Why is the PL killboard such shit?
WHY ARE YOU SUCH SHIT?!?
The pl killboard does suck though. It can't be denied.
100 carriers. :P
No corp or alliance has bottomless pockets. If anything, you would probably want the losses to be absorbed by MM more than any other alliance as they have shown the ability to absorb the kind of asset loss that cripples most alliances.
Not sure what it is, perhaps other alliances don't jewgold as much perhaps, or perhaps it is an issue with the flow of funds. I can't speak for all MM corps but the one I was in didn't have leaky holes in the admin where sizeable quantities of the wealth went missing, which was a common problem with the entities I was involved with pre-MM.
Like with most alliances it is a matter of how many ships are lost and over what period of time, while 100 caps will barely register as a blip on the radar, if they have sizeable and sustained loss over a significant period of time then they will feel it hard.
Those guys have been sitting on the vast majority of Tech moons ever since CCP decided Tech was the new Dyspro.
And you talk like ISK matters to them.
You are all stupid as fucks. Isk does not matter in PVP.
BOB did not lose delve because lack of isk.
PL did not lose fountain because lack of isk.
Its all about morale.
People get bored if they keep loosing fleets even when outnumbering the hostiles, people get bored if they get blueballed, people get bored if they realise their alliance is shit.
And when people get bored, they no longer get 2k fleets.
Edit; I outdamaged 85% of the gang last night, and i had minmatar bs 2. fucking scrubs
It is perhaps more accurate to say that ISK is not all that matters. But yeah while we have a game infested with macrobots, jump freighters that can get anywhere in 3 jumps, and untouchable mission runners generating ISK in hi-sec, the concept of ousting an alliance purely through resource denial and inflicted losses is moot.
EDIT: And tbh even just a couple of weeks of uninterrupted anom whoring can generate enough ISK to allow the average self-sufficient alliance grunt to fight for a very long time. 300-400M a night (plus whatever 10/10s you get as a bonus) for 2 weeks buys a carrier plus a fuck of a lot of BS, HACs and some bombers, dictors, etc. You can easily fund a couple of months of normal intensity alliance warfare with that.
Plus the fact that you can produce a lot of stuff in high sec means that even taking out 0.0 POSes doesn't put a halt to item and ship production, it might slow them down, but it won't destroy an alliances/coalitions industrial backbone. Destroying moral is the best and most efficient way to kill off an alliance. As soon as Random[insert coalition/alliance here]Fag#4bagilion start struggling to come up with income to PvP is where you start seeing decline in fleet participation, which leads to more losing, which leads to less fleet action, which leads to losing space, which leads to WTFBBQPwnage.
But of course the NC is an exception, all of Vuk's glorious Moon Goo can sustain us for like, ever. :P
Lack of motivation is a good explanation, but lack of funds can factor into this. Yes running sanctums can mitigate some of these problems, but I feel that income loss or lack of ability to rat when on deployment/overall lack of desire to log in is connected. You log in less, you have less time to make income, you have less ships, you are less willing to lose ships, but it is true that the drake army and BC gangs are a good answer to this, but it's still frustrating to lose ships and lose a battle and have to replace your ship, etc.
Lack of income can very much be a problem though, perhaps not the foremost problem, but it is one of them.
No offence friend, but you are wrong.
Name one conflict that ended because shortage of isk?
Peoples main fleet consist of drakes now.
Its all about FCs who stop FCing since it gets "hard" or members stop joining the fleets since "we wont get a fight", "we will just loose" or "they have 3 times our numbers".
Been in all said scenarios btw![]()
I wish I was making 300-400m a night. I question the accuracy of that figure as an average. And that number will drop considerably if you are forced out of 0.0. Plus the ease of rebuilding the super-capital fleet that went welp or AFK all of a sudden unless you have very friendly ally with excess capacity.
There are many factors. Morale, material and raw numbers are all going to count. If every member of the alliance has tens of billions in the bank the loss of a carrier is no hit to morale. If there are 4000 members then you can absorb more losses across that membership. Though on the other hand if you are out-numbered and out-geared four to one then morale isn't really going to save you and a clean withdrawal, retaining materials and morale for whatever comes next, is a perfectly viable call. A process made much easier if your alliance income isn't dependent on the vulnerability of holding space in the first place.
I hate ratting with a passion.
[Arrador] possesses a considerable understanding of ship configurations, strengths and weakness. He gives clear and purposeful instructions, is good at taking advantage of the fleet-composition he's dealt, and never loses sight of the main goal: fun. This, paired with an excellent tolerance for strong drink gives him an almost Churchillian capability to win, despite being completely pissed on booze most of the fleet operation.
Its much more fun to steal your isk from people that think ratting is a good idea
Not Dead, Just Sleeping
I am dumb enough to think it's a good idea.
Actually, that's not really true: I know it's a fairly sucky way to make ISK, but I am simply too lazy to apply myself to the ways I know are better. Getting drunk and mindlessly slaughtering wave after wave of Seraphims (DO LOOP UNTIL RICH=1) while talking shite on comms/in channel/on forums is simple and undemanding, plus it's sufficiently lucrative. All I have to do is watch local and glance at an intel channel now and then.
If I was going to be all ~smart and ambitious~ about making money, then I'd apply myself in real life and make real life money. And as it happens I can't even be arsed to do that for real life money, so what chance I'll do it for ISK? Upgraded systems were a real gift to dumb chumps like me.
I think its really sad to see what has replaced Atlas. All that you see now in Insmother, Scalding Pass, and Detroid is Russian Macros. Of course russians don't acutally play the game so you could fly through the south in a pod and never see a acutal player in a system. I didn't like Atlas much but at least they actually played the game, Russians only play Eve in the aspect of RMT
Passive aggressive much?
I despise missionrunning and ratting, don't be too offended that it colors my judgment. Stealing shit from people doesn't have to be ~smart and ambitious~ as there are just so many people playing this game on a single server that you can always find people under the curve.
Not Dead, Just Sleeping
I don't understand, just have multiple T2 BPO production lines going to fund / make discount ships and your alliance / private tech moons to support alliance efforts... supercap production. Soon enough you make money PvPing![]()
Today a Rebellion tech moon and a Majesta empire tech moon was coming out of reinforced in the same system.
The Rebellion came out after DT and R + stella polaris had a 100 man bs gang.
PL, being bestest of hon bros with Goon superstars Vee and Bring stabity, had been warned.
"If you touch goon bros Rebellions tech moon we will unleash the wrath of goon upon you" Vee said last night, just before he died to a Behemoth ultimate with his arachna.
So PL did not form up, well actually some new guard fcs did and tried to bomb them but dont think they had much success. (([18:54:08] zenthral staichon > tell vee to go kill himself < NEW GUARD FAGGOT))
When the ME tech moon came out, we formed mach hacs only to realise R/STELLA still being around with 110, in arty abaddons and other fancy ship. So we swapped into 60 armor hacs and started traveling towards them.
2 jumps we realised that a clever ME fleet has sneaked in behind us, with 90 "mid range" battleships.
We are now trapped between 110 R/STELLA infront of our 60 and 90 ME+ friends behind.
What to do what to do Grath telkin screamed, being the fc of the fleet.
Out of nowhere, a wild Ray Butts appears.
"Be calm friends, there is but one path, we kill them all! They might be 200 and we might be 60 but never give up on the dream of the fist!"
And like the Space-Spartacus he is, he led us to much glory.
Some might say we won because of Ray Butts exceptional FCing.
Some might say we won because ME had no scouts.
Some might say we won because R/STELLA did not join the fight, sitting 1j out with their fleet.
Nevertheless, 0wn was achieved.

We then jumped into the tech system, the 110 NC russians did not engage, so we jumped in 7 dreads and killed the tech moon with the russians being mean to us in local.
PL tower onlining atm, netting us 14 tech moons in venal atm.
Gf gf gf
fits like https://www.pandemic-legion.com/kill....php?id=320379 may also be a factor
HoN is a terrible game for terrible people (by this I mean if you play HoN you are honestly a terrible human being)
I can neither confirm nor deny the veracity of those logs.
Posting again because OWN is pretty much gone and I have nothing left to do.
I'm sad...

Fintroll wont let us make new spacefriends![]()
i see what u did ther
The original Force of Evil back in 04-06 fell apart due to the alliance and a majority of its members running out of isk from fighting the North, Xetic, MC, Kia, Stain, and Burn Eden simultaneously for a year and a half straight. But yes, aside from a few situations, conflicts end from people getting burned out for whatever reason.
You can get to Branch via Deklein
