    I'd like to think that the reason there are so many nominees for this category this year is because everyone looked at CCP's deployment of Dominion last December and went "I can probably top that." No one did, but here are the attempts:

    An invasion of Russian drone holdings during the winter
    CCP's statement that they would fix lag "in about 18 months"
    CVA's attempts to expand into Catch
    EVEnews24
    H-W (attempting to camp a coalition into a station, and then bailing to go shoot an I-HUB)
    MAX 2, not for the idea of invading the North, but for thinking the South had any actual ability to cooperate
    OWN forging chatlogs featuring The Mittani and expecting to not get fucked over a barrel for it
    Undocking a kestrel with 72 PLEXEs in it
    Y- (pl losing 11 titans in systems starting with y- in 2010, for pretty similar reasons)

    Although the MAX2-related option does bring with it that all of the attacking entities crashed hard at least once within a year of that. Probably unrelated and they're all shit and were going to diaf anyway, but still.
