Former friend and director, someone who got myself and my fiance into the game.. oh some 5 years ago I think?, decided because I don't play and enjoy EVE like I used to that he would take it upon himself to fuck the corp finances on his way out the door to end-game land. Basically he got everything MAMBA had as a corporate asset that wasn't locked down or anchored in space.

The damage:

16billion isk and change in the corp wallet gone.

All our POS fuel / mods / spare towers / reaction BPOs ect gone.

Every asset in every office in empire and 0.0 gone.

6 corporate Dreads for our dread loaner program gone.

To add insult to injruy he decided to offline our reaction towers in ZLZ and pop the reactors.

What this means:

Welp.

Means we start over, tbh. It's nothing we can't recover from and it's nothing I'm not used to. Meta gaming is a part of EVE, no matter how much it sucks, it is. I'm not gonna let a bunch of pixelated isk and false friends COMPLETELY ruin the game for me. Affiliated characters will be removed as soon as the role timers end.

For the time being, ship replacement is on hold until we can rebuild the corp wallet and get some of our major assets back.

We could REALLY use your help. Donations of POS mods / towers / ship BPCs / BPOs.. isk... anything will help get us financially back in order.

To be honest, it's not me he's hurt. It's the group of players in MAMBA he's smacked in the balls and it's really sad to see the true colors come out.

Ya know, I can handle the spies, the smack, the threatening mails... but being betrayed by a friend is a pretty low blow... in an internet spaceship game.

To those who may be reading not in MAMBA, yeah another corp theft of a corp that doesn't stick out like others in EVE. So what. We're gonna move on, rebuild and continue to play like always.

First of all, this sucks, and I want to say I empathize Gho, especially considering this was someone you considered to be a friend.

I don't have a lot of corp responsibilities outside of ship replacement. With that in mind, I will continue to organize corp ops as I am able to, and we will try to build the corp wallet back up.

Anyone with industry alts can get Mackinaws to Hentogaira and mine ice for the corp. This would also be a big help, and I will provide Orca bonuses to any miners. I am usually there with my alts all the time. If only 10 people did this, we'd still make a good amount of isk/hour for the corp.

Let's fucking bounce back from this quick everybody, to prove that we're a solid corp of good players who can get shit done, both on and off the battlefield.

Since I'm mostly afk anyway due to RL, i figure the corp needs it more than me. 500 mill donation to the corp's petty cash fund . I sent it to Gho's account as I wasn't sure if any trouble-makers were still around.

All corp roles have been comb'd through. I also sent a billion isk to the corp wallet to keep us on our feet.

We have a great staff and a awesome member base. This corp isn't going anywhere.

But as for bouncing back!!, its easier than u might think peeps. Ive spoken to gho about this and got Her permission to post this,

Basically... If u can make a brand new caldari research alt, and get 8.0 with ishukone corp, u will gain access to R&D agents, the only skill requirement is u need to get hydromagnetic to 4 and research project management to 4. this will enable u - with the standing - to have 5 R&D agents pulling the most Reasearch points. this will get the maximum amount of hydromagnetic datacores, which are the most profitable. this would enable u to collect them after a month and be able to make about 225 mil. thats alot of isk for a little outlay. i estimate the outlay to be about 70 mil in skills, but that could be more.

A brand new alt should take about 70 days to get the skills in place for the 5 R&D agents.

All i think needs to be done is a bit of commitment over the next 3 months and if every man and his dog makes just 1 alt and get him setup. they not only benefit themselves, they can effectively assist corp with isk issues and it wouldnt matter, and dont forget, this is not temporary, u would be gaining this isk for the duration of ur eve online life, so u have basically paid for 1 of ur accounts for the rest of ur gameing career!!!! :~)

Do you have any idea what a chore it is to get standings with specific corporations , especially R&D corps. A. Find a caldari missioner that has 8.0 with Caldari and can get someone on the L4's. Other wise, you will spend atleast a solid month or 2 grinding out missions.

grinding with tengu in main shouldn't take too long with connections 4 i've got 3 accounts going to be getting data cores more than willing to donate all to corp since i am low on isk atm

what you want to do is spread the skills out evenly. I know coocha will want to buy the racial specific ship cores, as well as mechanical. I will need various cores as well for inventing to take out to vale.

I have a number of datacores myself on an alt, but one I can't get to because of standings for some reason.

wow, i am gone for abotu 2 weeks and this happens. if i had my internet, i would rat in my Machariel and give all the loot to corp. sucks...wish i could help any.

I cant get into game for some 2-3 weeks because of RL issues (work! work!)... so dont have money but I can contribute with 1 small pos(which is covered with spiderwebs)

so whats the worst a small bunch of guys selling datacores could do, we could never crash the market ourselves, thats for sure, and u would need some serious numbers to even try to affect it. i think its still viable , but i agree, maybe spreading the skills for different types of useful datacore would help!! but the main reason u want the one type is its quicker to skill into and u can use the isk to buy datacores that u need. also i havent got a clue how many factions u would need good standing with to get the other datacores!! This is an immediate solution which could benefit the guys in the long term and give the corp an injection of isk that it needs within 2 months!! that is all.

I'd also like to add that there are now alliance fees for every corporation, which I understand due to the massive amounts of isk that goes out to alliance POSs for bridges / jammers / gens, and our over 20billion isk in sov bills. Originally this was an easy bill to pay... .well it's not now.

The fee breaks down to 10mil isk per member in the corp (alts included).

We were not going to ask for fees from the members, however I'm wondering if it would be prudent to collect fees until the wallet is caught back up. We do not have to pay this month, however I would like to give SOMETHING.
