Just got the news when logging in today, gratz to Goonswarm and RA for the first EVE "ingame combat" titan kill.
With the fall of LV and Northern coalition, i guess the war is coming to its final match: the alliance vs Southern coalition.

We removed the ingame pos, we removed them from their ingame ships and we removed thier ingame will to play.

Here's how the fight went down from what I gather. BoB had reinforced several of our PoS's in JV1V earlier today during *their primetime. We had a gang set out to go to JV1V and do the usual PoS repping (snore). A smaller BoB engaged our gang and wiped all but 20 out of 100ish. We regroup in 77S and head back into 46-Dp. Several people were on the 9-9 gate when Shrike shows up and DDs to try and get us to jump into 9-9. He proceeds to cloak. Hrin of Merchi (from penny-arcade) manages to decloak him. Several dictors came and bubbled the place. We had some miplaced cynos, but they were eventually laid and RA and Goon capfleets cyno and proceed to whittle down Shrike.

Set Advanced Spaceships 5 to train and haven't logged in for two weeks. Just now checked the forums. Laughed myself silly. Then realized that I really just don't give a fuck anymore because EVE is such a shitty metagamed dev-hacked piece of crap. Paying for my 'scripts until the end of the month then EBaying them and spending the money on a new MMO worth a shit where there isn't retarded amounts of lag and "Devs on MSN".
Congrats to us on the kill tho. Sharkbait and the Admiral Charmadickhead prolly got an earful from Orange Species, Shrike, and Co.

Good luck to goonies and the Red for a good kill. With the new changes it was bound to happen. Not being able to escape after a DD (warp-out is not an option) the titans are reduced to big logistics vessels. If you dont have a fleet of carriers in triage to support you, I doubt they will see any further fronline use (untill skills are trained - then things might change again).
Its funny though, thats its a russian that does the most complaining about the Titan nerf...

It's amazing how much I really don't find myself caring, as much as I dislike BoB. Eve just doesn't matter that much anymore, for one, and for another, the unfortunate truth is that BoB can build the things faster than goons ave been killing them.
I think the difference is that this time the pilot was actually ONLINE to appreciate the sweet sight of his structure hitting 0 rather than being hacked /smart bombed into RL. Mollie is and always has been a shitty pilot that falls to pieces when he doesn't have 100% shitty game mechanics backup. I'm sure when the BoB devs were writing Rev2, they were thinking about how great it would be when they killed everyone else's Titans.
This one needs to be a monument. And there should be a corpse hanging out of a window or something illustrating that this was the first kill where the titan was actually manned and fighting when it was killed.
And what does "Fofofo" meen? And why is it banned from the eveo forums? I googled it and it says something about makeing sweet love to dead items like lampposts and such, not really cool to forbid people from expressing their sexual preferences
