My fondest memory of AAA was a few months after we joined and had a chance to kill some supers (dont even recall whose) so the call for supers/titans was given to log in. Mind you at the time all the corps were supposed to have tons and tons of the things, but PL was somewhere in the area killing Atlas or something.
So we log in like 12 moms/titans the rest of AAA log in 10, the entire fucking alliance was embarrassed by a 15 man corp. So the call was made to log of said supers and form up a CTA gang of some kind of crap like drakes or something which Makalu managed to welp in record breaking time as usual.
This guy gets it like the kid at the end of Waiting (2005). You can't complain about a lack of fights when you blue the only alliances that can fight you.

That's why we never fight AAA alone. PL vs AAA would be LOL fight. We would get owned. AAA got both support blob and enough supers - just not enough when we roll with NCdot and TEST in tow.
For the Southern deployment we even blued TEST to get at least some support fleet (with fairly terrible results).

Winning in EVE stopped being about the fights with the fall of the NC. In fact, can you name a single massive fight since they died?
I'll wait here while you puzzle through it, but there really hasn't been one, its not about fights since dominion, its about dominating your opposition one week at a time to take the stations down, and morale, which judging by the internal leaks of alliance chat and AAA forums was at all time lows.
The fights are nice, but the forum porn feeds us just as much as anything else, and I'm not sure if you noticed, but arguing is something I enjoy and excel at (If it weren't for my constant need to tell an attorney opposite me to go fuck himself I probably might have made an OK lawyer).
Low-sec. Unless you also bring a 80 man fleet. then people will also dock up. Or NPC space. Fleet up with around 20 people between 8 and 11 at night EU or US tzone, will get you fights 100% of the time. Look at the -A- killboard. Roaming the north and west all day long, getting fuckloads of kills. More then enough PvP in 0.0 at the moment.

Despite what you might think, we actually often go out of our way not to bring supers for this very reason and the latest venture in the south was no exception. However, once fights start drying up or, worse yet, the opponent starts running, we drop the supers as punishment or just to grind down the objective faster so we can move on to the next place.
I know this sounds arrogant and bullying in a you-will-fight-us-or-else sort of way, but we are here for the fights, believe it or not. If you find we are being unfair in throwing the supers around, I'm sure deals can be made for honour fighting too.

And its still all about fights. 68FT vs INIT GE- vs Init+IT, NC vs DRF in that lowsec system. Thats why i guess most people play. To be part of those battles. I know for a fact that most PL people (at least used to) love those big fights. But the uncontrolled growth of SuperCaps has made the fights to one sided. In the first 15min the outcome of a battle is decided already.
And yes you are right, you played the super cap game perfect. you have them all. -A- wasnt that interested in stockpiling Supers and thats why there is such a big difference in the actual amount of players using them. But we dont use them, we like the small game. The subcap game. And as you also stated. The subcap game is much more popular then the supercap one.
uhm.. I never wrote something about cheating on your wife or moral acceptance, I just think you should cool down a bit and take some distance from the game.
Many people play it in their manner, if you play yours in your manner, dont expect everyone accepting your style. Its still a game.
If I loose space where I live, I shrug and move on dont really fucking care. If you drop supers on my fleet I leave, log off, do my jumpclone or go play another game. If you once get a tool for destroying stations, I will again simply go play somewhere else where I'm unaffected by those negatives. What I will not is giving you pointless killmails or any form of satisfation, if I dont get anything back from that. Its a game and if its onesided I stop playing it and it is fucking onesided sometimes.
You like fights? Leave PL or something and go look somewhere else - people dont like getting rolled with a blob of supers if they cant do a crap about - they also wont desperately suicide fleet after fleet to you attempting to chase you off; they will leave you alone, walk away, thats all - no game mechanic change will ever turn that, even if you destroy the entire new eden universe, you wont get more fights out of that.
