Manny was certainly a bit optimistic in his idea of what happened last night.
130 Sys K on field? Hardly. 60 IT? about right.
each bomber warp in from DNS/whoever was pretty much shit. Each time they would lose 2-5 bombers. Total of 13 bombers/cov ops and two dictors for the evening lost to DNS/friends. I think we lost 1 dumb ass Drake who fell asleep while aligning, and 2 to a massive bombing run. Couple canes went down but can't remember specifically how. Looking at the bomber wrecks on field... it wasn't worth it for them. DNS used to actually be decent, but so far I've been un impressed. Not sure wtf the Sys-K "bomb the bomber" idea was all about but lots of bombs were flung on the field, impressive fireworks show.
Goons (&CO)joined the fight as SBU was halfway down. Apparently Manny is making up for lost NAPs from the past and inviting everyone to the party, as we discovered Goons hiding in a Havoc pos after their initial jump in. They warped in on SBU several times, warping out after landing (no fight). Grabbed one of their Zealots who straggled. Then they got the pos password from a Sys-K spy and grabbed some ammo in cans in the sys-k pos, which kept them occupied in local chat for the next 10 min. SBU popped, we (IT) left at this point. Sys-K hijacked SBU that was subsequently anchored and thats that.
IT reformed into Snipe HACS and had just started rolling towards PB when Goons left L5D and proceeded to go home through PB/Delve with intent to Fountain. With a combination of FC/shiptype/dictors/jump bridges, the 50 man goon gang entered Cloud Ring with 7 guys, 10-15 logged off in Delve/Fountain and the rest took the quick trip home. IT lost one Keres (wtf?) and two interceptors from what I can see, while Goons lost 10-15 guys in random shiptypes. More dictors (we had only one and one late arrival) would have made it a bit more fun, but good fight none the less.

doing sub siege damage with a 15bil ship on structures isnt what id call useful.
super carriers are just like anything else. when carriers were first introduced there were never meant to be 100 man carrier fleets...
the natural progression for supers is such, and when two of those fleets clash it will be epic in more ways than one.

What "Spin" is in his report? I was in the Sys-K fleet and the numbers are accurate. I've noticed a lot of people just join the fleet under threat of their corp being kicked, but don't actually participate.
Your (IT) fleet was down to ~60 (compared to 70 from the night before) as I guess 10 people already saw where this is heading and how much it's not worth their time.
Good move by the Sys-K guy ninja onlining the second SBU we put up. Have no fear though, we have plenty more where that came from

Ah sorry to have misread it. But the point stays the same. -A- has changed. And has become better then it was 6 months ago. We kill many and loose few.
This is very very true. A few months ago they were losing ahac gangs on their way to C-J. They are fairing much better as large blobs of drakes. I'd say they are well on their way to regaining elite PvP status.
