The Aftermath: Sorting Through The Chaos
The NC's dead. In practice, this means very little to our local area around Deklein, Pure Blind and Fade as of yet. Morsus and Razor are retreating to Venal and/or just getting the fuck out. Branch, Tenal and Tribute are under sov attack; we can expect a lot of undefended structure grinding on the part of the DRF for a while.
There's a possibility that we will come under sov attack, but at this juncture it appears we're mostly on moon-defense duty. The DRF doesn't give a shit about us, having avenged themselves on the NC; their allies might shoot at us here and there, but the combined super-blob of doom has little purpose with the cascade of Morsus and Razor, and will likely be split off to deal with the very-much-alive Awagon bloc which is continuing to assault north into DRF territory.
My impression from chatting with the leadership of some of our new neighbors is that they aren't interested in replicating a 'blue to everyone' North in the same way as the NC, and we may see entities like NCdot or Ev0ke having mass resets once the dust settles. In the near term though we should assume we're defending against a unified blue-to-half-the-galaxy group of anti-blue, anti-blob types; that means don't be retarded with your capitals.
Meanwhile, there are a lot of opportunities to pick up moons ourselves, since there's chaos everywhere in Venal and there's no longer a NC MOON RULES structure in place. We're remaining blue to the Pure Blindies, since they're on our front doorstep and are forming their own little mutual defense pact, but (as long as we're not invaded and steamrolled, ha ha!) we have a bit more freedom of action now than we did a few weeks ago.

We have expended a lot of blood and treasure and effort on a lost cause, these past few weeks; I want everyone to take a couple of deep breaths and ensure that you have Maels, Scims, Scorps, etc in VFK - ideally one of each of the primary doctrine ships, possibly with backups if you can afford it.
Maels to shoot, Scims to rep everyone, and Scorps to make the legions of Amarr pilots we face from Evzeroke, NCdot and Mercilessdot cry. You know the drill.
I am also being told by basically everyone to buy a Lowe, and that they're worth it no matter what your objections might be.
