp.
Covertop shows, lights cyno, abbadon cynos in, lights cyno, and suddenly my whole overview is lit with cyno's.
As the SC's and titans never jumped out, we start to kill hostiles fast, titan goes down in seconds, 2nd one takes a while.
From there's it's lag fest,
Our (ME) Titan holds, and keeps enough reps on him for an hour and warps off in 71% structura, in the meantime we keep killing stuff.
After the ME titans warps, it's just the people who actually ARE on grid who can kill ships, the rest is just watching 1 frame / 20seconds, or don't load at all.
AFIAK, no NC supers died, we killed 6 titans and 5 MS.

Someone post the ruskies KB battlereport, since I'm too drunk to bother.
I'm going to serious post.
It really is a shame that some of the biggest fights, those which both sides fully commit and have hundreds of participants eagerly anticipating something "epic", sadly end up in being a turkey shoot.
For me this is the most frustrating thing about EVE. It promises so much, but when that moment comes it can drive you mad trying to unstick guns, waiting forever to load a grid, disconnecting with some random error popup, then waiting an hour looking at entering system.
We still keep on doing it, are we crazy or are we optimistic that one day both sides will have that perfect bomb (copyright gobbins)
No not believing
I wanna know why DRF engaged. Looking at the KB the odds were so bad even PL wouldn't have gone in.

A massacre on St Patricks day?
Do Russians suffer from impaired judgment on St. Paddy's day?
Quick checking killboard vs my logs reveals following kills not generated/not posted yet:
Silus Yarmon [WATAG]<WN>(Avatar)
Lipix [WATAG]<WN>(Avatar)
Captain Chomp [WATAG]<WN>(Erebus)
Spartanetz [V.D.V]<WN>(Nyx)
Couldn't agree with you more flinx,
There is absolutely nothing fun about wanting to slam you face on the keyboard because your guns haven't cycled in an hour or you jumped into a system and don't know if you are alive or dead because you don't load. I'm a hopeless optimist though, I always hope that one day we'll see 5-800 man brawls that are fast paced, with changes in the tide of battle coming left and right and heart pounding action until either every hostile is dead, or your ship dies in a blaze of glory.
for two reasons:
1: when they came in we had "only" 7 titans and about 60 scars in system
2: Yaay set up a nice trap. He put us at some safespot and calls for caps to jump out. In meanwhile he manage to secretly inform supercaps NOT TO JUMP OUT and DRF didnt notice it. So DRF fleet jumped in on preloaded NC supercaps. 50 NC scars deploy 1k fighterbombers adding to the jumpin lag, lot of DRF never loads.
DRF strategy was clearly to gank straglers while we were leaving and having advantage of being loaded if we decide to come back. Well done Yaay!
