I remember once he thought PL had a spy in TS, so he loudly announced over TS in an obviously fake voice that he was sick of the fleet and docking up (despite having said a few minutes before that he was going to "try something") while telling us all in fleet chat what he was going to do, which involved warping to a gate or something. The only thing leading me to one side or the other in this argument is that I have asked Barqs dozens of times now if he had contact information for Ban, Mera or misscoda, and never received an answer. He obviously did have it, since he's saying he left Ban text messages. Why wouldn't he just give it to me?
Ban walked away for 7 months, pretty much all of our leaders did (myself included, although I haven't been leaderly for a long time), without leaving anyone behind who could access any of our capital shit. None of it. There's a big trading budget, gone. All of our cap production shit, gone. All of our members, gone. Log in any night of the week, be alone in corp chat.
There'a a lot of blame to be thrown around here. Noone's got the right to stand up and point fingers at others. Everybody fucked up pretty righteously.
Oh and also, I talked to Bobby a week or so ago, he's actually going outdoors, and spending time with other breathing humans, ones who are not standing on his porch waiting to trade food for money. He's doing well, and will continue to do so as long as he keeps himself out of Eve.
Honestly I didn't know wtf to believe at first, as I was one of the members that didn't get told anything (but hey I wouldn't tell me anything either). But sadly it just seemed like Barqs story had more holes in it. When we (Shmak/myself/and a few others)where talking to Barqs in the DTHI public channel, and people where asking him questions he seemed to have to constantly back pedal so as to not have the whole thing completely fall apart.. I generally have no beef with anyone over all of this, I'm here doing what I am because I don't want to see DTHI die the way it was going to!
Having been in DTHI for nearly 20 days at one point (which means I get the alumni newsletter and an invite to the annual West Palm Beach "Felons for Freedom" luncheon) I would like to interject something...

This mess is partially my fault. Over the last year participation has steadily declined. A lot of the old guard stopped logging in. Eventually the banlish, scrapple, mercuza reign ended and barqs took over as CEO during the fall of atlas. For about a month everything was going good and I decided to take my eve break. I came back a month and a half later to a dead Corp. Barqs decided to call it quits and I don't blame him. Shmack and some of us decided we didn't want to go out this way and he agreed to take over.
Here's where it gets tricky. Barqs didn't trust shmack with the Corp wallet and he didn't trust barqs cause he went and put all the assets and cleaned out the Corp billions onto his own account. Barqs also kicked the old guard and the shareholders while creating a majority of shares for himself. This was quickly turning bad do to no one really trusting the other and spiraled out of control.
This is where it becomes my fault. After talking with different Corp members, we decided I should hold all the Corp assets and wallet because I felt I was trusted by both. My plan was to delegate the isk for projects and expensives and if the Corp failed again, I was gonna liquidate all the assets and split it between those former members who were still active minus myself or babysit it till another reform attempt was made. The problem was I was never online at the same time as barqs and then my computer took a shit and I can't play till I get it fixed. This would have been the most fair and best way but I failed to make it happen.
So now whe have a bunch of infighting and a situation blown out of proportion. I should be able to get back ingame soon and hope to mediate this mess if it's still possible.
Barqs as for the geminite thing. No one from brick asked us to go there. They had several stations coming out that weekend and I wanted us to help them blow through them to show our appreciation for helping us out when we were down. It was voluntary and it helped plus it made us not look like free loaders.
