It's real, but out of date. Most of the Gem network isn't on there yet.

NC, goons and IT needs them to get their carebears to pvp, PL dont really need to.
Creating a hatred for ones internet spaceship enemy is kinda sad.
The only alliance I haven't played HON with in eve is RA, but only because I dont understand what they are saying.

Edit; in before mad duders posting, just check your own forums and compare the amount of fleet members you get when you herpa derp compared to when you dont.

Good points. But as a counter for some people the "hatred" makes them game actually playable. Some people need the motivation, like you say, but not everyone has the same objectives as you. I have to admit I like to blow things up as you do too, but the day that I just go around kill people with no real objective other than being the fotm alliance/corp is the day I quit. All it means is that I am bored and I have played this game entirely too long. Of course this my opinion.

Obviouly i cannot speak for all the 1300 characters in PL, but yeah I play for GOOD FIGHTS and reading other peoples tears when they get mad over said fights. I must admit that I also enjoy posting smuggly about the good fights.

So no I do not need to hate or hold grudges against the people I shoot for the same reason I dont have to like the people i fly with *cough* phreeze *cough*

Pretty much the same reason i play. Goodfights and the resulting angry posting are what we choose our deployments on, getting paid for what we enjoy doing is just a bonus and you don't have to be mad at people to enjoy fighting them and drinking their tears
