Recently the game was found to be rigged and bugged and the named company refuses to either fix the problem or refund the paying costumers.
This is a international company with several costumers on a international level.

Yet they have repeatedly not responded to any of my/whatever contacts and even prevented me from accessing their servers, which i pay to have access.

I would like to press charges on the company X for not fulfilling their contract and would like to have my $$$ back.

I just helped the investigation phase, and it was about a series of shops that sold computers but didn't deliver the original cdrom's with it.
Strangely the owners of the shops felt that they were right, as they just sold hardware and not software, blablabla.

They got convicted, had to refund everyone that complained for the sum of the softwares in fault and fines for more that half a million euros.

Infinity isn't in "beta" yet. It's still under development, but seeing as how it's an indy game, there's the occasional tech release so you can see the goodies.

I think the devil would be in the details in that case, as I don't know what they were taken to court for, or how the law stands in Japan. the Law in the land of Ice might be diffrant. I think all we can say for sure, that it is early days for such processes as real law vrs virtual content.
