Initially, this sounds like a really good idea. On the other hand I just read an interview with one of the developers the other day about 40K tanking because EA shoved it towards the door every step in process of making it (Which EA is especially famous for). I'd much rather a game I loved so much float around in the ether for some other developer to pluck into reality, then to have already failed. Personally, I'd like to see a Necromunda game more like the "Tactics" games (Final Fantasy Tactics /Ogre Tactics). Though I'd get away from using squares or Hexes for movements and ranges and use a measured space system like the original game.

Find a copy of Arcanum for the PC. It's pretty old and 2D, but it was made by the same people who made the original Fallout. Awesome game if you don't mind retro.

OWN does not have better friends in Eve than GSF leadership given that the membership would probably be delighted to shoot their whiny delusional asses. Though that's mostly the OWN leadership.

On the other hand TEST has offered safe haven to the oppressed. And if I had to pick between TEST and OWN for finding fun in the game and achieving stuff it would pretty much be a no brainer. Though TEST is being too generous sharing its space and leaving OWN leadership still holding personal tech moons. I still wish the OWN corps had enough initiative to stage a coup.

[spoiler=Arcanum]I never really enjoyed Arcanum.

While it had a lot of good elements to it like the combination of technology and magic, most of the game itselff was rather shit.

From alien looking Ogres, to shitty placed Items behind trees/bushes you no longer was able to get.

The game was riddled with bugs and for quite a long time I had to wait for the first patch to actually finish the game. (since there was this small bug, within the mountain base of the dwarfs, where the exit door would disappear once you entered so you could never leave again.)

And it was riddled with game braking bugs like that.

Arcanum could of been great, it sure had all the potential to it. The end result was just severely lacking.

I rather play some F1 or F2 instead, perhaps some BG or some Planescape Tournament.

But Arcanum? fuck no![/spoiler]
