That explains seeing sharkbait in the system when ASCN was fighting BoB, he was probably just watching, but he shouldnt have.

A dev was in system with BoB and ASCN quite a few times and said in local he was gettin footage for the next eve trailer. Nothing wrong with that.

they have invisible access to all regular chat channels, evemail and all other "mass" information - realtime and logged, and coming up with an excuse to read them is probably a formalitywhat a boring sounding job, watch noobs lvl all day
seniors may have and developers definitely have similar access to all other information including private convos

Honestly, despite all of this, the more devs that actually watch real fleet/POS battles in 0.0 and get a real feel for how they work so we don't have to read embarrassing theory crafting shit like nano Naglfars for ramming Titans, the better off we'll all be as a whole.
That's the pickle of the whole situation...on one hand its good to see devs head first in all aspects of the game so they actually know how things do turn out rather than how they're supposed to...it's just this 'all of them in one major alliance' thing that's causing all of the shit.
I honestly stopped reading that dev's post at "Here is my plan for taking down a titan with 20 ships...."
Wasn't shartbait running tests to try and help cut down on POS server lag at the time? He is a game tester/bug hunter after all.

Eris isnt in BOB with her main, although she used to be in MC interestingly enough, however her main got kicked for being inactive.
Her and sharkbait managed to keep mains in MC, without ever speaking on TS. However to her credit i NEVER heard a single accusation/rumour/suspicision of her possibly using her GM abilities to advantage her or anyone close to her

Which is fine, except that if he's also in BoB on the side, it erodes trust in the devs.

Everyone gets to do their jobs, and the players get the added confidence of knowing that the devs have seen how they play and are working on the codebase accordingly.

Actually, Sharkbait seemed to be the only GM that was actually trying to help ASCN deal with all the strange POS moon disconnects/offlining, lag, locked gates, ect...
If Sharkbait was a former BoB member, then unlike many, he atleast attempted to make sure his BoB loyalities did not distract him from doing his job. He is one of the few GM's that has earned my respect.

sharkbait is my favorite dev tbh. it doesnt look like he deals in bullshit like some of the PR guys do, looks like hes a lot more interested in getting stuff done(ofcourse theres a lot of devs on the forums that are like that sharkbait just stands out most imo)

Sharkbait was the dev that showed up while LV was haxploiting our POS shields for a good half an hour. He was the one that barked at LV to stop shooting, and ordered them to stay away from the POS. Then he dissapeared and went to go haxploit it himself on the test server.
Too bad he didn't stick around to see Nebba from LV disregard everything he had said and warp under our POS shield, locking everybody up as he went.
It should be noted, GM Sunshine and GM Ytterbaum(sp) are the two that like to follow around LV and act suspicious. They have ordered us to go away, leave 0-W778 and LV alone on numerous occasions, offering no reason at all. We also have many logged conversations with them in regards to petitions, where many odd and unsettling things were said. But I digress..

GM Ytterbium interfered with a carrier kill after it was deep into armor.
The carrier was an LV carrier.

If you think the GMs are being unfair/unprofessional, file a petition under Policies -> GMs and write away. I did this regarding GM Sunshine's incident with Remedial and fofo, and got a response pretty quick. A GM said he'd note it and look into it.
Might as well leave a paper trail if these guys are being shithooks.
