Also TEST is an expansionist alliance and they are running out of space very fast. Within few weeks you'll see more groups in Goons/TEST and deklein won't be enough to sustain everyone. Cloud Ring provides another space with different rats and 6 constellations so these guys can really grow. Of the 6 constellation only one of them will be hostile, it is the one that connects to Fountain, Syndicate and Outer ring. I think each alliance in Dek co will get a system there to put a JB there,

Also that region has at least 7 Tech moons (probably 10) and lot of Neo too. Even if CCP changes moon goo stuff that region is still very valuable if people manage to hold it.

Dispro moons gave us important shit to fight over, and now its just "oh, i lost a tech moon, whatever, i have 20 more. I'll get that back later"

if Tech was distributed evenly (i dont mean an exact number per region, some regions should have more than others) then it would fix the problem overnight.

The thing with Dyspro was that even though BOB and PL held a huge portion of those moons, there were still others around the map for other people to fight over, Tech just isnt the same.

If they had redistributed R64's properly around the map, given each of the rarities similar profit potential and kept r64's as the king of the hill moons of Eve, it would have been an actual fix. What we got was horrible planning and atrocious execution.

I still think they should come up with moons that produce a set amount of moon minerals then said mineral spawn somewhere else in that quadrant/region.

As I recall, one of the CSMs rushed to buy the fuck out of Thulium in the run up to the Dominion moon rebalance and ended up being forced to resign over it. This set off a bunch of rumors as to the new moon mineral hotness, which was funny since as I understand it, Thulium is still garbage.

My view isn't a whine, I would make the same statement if a friendly blue was equally advantaged so disproportionately by such a gaping hole in CCP's implementation. The point is, it is inconceivable that the team which undertook the balancing changes were not aware of the resultant outcome. Anyone who thinks it was purely accidental is delusional. Someone must have reviewed and approved the design/execution and they would have been in no doubt of the gravity of the imbalance. Furthermore, the whole community pointed out the gaping flaw in the execution. How long has it been now? We are talking about a simple reference data change to a few records in the database. Granted, someone has to re-run the numbers and do the analysis to correct things, but that is not a huge undertaking. It's certainly less of an undertaking than pulling together the quarterly economic report.

its already like that, the only reason anyone gains space in 0.0 anymore is if the sov holder decides they dont want it anymore or if they die internally.

The only difference redistributing Tech would make is that the wealth would be more evenly spread instead of just one group essentially controlling it all.
