Ylca was an early member of Dreddit who was black, and took offense to people using the word nigger as a derogatory term. So whenever someone would complain and the discussion would come up, he would of course be teased and trolled about his opinion. Also, he was a rather argumentative person in general, and never knew when to chill and when to not chill (not just on this topic, but others as well), so things escalated over the course of a year to the point where he and the community were butting heads so hard about everything that he ragequit.

When Dreddit first started, I used to make fun of him constantly for being black. Every low brow racial joke I could come up with was slung his way. He never once said anything to me about it.
Ylca also had this amusing habit of cutting you off mid-sentence, saying "so what you're saying is..." and then concocting a ridiculous strawman. He literally couldn't address someone without first paraphrasing them in the least accurate way possible.
Ill never forget that time when we were ganking some drake and he yelled out on comms "IVE GOT HIM TRACKING DISRUPTED" unironically
