Over the course of our time in Eve we've lived in a great many regions. I started back in the original Syndicate days and loved it, then rejoiced as we invaded Cloud ring as it was fun and our first step into the great realm of conquerable 0.0. We lost but moved on to the south and conquered pretty much the whole thing, it was fun. We all know the story behind our collapse in Delve and our eventual rebirth amongst our friends in Deklein. TCF opened their doors to us and when they decided the time was right they granted their realm to us to manage and care for as they reached their twilight years. We have been good stewards of this region and have rebuilt our empire from its riches while making some really good friends and expanding our future possibilities.
Inevitably as we solidified operational control of Deklein and the formation of the Deklein Coalition there were inevitable problems, namely existing tenants who felt the power vacuum presented an opportunity for self advancement at our expense. This thread is naturally about our former tenant OWN alliance.
We have exercised herculean restraint over the course of our repeated attempts to reach a diplomatic solution with OWN alliance. Normally when faced with contempt and disobedience we have reacted with force, but we tried a new tactic of negotiation and patience with OWN and gave them every opportunity to buy into our plan for the region and to get on board with our greater plan that would enable every member of the DC to reach success and advancement in their place in eve. They have rejected every attempt to coexist and instead obstinately continued to express that they were our equals and not a member of the coalition we lead. They would continuously thumb their nose at our military adventures while touting their deployments with the NC as some sort of measuring stick for their worthiness to hold the little strip of Deklein they squatted on.
We tried but sadly we failed. Our best diplomatic efforts were not enough to convince them to be a part of what we are building so we have asked them to depart our region for locales unknown. They have one week to get the fuck out and then maybe they will help the NC maybe they will fly off into the sunset.
So with a heavy heart I retreat to the cold comfort of the 90's superband Semisonic and leave you lyrics to express my sorrowful feelings
