Not enough butthurt CAASEROL in this thread. I demand more tears!
On a more serious note PL, Id like to apply Wusti's C0nvicted to be your first Delve pets. We hope we can live up to standards set by Arcane Alliance from your previous sojourn in Fountain, however I dobut we will ever be even a shadow of their glory.
They weren't and it wasn't.
However those pernicious scoundrels at Null Secunda waited till the brave pilots of C0NVICTED went to their beds before sneaking in and attempting to opress the poor citizens of 1DQ1 all over again. Timing their run perfectly, they achieved their sovereignty aims at last. We had successfully fought off 3 previous attempts in less than 24 hours (2 x Nulli, 1 x PISS) - but alas even the brave must sleep.
Never fear however! The brave pilots of C0nvicted, specialists at the dark of night attacks, willl return to the fray and once again free the poor peoples of 1DQ1 from their tyrranic shackles!
I literally just stopped laughing that -A- blue'd the NC to kill PL and save an AtlasDOT station.
True, I have raped history, but it has produced some beautiful offspring
rather sad isnt it. and i fly with these guys. we should stop useing drakes and use erm idk BS. like a proper collation
Our dear Anuquet posted excellent bait in the ancient CAOD arena and many Cascade Imminent members felt the urge to present their honest opinion about this whole situation. Combined with some of the awesome trolls here, we can come up with a list of valid reasons, why PL are pretty much loosing and spinning whatever they can and on the verge of cascade.
- First of all. PL are clearly loosing the "ISK war". Its quite obvious that noone can bear the insane burden of 15-30 ships lost per battle. Not even with all the 30-40 neo moons (this number is completely fictional, I have no idea how many moons we have) and selling stations / systems business. Our financial reserves are gone and we are barely able to afford our ammunition.
- PL doesnt post their losses. Thats like the oldest trick in the book. I mean, cmon PL, have some spine!
- PL are intentionally whoring on their own ships to improve their catastrophic isk efficiency. The High Council strictly ordered every fleet member who is able to tag on as many comrades as possible, to make the battles look in PLs favor. This was done to protect the blind sheeps of PLs generic membership to realize, how much they are getting owned.
- PL are using supercaps. Thats pretty obvious cheating. Supercaps are like nuclear weapons. They are not supposed to be used. You keep them around, tell everyone you have one or few, but goddamit, THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE USED. Especially not against enemy! I mean, how is glorious superdrake army of maximum awesomness supposed to fight supercaps? Explain that uh?!
- PL forums have been just recently mirrored, which has left the whole alliance in pretty much terminal state. The spy networks are dead and burned down, all forum secrets spilled out and theres pretty much no way alliance like this could be winning. Especially not against such heroes as AAA or Cascade Imminent. I mean, these guys have been boasting about their ~pvp~ for years, so they have to be pretty good.
- Glorious Peoples Army of Drakes is achieving its objectives at a staggering rate. Stations are being saved, PL poses refinforced and destroyed daily and their corrupted stations are liberated every night. So not only are PL loosing the ISK war, they are also completely failing at defending their own assets! They are not defending at all!
- PL are using just certain types of ships. Thats not outright cheating but fairly close to it. Like that guy from Maverick Navy said on their forums "You cant force people to take some ship otherwise you wont let them in fleet. That leads to conflicts and alliance splitting, like in IT" (or something like that, I cant be arsed to look for the exact quote). PL are obviously foolish enough to take this risk however our wise council isnt and it is the right decision.
And now excuse me, I have to go rat. My ratting schedule is pretty tight, I have only 17 hours per day to farm enough money to get a new abaddon, from my jewish alliance mates that are selling them 400m per piece! If only I was in an alliance with solid drake reimbursement...
I am just kind of curious, did -A- & Co forget how to fly Battleships? Why not just meet them with 2-300 Battleships or a mix of BS and Drake Army for the scrubs who are skill less and cant fit a T2 BS, I mean the Drake Army thing is kinda like way old, and has not worked very well for them at all except for shooting some structures.
I would think a force of BS would be much better to counter a force of BS with, not a blob of BC's that take all day to hit the target.

If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.
Fuck me bad toothache today was on for just a lil bit long enough to welp my Broadsword.
Fap fap fap.
The TS Hax stuff. TS wasn't DDOS'd however someone sent a modified packet that made the server think there was another instance of TS3 running. In which the server promptly killed AAA TS3.
We then joined FAIL TS were on it for about 5 mins or so then the same thing happened FAIL ts3 down. Not saying it was PL because there is no way to prove it but they take the game SERIOUS enough to be a candidate for it. All Query ports have been closed on both servers so hopefully we wont have a repeat.
I think the "they take the game too SERIOUS" is nonsense, as everyone on this site takes the game too serious. It is the same as i don´t buy the we don´t care about ship losses, isk doesn´t matter etc. = maybe for some empire noobs but anyone in charge of an corporation or alliance puts lot of effort and time into the game and usually is a addicted to it (as everyone in 0.0). So i take more PL´s we care about k/d ratio and owning the enemy, over the other side saying we don´t care etc.
As the we don´t care is usually just a mental wheelchair for possible failures, which should help to absorb them. Could work for some time, but still hurts as every loss or failure. Actualy admitting defeat from a superior enemy instead of the we learn/didn´t want the space anyway/it was only t1..drakes..carriers....reimbursed already..../tactical retreat/etc can be quit healthy and helping. Sadly there are so very few people willing to admit and express the truth and thus actually learn from it.

Of course PL killed the teamspeak servers, its partly how they win! On a side note, I enjoyed the battle and was actually two boxing a ROL account and AAA account. Don't know if I'll do that again, but was fun. I still think PL are getting desperate and this is why they resort to so much meta gaming. Its like a man dying and grasping for that last little breath. PL, you will be history soon, at least your life in Delve/Querious.
Now go grief someone else's space. Do the right thing, save face before its to late and the whole community will know how pitiful scrubs you are. We can make you a deal to let you leave with honor and integrity. Its your choice, be cool hero's or flaming faggots. I hope you choose the hero route.
Yes they are so pitiful and shit, lets blue up more people because the current seven alliances involved are not enough to kill this one pitiful and shit alliance![]()

Ahhh, how cute. PL is butthurt, thanks for the nice avatar! Thanks for letting us control your game. PL, now you will resort to editing people posts? Yeah, crybabies for certain. Thanks for the sweet tears, this just shows how frustrated you really are.

Stop posting at PL - you'll only encourage them!!!!

I'm pretty sure at this point you could just write a perl script to generate this thread forever and no one would know the difference

PL talking shit is now trolling? Fuck me you guys are the most awesomest trolls evah! Because to me it just looked like Anuquet wasn't there, had no fucking idea what she was talking about and decided to mouth off her ill-informed second-hand experiences on CAOD! That was brilliant! I've been totally fooled.
Just gotta remember that every PL post is actual 'a troll', and not 'nonsensical rubbish' as it may appear.
EDIT: Also, I am not longer a 'pre-person'. Wewt!
bubbles sail for 30 km before exploding, you drop a bubble on your fleet, the bombers have to warp to it to launch, meaning they are 15km from the bubble, meaning they are 15km from the fleet, meaning the bombs will travel right past it
I never understood the approach. Bombs fly for 30km and have a blast radius of 15km. Hence you want hostile bombers to drop out at 50km (so they explode before hitting your fleet) or 10km (so they explode behind your fleet). Dictor bubbles have a radius of 20km. Which means if all the fleet sits at 0 on the bubble, bombers will actually have a field day. Some people proposed HICs with HIC skill to 4 (16.8km, better, but still close).
Medium anchorables work, I guess (11.5km).
THE GREATEST POSTER
I read the CAOD thread. Left satisfied.
With the bombers thing, I have been in a lot of fleets where bombers have been caught in our own bubbles while attempting a bombing run. It might have something to do with their warpin causing them to get dragged.
If you kill enough of them they stop fighting - Gen. Curtis Lemay
Fear the KKM
Was considering negrep for you for being an arse about this legit question and instead wrote a reply (I'm sure Petyr will correct what I should have done). So the tactic is to have your Hics/Dics some random 30km spot from the fleet - doesn't sound like a valid tactic since you would need a lot of them to block any approach, unless you are hoping they use celstials as warpouts and you have enough to cover just those approaches. This doesn't sound like a good tactic overall unless you can field an extra 1/2 dozen+ hics/dics and some sort of logistics for them as well, as I would expect an FC to try and pick off anyone who appears drifted away from the fleet?
Hello, friend! Let me begin by expressing my sincere respect and admiration for your decision to adopt me as your guide to the ways and wiles of kugu posting. The pitfalls and snares of bad posting are many and varied, and when one is at a young age with but two bars of sweet green reptanium between your person and the iniquity of a compulsory pony avatar, well, I don't have to tell you that it can be a nervous time indeed.
First, one must make a decision, "What kind of poster do I wish to be? What is my main goal?" There are many perfectly valid answers to this question and each response will have its own set of tactics and general guidelines. Perhaps one wishes to use kugu merely as a means of obtaining passive intelligence on one's enemies. Who are they really? What makes them tick, how do they think? What do they care about that I may dash their hopes, crushing their spirit like so many crawling ants beneath the boot heel of my well-crafted propaganda. This style of posting will have you reading many posts but contributing few of your own, for when one gazes into the abyss, the abyss also gazes back into him.
It might be that you wish to confound and infuriate your enemy, causing him to lash out blindly, expending all of his might impotently swinging at naught but a puff of air and falling to his face with great embarrassment. This is perhaps the easiest of all posting styles as it allows you the most freedom. Your weapons will be the tried and true ad hominem attack, the straw man, the empty quote, the uninformed response, the always hilarious MS Paint edit of someone else's valued work. Be forewarned however, this style is not without consequence. Your opponent may become mad, oh yes, but in addition to his delicious angry negreps there will doubtless fall others of the community. Innocent bystanders at the children's hospital you just nuked with your post consisting of no less than 8 inaccurate k:d ratio figures, a soliloquy on the merits of a sebo drake, a broken killboard link, a working EN24 link and 11 instances of the psyduck macro. They shall express their fury as well. But fret not, with your red bars and pony avatar you are free of the responsibilities of reputation, unfettered in your ability to say whatever thing floats to the top of your thoughts and flows turgidly through your fingers to drop steaming and stinking before our eyes here.
Maybe you have set your sights on the rarest and loftiest goal of all... that of the universally acclaimed and respected classy poster. He whose posts make those around him gleam a little brighter in reflection, bringing light and joy to the inky darkness of the realm of the trolls and the lost. This is a dangerous and difficult path and once on it you will find it difficult to maintain your footing and easy to fall by the wayside where only a truly heroic post can save you. Your first few posts will be critical in establishing yourself. Make them count. Never post when your muse is fuming, blinded by the rage your enemies have instilled. It is a far, far better thing to ignore the slings and arrows of your opposition then to expend your strength swatting them down with the poor shield of an indignant response. Post when you have the highground, looking down at the pathetic puny forms of your opponent as he grovels before the brilliance that is a well crafted and mature post. Cut your teeth on cunning renditions of the 'FYP' executed against sad, illiterate washouts from the EVE-O forums.
Never attempt to educate someone on game mechanics or pass yourself off as an expert of any sort unless you are absolutely sure of your basis in cold fact and can display this prowess with a graph or diagram or quotation from a neutral party. Even then you open yourself to attacks on your character as being one who 'cares too much', (and they are right, you do!). Establishing one's reputation early has the added benefit of glossing over mistakes you might make later on down the road, (we'll all make them, don't fret) with the twin weapons of a glowing light-green rep bar and a title that does not describe some act of sodomy you will be a fearsome opponent indeed, loved and respected by your friends and a source of terror to your enemies, but remember posting charioteer, you are mortal and all glory is fleeting. Enjoy these moments while you can.
hth; Incidentally you're dead wrong about the bubble thing, it's a fairly well-established anti-bomber tactic to station bubbles around one's fleet, especially in the direction of celestials so that bombers come out of warp too far out for their bombs to reach the main body of the fleet and your support consisting of insta-lock canes and scrubships can easily remove them from the field.
With respect to ancient Rome, dignitas was regarded as the sum of the personal clout and influence that a male citizen acquired throughout his life. When weighing the dignitas of a particular individual, factors such as personal reputation, moral standing, and ethical worth had to be considered, along with the man's entitlement to respect and proper treatment.
