Alas to our confusion, the 300 baddies spread out in 4 (yes 4!) diffrent fleets in diffrent systems.
Trying to boost the morale of the troops we tries hunting brick fleet first, but they ran.

Then all of a sudden a Raiden fleet appears, they apparently live in Q now sypop:
Ev0ke drop on the Raiden fleet.
MM drop on the Ev0ke and Raiden fleet.
PL drop on the MM and Ev0ke and Raiden fleet.

pew pew pew local at 450.

MM playing is cowarding warping of grid alot.
They are also doing a 30 man bombing run on PL hellcats but they all had mixed bombs so lol nothing died.
Ev0ke are fighting like true men killing like 3 raiden carriers.

Raiden holds the field, hi5s given in local. The 100 brick drakes and 100 atlas/fail ahacs never showed up, apparently brick was repping some station and atlas/fail shooting some sbus v0v

I really hope that eventually we can get away from the vast majority of the AFK HC, they do just enough at the moment to appear active & on the ball; "hey guys we've got an idea, its great, its going to be huge, you'll love it" but in reality are doing nothing except keeping themselves feeling important. Its smothering any kind of progress or new blood coming through the ranks. I'm sure eventually we'll just shrivel up & die from our own doing.

You forgot about the PL Titan (i think it was Wasp O Ryan) jumping in the station we were repping in MO. Titan was initially bubbled but then managed to warp away and jump out. What was up with that? Fail jump or trying to DD some carrier repping the station?

Step One to Repairing The Goon Trust: Battle of Z3V - Goons Pined, MM Lied, Ev0ke Died
(MM died too)

On the heels of near-irreparable damage to a new Bropact, PL began the day by courting the Goon Dragon. MM, Brick, Fail, AtlasDOT, Nulli, and Ev0ke,formed in Drakes and Armor HACs to save a station that was curiously not in any danger. The Delve BFFs had 360 across six fleets (later merged into a tidy five fleets), so PL Head Diplomat Jogyn extended an olive branch to the wounded Goon offering not only temporary blue standings but also combined fleet, combined comms, POS passwords to bridge from Y-2, and even went as far as forbidding Elendar and Manny from fleet. The prideful Goons did not accept the kind Swedish offering, however, and decided instead to pine in a Y- system where they knew PL would not dare fight.

Meanwhile Team Delve BFFs were still forming, with four of the six gangs in 1DH and the other two a tad further away. Brick were the first to take initiative and bridged their Drake fleet into MO- to begin repairing the SBU-less system. At the same time they began to launch SBUs in 1DQ, sovereign Goon space. This would not stand! PL Hellcats bridged into 1DQ to fight off the Team Delve menace and began to wail on SBUs. After about 10 minutes it was evident that Team Delve were not quite ready, or at least were afraid of something as 330 vs 70 seemed to be pretty good numbers, so they began to unanchor their SBUs. Very curious maneuver. After saving the Goon system PL tried once again to start a fight with Team Delve and engaged the Brick gang in MO- on the station. Instead of fighting, however, they docked. Around the same time the FAIL/Atlas/Nulli gang merged into one and bridged out of 1DH to fly around in Querious and shoot structures in AHACs or something.

PL moved into 1DH to taunt Team Delve into fighting, giving their Drake fleets Leviathan bonuses as an extra advantage. Still nothing. Refusing to fight, Brick undocked once more and began repping their already-saved station in MO-. While the carriers were repping, an odd graphics glitch seemed to indicate that one of the Brick carriers were in Triage. The opportunistic Legion then tried to bridge onto the carriers, but inadvertently jumped instead of bridging. With a Titan tackled, in-cynos down, and 330 hostiles able to bridge at any moment, things were not looking too good for The Legion. Luckily the Brick dictors had only one bubble between them, and after tackling the PL Titan for 2 minutes it merely warped off to the Sun and jumped without incident.

Whilst the main members of Team Delve BFF were sitting docked, in a POS, or quite literally running the opposite direction of any hostiles, and Team Goon was still in Y-2 heartbroken, the burden of 0wn fell upon Ev0ke. Having spotted a Raiden gang nearby, Ev0ke lured the 70 Raiden Hellcats into a clever trap and dropped on them in Z3V. After initiating a winnable fight, Ev0ke called for Team Delve to help; surely this victory would bring back some swagger to Team Delve. The call to help fell upon deaf ears, though, as Brick decided not to burn the 5 jumps to join the fight, Nulli/Fail/Atlas were having fun shooting structures, and Imperian The Coward was backseating MM to warping in at 130km from the Hellcat fleets and chilling. Jogyn, The PL Hammer, flew over to make it a proper fight and perhaps force the Team Delve hand. Now supported by the PL Hellcat fleet, aided in large part by Hoover Tactics, Raiden was looking healthier and Ev0ke were bleeding Drakes with every reposition. Every once in awhile the MM Drake fleet would appear at max range, take some pot shots, and drift out of range.

Tenacious fighting continued for about half an hour. When all was said and done, the ever-honourable Ev0ke held their own but ultimately died to the combined PL & Raiden Hellcat fleet. The same could not be said for their inept friends, however; Brick stayed in MO- and didn't even attempt to assist, FAIL/Nulli/Atlas were in Querious with 100 AHACs doing nothing (in fact they were still traveling in the opposite direction), and MM got on 5 mails and scored 2 kills. Karma is a hilarious mistress, however, and while trying to run away before the Ev0ke fleet disengaged, the MM Fleet found itself trapped and lost ~40 of their fleet in their elite escape maneuver.

Today may not have totally mended the PL-Goon br0mance, but it was a positive first step~

For quite some time I think we thought this was some very clever Titan bait... yes the lack of a bubble was a bit strange - and after warping to the Sun following it we all warped back to the station in a state of shock (it decloaked and glared at us with an ominous look which clearly said 'bait cyno Titan')...

Much quite understandable confusion ensued.

To be honest I think the fleet was a little skittish seeing the -10 ticker, and whilst we might have got it down into a bit of armour - we knew that the Abbadons were only a bridge away and we understood that you guys might have broken off your engagement and were moving towards PR to bridge out.

We could have put the carrier fighters on it I guess - but I think everyone was thinking "GOD NO ITS A TRAP" so much that caution saved the day.

What I don't understand is even if it was a trap, your fleet wasn't worth much in terms of isk, so why not have a real go.

Good BR, glad to see them again Elise, but just a correction, Nulli didn't join any fleets with fail or atlas, and 99% of the time we just fly on our own down here as far as being in our own fleet (Vcruz are good friends of ours that we form fleets with). We formed today, but after we heard goons weren't coming, and saw all the different delve fleets running around in a clusterfuck, we said fuck this blue blob and stood down.
