Looking at his killboard information, he's been fucking around with Unknown Entity for a month or so, and decides to bring in a lightly tanked Vindicator with 2-3 friends to fuck with them some more.

Manages to down a typhoon and a hurricane with this friends, and 3 minutes later the Erebus pops in and headshots him. Maybe a bit more tank wouldn't have helped much anyway.

Actually that's a really good ratting fit. Why have extra tank when you don't need it? Extra tank just means it takes longer to kill you. More Istabs/nanos will USUALLY save your ship, more sebos means quicker locking of rats, more DCUs = more dps.

and rigs are expensive maybe pilot wasn't isk to buy them (3 trimaks cost same as new bs hull)

Yeah but thats Wormhole - something like armor tanked tengu isnt anything new there (since for example you get massive penalties to shield (amount/resists) in some of those) - while those might be funny for the K-space dwellers in some cases they make perfect sense in W-space (if you check Aperture Harmonics kb you can find a lot of weird ones) ..

well it looks like you've caught them doing site. Look at the mid slot of that legion. He wasn't prepared to fight, they were doing mag/radar/salvage sites. Its normal to see weird setups with T3 in w-space. It really comes to their own wh and the ones they are doing the sites at.

There are wormhole fits which include things such as ships not using all their turrets for additional reps/transfers. Then there are failfits where they try to do everything at once. You don't do that. It isn't optimal. You fit a blackbird or something with hackers/analyzers and a destroyer for salvaging. Specialization is key to efficiency. By gimping the fuck out of their fits, they just make sites take forever to do.

Plus they were doing an anomaly, not a radar/mag.

well the legion is fit for hacking/analyzing as well as salvaging. If they want to salvage while killing the rats then destroyer is not optimal for it. I've seen my WH corp and several others with odd fits that worked very well. As R0ze said, take a look at AHARM killboard.

Nothing wrong with that fit. Kaikka's is pretty cheap and worth the isk (~150m) as is TS booster.

Expanded cargohold because there's literally nothing worth putting in that slot and boosters = life.
