I'm going to avoid making a raging negative post here and try to be constructive.
It is very hard to take anything you say seriously when the names of various groups are all wrong, whilst it seems like a minor thing it really does impact the video a lot. In regards to the content of the ~vblog~ it was as kesper suggested mostly just "regurgitated" kugu content, I would hope to see some original and mildly interesting interpretations of the various political situations in future editions. In saying that however if the video is targeted at the eve news 24 audience then I can understand (but still resent) the simplicity.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I also found the constant cutting in the video extremely disconcerting.

I personally do not like these styles of vids Mint and to be quite honest I cannot even make it to the end. But on the flip side I don't think you should stop making these video blogs because it is clear you have an audience outside of eve that very much enjoys this style of game blogging and these very simple news updates is probably best suited to them and in turn helps this terrible game get more interest.
No mention of White Noise. abandoning Tenerifis and Omist or the beginning of the Detorid campaign by stainwagon, -A-, R.OL and co. which is certainly relevant to this conflict.
The Cobalt Edge shenanigans are more than just simple harassment too and the DC aren't the only one flying fleets out there. There's going to be a build up in the area so that if the NC can reclaim Vale and Geminate they can shit all over the DRF from the north. NC/DC's attempt to bring the fight to the motherland.
It's been noted in several places that -A-'s participation in the great southern structure grind is at an all time low so if and when the DRF get around to hitting back -A- and co are suddenly going to have their hands full again.
I don't personally mind someone vacuuming up content from k.com for news-style summaries because it proves the site is fulfilling its purpose. Don't listen to anyone that doesn't have constructive advice because they're bitter butthurt vets. Eve needs more community building not less of it.

unless they serve your own opinion of course. Also, there is a reason why the yellow press usually has more fans
in realworld compared to serious media. Because it´s entertaining. Seriously, who gives a shit about facts anyway ?

EVE is a huge entertainment complex. The unique thing about EVE, the Entertainer is his own audiance.
So in this case I find it really refreshing that a beatiful girl steps up and creates some "content" that we can love or hate.
Now that this thread was completely biased against mintchip I thought it was an awesome idea to step in as
white knight with a shiny body armor to add a little bit of friction. Btw. I´m still convinced by the idea^^

When you look at news on TV there are a bunch of editors writing stories for the anchor person to present and read from a prompter.
So if you think you can help or do better... why don't you contact Xutech and Mintchip and start writing EVE news stories.
I think Mintchip is cool, she has a lot of pep and some good presentation skills.

mintchip post a outlay on PL forum first or get 4-5 dudes u know pretty well to look through it before airing ure news show?(just to sort out minor errors/get usefull input) Just quick suggestion. All in all it was much bether than I could have done, and prob much bether than 95% of the dudes on this forum can do.
Just get all the small details like facts /named ect right and thats pretty much it I think. A eve political news report can never become totaly 100% correct tho, so dont take "u cant get this right" too hard. (I mean people have different point of view, depending from which block they sympatize with).
