Do something NOT computer gaming related?
I'm really bored and thinking about resubbing WoW which is always my "last ditch" attempt to procrastinate.

Played assassin's creed 2 yet? it's great.
Or it has to be an mmo?
Morrowind is still great and dirt cheap now. Even if you've played it you can enjoy its two expansions in the GotY edition.
ME2 is my game of the moment.
and braid if you haven't played it.

Seconding Mass Effect 2. The first one was a good game, but ME2 leaves it totally in the dust.
there really needs to be a non-cheesy online geopolitics game like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balance...er_(video_game)
If you don't have friends in a raiding guild right now, wait for the wow expansion because otherwise you'll be playing the same game.
If you haven't played the latest expansion (wrath of the lich king), its amazing and fixes a lot of problems accumulated over the years. Being able to pug aninstance in minutes without stress is excellent.
Fallout 3 with all the DLC on steam is dirt cheap. Bad company 2 is a lot of fun, but I don't play it for more than a few hours at a time, and the lobby is terrible.
If you want something a bit more leftfield whilst deciding try http://machinarium.net/
I hit 80 and pretty much quit, I had decent ret/holy gear when I quit but it probably sucks now. I've played ME2 (I tried playing through it again on the hardest difficulty and got bored when I had to do all the loyalty missions again), I've played fallout 3, I don't want to get bad company, but I might check out morrowind. Morrowind is like an earlier version of Oblivion, but with more customization right?
ME2 is the reason i got nothing productive done today. i get to write some bullshitty emails tomorrow now :|
my fav morrowing char was athletics, jumping, and some other useless thing, then grind up levels by running/jumping everywhere all the time. by game end i was going horizontally 20 some feet with each step and could climb near vertical walls (including the "impossible" lava channels in the middle of the map)
the only thing that sucks about morrowind is the size of some of the cities and dungeons. even at max speeds it takes like 20 minutes to get from one part of vivec to another, mostly of cause of the shit layout of that town

I've been really enjoying dragon age lately, but I don't think it will get a replay because you have to go over each area with a fine toothed comb.
I've got to get mass effect 2 but I've been waiting for a price drop or special on steam. I know if I buy it before a special, it will go on sale the day after.
So yeah, if you don't have morrowingd go and buy it already
Magic abuser here.
and one of my favorite things about that game was actually the sheer size of it- the towns were like actual towns. The fast travel bullshit in Oblivion ruined one of the things that made Morrowind great for me. Getting to somewhere you were supposed to go to was actually as fun as whatever you did when you got there. Not many games can say that.
(and yes, i played with a mod that that reduced the frequency of those fucking cliffracers)

Go buy the Tropico pack from Good Old Games, or buy Tropico 3. (They're basically the same game). Wonderful tongue in cheek games about running a banana republic during the Cold War.
Morrowind is like Oblivion but with a better interface, more customization, better exploration, a plot that isn't retarded and, unfortunately, lots of game crashing bugs so be sure to save often. Also when/if you finish the main game check out Tamriel Rebuilt's mods as they are great (though incredibly slow in being released.)
Also it only took you so long to traverse Vivec because you refused to use flight spells and gondoliers.
I'm playing through Oblivion again and, while its pretty bad its nowhere near as bad as I remember it being.
Oblivion has a ton of mods that correct some of its gravest sins. I still think it was a step in the wrong direction from Morrowind though and i suspect the next game in the elder scrolls franchise is going to be a flop in the guise of a 'streamlined' gaming experience.
i.e. lacking depth, content, a good plot and believable characters in favor of modular customization, console style inventory management and gameplay and cutscenes.
