To clear something up it was already decided that Ore was gonna be promoted at least in the corp before this whole thing went down. It wasn't to replace you Sec it was actually to replace Holick who was going inactive. Also you where never really a director just a diplo at least for NX. The reason for this was so you could focus more on alliance then corp.

Now I kind of regret moving NX into ED. Has been nothing more then just a giant headache and shit drama, also the being lied to part was neat. Iam quite glad I've been inactive during most of it. Lastly whats even more ironic Sec is that we even talked about leaving ED months ago and the 1 person who stopped us was you. Seems the new leadership feels to invested into the alliance now to walk away.
