Omeega please tell, was there really an agreement?

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to intex encapor again.
People keep saying that, but there are alot off ppl in eastern europe who provide their family with food, for just ''playing'' this game... a few hundred euro's is alot in those countries...so for them it is not just a GAME.
The rest who RMT and buy cars, tv's etc etc is smart enough to do so.....im not aproving all this, because in some way its effecting my game, cause i like to play this game once in a while...sometimes even get the '' ITS NOT FAIR'' feeling hehehe
Anyway my point is, its not a game for many its a way off living and providing....
GF's all
No idea. But let me share you some quality logs I've just crafted!
DRF > Hey guys, we're going up north to kill the NC
AAA > Well, NC is kind of our long-lasting allies
DRF > But...but they've been RMTing left and right for ages! Even our bots can't repel RMTing of that magnitude!
AAA > Nah, it's OK, we'll just stay back and do sansha missions
DRF > Oh well, your loss!
Later that day
AAA > Sup SE, the entire DRF is up north, let's get their undefended stations
SE > What? Are... are you sure this is safe?
AAA > Sure, they won't mind - they won't be able to be on two fronts!
SE > But if they succeed, they'll come back for us, if they fail, they will ALSO come back for us!
AAA > Nah, we will help our NC allies by taking the DRF's territory south! That will teach them
SE > I... I don't see how that will teach anyone anyth-
AAA > Shutup and take the stations
3 months after
SE > Fucking AAA, I told you they would come for us when they'll be done
AAA > It's OK, we'll fight in US timezone and hide in our NPC stations!
SE > We have no US timezone, are you retarded? How did you not think this through!
AAA > We... well, erm, it's Evil Thug's planning!
SE > What?! He hasn't been playing for two years now!
AAA > Okay okay, I have no idea who planned this
SE > Fuck you
*SE resets AAA*
A week later
AAA > Guys? guys? GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUYS!? GFGFGFs anyone? ANYONE?

So what you're saying is SE are pushovers?
hahaha nice chat log.
it pure Bshit but still entertaining. Ps what i know of the time of the first catch invasion is that AAA and friends were actually preparing to join DRF and invade NC. MAX 3 so to speak.
And AAA attacking WN space was just as a payback for them jumping on the Invade Catch bandwaggon.
As far as i know betrayal and your enemy paying you back for your actions, is not the same.
PS: i havent been playing 8 years (only 2,5) but i am quite interested in the history of alliances. where was WN in the 2009 -2010 area ?? i cant see them on any map of that time (only at the end of 2010)
Of course not!
I'm just trying to see if my english lessons were successfull or not.
They weren't, somehow my teacher wasn't please with me sending her a word file with all my latest forum posts.
And yeah, being disguised as a no-pants vinni puh probably didn't help either.
Daroh > I've bought a telescope, watching you guys fly in eve from my place )))
There's 2 sides to RMT. The seller and the buyer.
If there wasn't a market for illegal isk, it generally wouldn't be sold. If you want to condemn the seller, you should also condemn the buyers, and according to this nice little report that was leaked a while ago there is a fuck ton of people buying.
The hilarious part is a nice portion of those "buyers", are in -A-wagon.
RMT also isn't generally an eve-exclusive problem, almost every mmo has some form or fashion of it.
I don't approve of RMT don't get me wrong, but tbqfh if your going to condemn someone for being a seller, condemn them all, this includes -a-wagon, possibly MM (before losing the north), and a few others.
Though while your condemning the sellers for providing a service that some players seem to actually want, you need to condemn the buyers too. But at the same time, CCP could realistically solve the issue, but ofc they don't want to.
And since we're on the subject, the Russians aren't the sole providers of this service. You also have the Europeans, Americans, Asians.. Hell, service providers are global, why? because there is a portion of the player-base that want's the easy way and will pay literally thousands of Dollars of RL money to cheat their way through eve.
XD

Did you guys know you can win electricity out of Vodka-Soaked Bread? And when you turn of the computer later, you can feed it to your children!
Duder,
You really like the word "condemned" dont you..
And shouldnt -A- be a RMT seller instead of a buyer. I read on kugu that they sold all their super caps and what is on kugu must be true. Right.. right ?? Or are they buying their Super Caps back agian ?
Yes, it's pure bullshit - don't get me wrong, it was just a poor attempt at collecting +reps from our beloved community!Originally Posted by Yoji

Fuck the bitter vets, as long as you're ready to learn and share, your mentality will fit this game perfectly.
Regarding White Noise.'s history, your question deserves a good and complete answer, but unfortunately, I'm not able to provide it to you.
All I can say is that during 2009 and 2010, White Noise has been living in NPC stations/systems in the north, just under the NC's nose.
The NC didn't really bothered having them on their territory as they enjoyed some nice PVPing/skirmishing and SOV warfare was never part of the equation.
It's quite funny to understand that all the isk WN managed to peacefully farm got amassed because of the NC being to lazy to try and drive WN out of their regions.
I'll have a chat with some of WN.'s older members and try to come back with a more complete set of answers if you don't mind.
Daroh > I've bought a telescope, watching you guys fly in eve from my place )))
I dont see the problem with RMT. Why should't someone be able to sell the result of his labor to someone else. What i have a problem with is botting and that the ISK stays in Game.
There is so much ISK in eve now that loosing a fleet or a few SC isnt even a big deal anymore. A year ago, a titan kill would be a huge deal. Now with the size of the alliances involved its replaced the second its dead. Another example: if someone can take 900Billion ISK without touching the corp or alliance wallet, you know people have to much. People dont care anymore if they lose a ship, alliances replace everything instantly and losing 4 BS a night is only bad because your kill stats go down.
Elements of -a- and some of their allies have engaged or are engaged in both sides of the RMT trade.
and since you brought it up, actually NC sold all their supers... to the very people that just whipped em out.
But, yes ROL is actually still selling their supers, pretty sure -a- is gonna enjoy seeing ROL built supers engaging -a- stations. :P
XD
See, it's hard to say AAA is RMTing or not. Just as it's hard to say this about the DRF, PL or the old NC.Originally Posted by Yoji

What usually happens is that a few RMTing individuals join a pre-existing thriving (peacefully farming) alliance, and start taking advantage of it and develop a local business out of the pre-existing logistics and assets.
We know a few RMTing individuals that have been brought up to light and the banner they are sitting under isn't really of their concern.
As long as the alliance they are in doesn't ask questions and has systems to farm, they couldn't care less.
Daroh > I've bought a telescope, watching you guys fly in eve from my place )))
-A- leadership has gone on record saying that they actually need people to bot to help them "pay for things".
En Garde used to have a rule that if you found a blue botter you could actually kill it, which some people did quite often. But once -A- came out saying that they "need" botters, En Garde (which is ran by -A- Director Alts) then said that shooting blue botters is no longer allowed.
The use of bots is an issue that spans all the major coalitions and alliances in eve. Again, an issue ccp could solve in a hurry, but won't.
XD
Then i, and probably others am very interested in where and why you made the change to join DRF and move south to enter SOV warfare in the end of 2010. You sound much more like a pure PvP alliance like Darkside, Outbrake or Hydra R. Was 0.0 roaming PvP to boring compared to 0.0 Sov war? or was it the place on the map you guys desired.
And pls dont answer with something juvenile like "we only want tears". Apart from those few alliances that cascade after 1 week there are no tears to be had in the south.
Well, you see, I both agree and disagree with you.
Some income sources are obv. imbalanced but with some solid planning, strategy and brainstorm you can easily come up with a legit solution to make up a lot of isk in a little time.
It's all about the time you're ready to allocate to your effort!
A lot of people like myself became "rich" by investing a lot of time in the game and working your way to the top from the bottom.
When you get to 10b isk critical mass that you can basicaly invest on the market and get a weekly 5-10% out of it, it means that you will quickly be sitting on 20b and then 40b, and then will start being able to do supercap production and pump your weekly profit up to 15-20% and become richer faster.
Then you have "bonus" incomes like moons for example, or original farmable 10/10s plexes which were (plexes) and still are (moons) way overpowered and gamebreaking.
In that regard, EVE-O is very much as interseting as earth's economy.
The poor stay poor, and the rich keep getting richer!
Daroh > I've bought a telescope, watching you guys fly in eve from my place )))
Hahahahahaha man Duder, you keep cracking me up.
From the forum.
-A- Alliance Rule on Botting:
IF a bot has AAA or EnGarde ticker and is a bot, kill him nvm what system he is and report name to alliance, he will be banned.
It's quite amusing to hear Krutoj, Death and whoever is -A- leader now say "Botting is forbidden in our alliance" but forget to add "But our members are free to join our citizen alliance with their botting corp".
Everybody bot!
Well, as I said previously, I joined WN. with nync, about a year ago if I'm not mistaken.Originally Posted by Yoji
My understanding is that Psikozz had reached a critical mass and wanted to get someone with a solid sovwar experience.
He also probably wanted a real home for his memebers and knew he had sufficient firepower to do it, but would require additional friends to get it secured.
I think he basicaly wanted to get to the next level in terms of gaming experience - can't really blame him for that.
Trust me, I have a huge respect for DarkSide, the original Outbreak team and Hydra.
Skirmishing is amazing, but at some point, big long grinding wars are the ones who get me the most entertained and probably also the most motivated!
From there it was probably just a few steps until WN joined the pre-existing XIX-RA powerbloc in the east and was then officialy labeled as DRF when starting being active amongst other superpowers.
Since then, it has been constant fun, from the Northern invasion to the now ongoing Southern war - Psikozz, nync and other WN members (including me) are getting exactly what we've been waiting for!
I did not mean to be juvenile - I was mainly refering at AAA members getting some tears out before we even got on the Pandemic Phone.Originally Posted by Yoji

is catch burning like london yet?
If it is they're doing a terrible job in London at 'burning' shit.
Like taking away -A-'s bike everytime they buy a new one.
trdw: HED JB down and being attacked, and repped, and attacked, and repped and attacked and repped, you get the point. With a few GF and some Lagfests. However we also now have Raiden. and Evoke on the field in catch.
Anyone know if they just spun down for a roam, or did DRF / WN force them or pay them to move down? Because i really dont think the sanctums are better down south then up north....
No idea, but I'm very happy to see them join us down south.Originally Posted by Yoji

Thats the way idiets do it the clever fucks buy h-bot to get forum access there you got a sub-forum where you can offer space for botters to rat in.. and with space I mean system resources for example lets say you rent a -0.7 System with angel rats from RA for 3b per month (which is the going rate) you then proceed to upgrade the system setup a pos with 2 corperate hangers etc. once thats done you start renting out slots.
If the system has 10+ belts you rent out the belt slot for like 2,5b per month 5 heaven slots each 1b per month 3 forsaken hubs 1b each per month 3 ferloren hubs each 500m per month and on top of that you charge 10-15% tax. You get the picture? all you gotta do is bring in ammo for the botters and keep the pos running which issnt to hard ...
So for costs of like 4b per month you get 12b back (fixed) and another 10-15b in tax and best of it all what you do is not bannable offence if someone gets banned its the botters but not you! You and your isk are perfectly safe. Do that with 3-4 Systems and you get the picture I admit that I'm doing it and i've no problem with it what so ever cuz its easy isk and the idiets are out there so why not profit of of them.. There is nothing in the EULA against this kind of thing so why the fuck not![]()
Notice I said En Garde had the no kill botters rule, which was based on a -a- leadership decision months ago concerning botting.
There is no doubt this rule has possibly recently changed or -A- has a separate rule.
But I'm glad your having a good laugh, it is indeed a great day.
Also, fight in hed-/sv5 just happened between -a-wagon and drf.
-a- bs fleet was sufficiently whiped out. SBU's are up and cyno jammer in HED is down
XD
Did you lurk in the forums around 1 month before you joined? It was when AAA lost it's space. I am sure you will find the relevant thread and witness the drama unfold, from Many who called South their home.
There are always tears to be had when an alliance cascades.
(damn those ads)
Misspelled insults about someone's mental capacity always manage to get a smirk from me.
edit: Also I hope apple doesn't see that and get the idea to come up with a dieting program ;p
2nd edit:
People have been banned over renting out space to botters before, albeit I haven't heard of it happening in a good while (years, before this sort of thing wasn't as popular as it is today). Not being directly stated in the EULA (I'll take you word for it since I don't care to read it) doesn't make a huge difference because CCP can ban you for any reason they want (that's in there), but I'd be surprised if there isn't some provision/interpretation about aiding botting.best of it all what you do is not bannable offence if someone gets banned its the botters but not you! You and your isk are perfectly safe. . There is nothing in the EULA against this kind of thing so why the fuck not
Not that it matters CCP won't do anything about it but just an FYI that you can (and people have) get banned for it, you aren't perfectly safe just mostly safe :P
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Mostly safe is still better then mostly banned I'd say. But still even the CEO/logistic toon in that corp you'd use an alt account for that over VPN if you're smart so risk is minimal. Besides if ppl wanna bot ppl will find ways to do so and other ppl will find ways to profit of of that. And I'm kinda fine with that thats life and in life either you exploit others or you are exploited and I for one like to be in the group that exploits rather then being exploitedBut thats just me.
Honestly, I just don't get people who buy ISK. Even for a lazy fucking idiot like me, ISK pretty much falls from the sky.
Mind you I suppose I do take some minimal effort to avoid losing ships so my costs are lower. But it really seems like learning a few basic game mechanics would be a better investment than trusting some Moldavian goat-pimp with my credit-card details in return for easily acquired, fungible, infinitely supplied spacegold. And if you really gotta have that faction BS or whatever, then jeez, just sell a GTC or two.
You can buy more Isk for the same amount of money from farmers than you can from buying GTC's. That is the short answer. As far as not getting why people don't just farm their own isk, this is the same reason we have social programs. Some people simply do not want to work but want to be able to live like people that do work.
"It pains me to say it but you are a good poster." - Vonq
Heard -A- is moving up north soon gonna be taking some WN space soon? C/D

Funny thing is, they weren't jokes...
[Arrador] possesses a considerable understanding of ship configurations, strengths and weakness. He gives clear and purposeful instructions, is good at taking advantage of the fleet-composition he's dealt, and never loses sight of the main goal: fun. This, paired with an excellent tolerance for strong drink gives him an almost Churchillian capability to win, despite being completely pissed on booze most of the fleet operation.
Let me tell you a story of betrayal. Nync , Bobby Atlas and I all had a pact that we would have each others back. We had a channel specifically setup for us called 911 South. Everything was good for a good period of time. However suddenly one day Nync comes to us and says " Im sorry im leaving ROL " I tried to make coup and was put down and had all roles removed " ( I won't go into why this coup was attempted even though I have covered it in previous threads).
The VERY NEXT DAY Nync contacts me and says"I want to meet with Bobby Atlas can we arrange this I have proposition". Not knowing what this "propostion" entails I setup a teamspeak meeting on AAA comms. Bobby shows Im there Nync is there and Psihozz is there. Nync states that WN wants to move south and wants space. Bobby and I were like " Great awesome we will help you". However Nync states we would like Atlas to give up some regions. Bobby replies " Yeah I can give up some space we have more than we need". Bobby goes onto to ask what space he would be willing to give to WN. Nync at this point says " Well we want this region and that region and we intend to give a 3rd region of yours to RA". Bobby responds with " Im happy to help you out Nync and by extension WN as we have a bropact but fuck me if I will ever give RA space".
At this point some words are exchanged in russian between Nync and Psihozz. Nync makes it clear that WN would prefer to be allied with Atlas and AAA but that Atlas would have to give up space to Red Alliance. That if Atlas didn't it would be forcefully taken. At which point Bobby Atlas lost his shit and went apeshit crazy on comms " Fuck Red Alliance fuck them in there shitty little asses Im not giving them shit"
I was sitting there in dismay how in 1 motion Nync had went from my closest of closest allies to a aggressor. That Bobby's rage had just landed us in a war with DRF. The war started and went on with WN and DRF accomplishing naught until PL was hired to tip the balance. I was at pretty big odds with Nync for some time personally after this event. I still would never trust him again but personally he is a good dude and someone fun to play spaceships with. White Noise got its start in the south with a dick in the ass to Atlas by Nync.
