Shamis orzoz is King robert Baratheon and Renlys older brother Stannis Baratheon, he sits on his island and doesnt know much about anything and is generally clueless, but once he deploys everyone dies.

I think DBRB would fit Stannis better - the guy who everyone hates, sitting on the sidelines for ages, then entering the fight in spectacular fashion only to

lose horribly, get most of his side killed, and run to a far off corner to lick his wounds where eventually he is certain to die.

The role might be more comparable to Mittens except I can't think of anyone in all of EVE who is more different than Stannis, so it just doesn't work.

Most of the best comparisons are for characters that hit prominence in the next book/series or two.

Durrhurrdurr = Walder Frey, unless Razor makes a separate peace in which case this could be Fred0 or whoever is running the joint up there now
Elise = Jaime Lannister, always wins and endlessly loyal despite everything that happens
Sir Molle = King Aerys, should be self explanatory
Mynas = Balon Greyjoy, took his shot, had some glory, squashed flat, still around working steadily away at his goals
Imperian = Ned Stark, old, gets into the fight, mostly gets kicked around thanks to having no one dependable to delegate to

Okay time to get a decent preliminary report going:

UMI got hit first by what i think was evoke (jbs incapped, station services reffed and all that good stuff), there was some drive by shooting by both sides there (not 100% sure on these parts because i only got online in the aftermath of this - kb link: http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=9807450 ) and NC abaddon fleet got split up. That same fleet reformed in W-H, but with a bunch of people still stuck in UMI, our numbers werent too great - slightly over 100.
At this point fc gets word of IRC sbu-ing some tenal system(s), and seeing how we get reports of supers left and right (all somewhat spread out, but ofcourse within jump range of each other), fc decides to reship to bombers and fag it up.
We burn over to A1RR, kill 2 out of the 4 sbu's, get told to burn back to WH for some bombing fun and leave razor to deal with the remaining sbu's in A1RR. Once in WH we start sending wave after wave of bombers at red abaddons (we had about 100 bombers to start with), killing a substantial amount of fighters and fighter bombers and a couple (no clue on the actual number but it wasnt very many) ships/pods. We repeat the same routine on a gate, try to gank a salvaging proteus with torps but fail because most of us are afk or dead at that point and then stand down.
It seems like a lot of stuff in tribute is getting reinforced right now, with some minor pokes at Tenal (minor = irc).

Will be interesting to see how this develops

Edit: oh yeah and sometime during all of this we had a yelling contest on MM TS because we got word PL was relaying it to their TS. Just a not-so-friendly way of saying hi i guess

How the North fell under darkness.



The movement started slowly at first, but soon expanded exponentially into every part of life. The old commuter gate route that bore him to his exile was bought and the track scrapped and recycled to make way for a shining Jump Bridge Network. Sleek and silver, it tore through the NC like a volt across a wire, and as quickly as it moved, the NC was transformed around it.

Beneath the hammers of Vuk's new army of metal workmen, buildings were razed to the ground, leveled in a single morning. New Tech towers were laid in the same afternoon. Tower, shields expanding into the void, were erected before nightfall. Glass and steel wrapped the frames before the sun rose the next day. Then the armies of machines would move onto the next task. Never stopping. Never slowing. Never resting.

Morning after morning, the men and women of the city awoke to find a bright new world. Everything was remade. Made better. Made brighter. The streets were swept. The undesirables, the homeless, the criminal element of the city, systematically given space.

The single screen on top of the tower sent out signals to the now hundreds of satellite screens. The factories were fully automated. The mines run entirely by machine. The men that found themselves suddenly living lives of leisure crowded the bars, slowly imbibing the generous severances they'd received, not so much as a single ill word grumbled towards their replacements. The city was a bright and shining beacon of light... a steel-plated heaven.

Years passed.

A generation grew up within the metal arms that embraced the city. The older generations never told them what the city looked like before the machines. Why would they? What good could come from telling the children of the type of dark, filthy, and dangerous world that men create when left to their own devices? That once men slaved away deep inside the earth, risking death for the sake of survival. That once women left their children, still asleep in their beds, to grind away mindless hours in the factories, sacrificing family to secure necessities.

This new world was so perfect that it seemed dangerous to speak of the old world. As if this new city, sprung from a sea of darkness, was balanced on a single point, teetering on a crucial ignorance. It seemed that any misstep, any wrong word, could topple the city, sinking it back in the sea, that dark abyss of human suffering, leaving them with nothing. After all, they were not the creators of this world. They were merely the recipients of a gift. A gift given to them by a single man and his countless steel hands. And just as easily as it was given, couldn't it be taken away?

An unspoken fear dangled above the heads of every man and woman. Keeping them silent. Keeping them safe.

Even so, rumors started. Ghost stories of a demon. A beast with a single red eye. He that would hotdrop you from your Supercapital at night if you were found with a dissenting word on your tongue. Mothers told children to stay close as they traveled through the streets, keep a smile on their faces, and never speak ill of the machines.

A generation grew up inside the metal hands that gently circled the neck of the city. Some of them grew up hating the city, fearing the machines. There was one boy in particular. His name was Phreeze.
