Any and all conflicts, PL could contact combatants and demand payment in return for not joining the other side.
Alliances might refuse at the start, but the mob quickly recognized that making an example out of a couple of dudes brought the others in line quickly. From then on in you can just keep playing diablo 3 while your wallet grows even fatter.

Shamis still has his accounts subbed, and he even logs in from time to time (maybe once a year). The second part is largely accurate. You come up with an idea for a campaign, you post it, we make sure we can fund it with all the other things we're going to do, and then you go do it. People will follow or not.

Hard as it might be to believe, the providence thing and the AAA thing from last October or whenever it was, was my first one of those, and all i wanted to do was hang out with TEST. Picked something to do and we went and did it. You can do and get as much in PL as you have the effort to support.
