It's one of the quickest ways to get the average pilot self-actualizing without getting into that messy 'shoot x, unless y is on field. primary z over b' when shit is dying so quickly that you can't really stack anything up meaningfully. I think a lot of the bat-phoning (Take this as is, I wasn't there for the fleet as I'm on my shitty work computer on travel) was due to the potential for a "what-if" situation. That's about all I can gather from everything.
The batphone would have been nice this weekend since I was able to play for a few hours, but oh noooooooooooooooo.

Shit, the fights I flew in last week were pretty "Meh" too. Both sides need to do some batphoning IMO.
Edit: What we really need to do is get everyone in system (TEST, GOONS, WI, etc and IT and anyone else), log on, form huge waves of troops by size a la "Civilized Military Combat", and just have a good ole' "noone leave the area until it's all fucking dead" fest.
If you compare this forum with all of the others you'll notice something, namely that a good portion of null-sec leadership frequently drop by to troll/chat. Just because someone is fighting my alliance in game, doesn't mean I can't enjoy forum whoring with others that enjoy Eve. First and foremost I enjoy Eve, along with the guys I have hung out with for several years in Agony/BoB/Kenny/IT.

True story, burnout in eve (at least in my alliance) seems to work the other way. If the directors don't give us little testees somewhere to deploy and something to shoot, we start ripping each other's throats and dropping dramabombs.

Quick update: J5A and 9r4 were both saved last night. Apparently their was a short fight in 9r4 after which IT pulled out. SBU's were destroyed as well as 2 MVN staging posses. Seems both sides are back to squire one.
